So.. My Sonos Move ran out of juice. A typical situation, no doubt. It showed in the Android App as offline. I tapped it a few times (don’t know why, I guess I was a bit trigger happy) and it disappeared from the list of devices. I put it to charger base. It didn’t reappear. I tried reset + add new device, for very 1/5th of a second it finds Sonos Move, but then that window goes away and the app keeps searching for a device. Hmm I wonder, reboot the phone, same continues. I can’t add it, I can’t reset & add it. I go look from the Windows Desktop app. Well - in there, I can see it. I can control it. I can’t control it via Alexa tho. Sent diagnostics reports, mobile n667243110, desktop n16643197.

Hello! I am having difficulties setting up my iOS devices to my Sonos2 arc.  I am able to connect my Android device though. I live in an apartment and I am not sure if that’s the issue. I have rebooted and forgot product and all troubleshooting suggestions except the Ethernet hardwire because our box is not a typical home box. Although I have my own network, the apartment too has the same provider.  Will that affect the inability to connect on my iOS devices?

Hello,I have built my sonos system over the years and loved that I could link the rooms, I have older 2 x ZP120, 1 x connect, 5 x play 1, 5 x connect amp…….. is it possible to run it all on the older software and older app and have on the same system, lately it keeps telling me items are incompatible and open S1 or open S2.  I’m not bothered if I have to run on the older version of the app but don’t want two systems really as I often use the line in to play vinyl music through the house.

I guys,I can i play the music in my PC library in Sonos when my PC is turned off?I receive the message that Sonos can’t connect to my PC .Is there anyway to save the musics in Sonos app and don’t need to turn on my PC?Best regards

Is it possible to stream from a Bluetooth device, like a Turntable, to a Sonos Arc?The specs mention it having Bluetooth LE but, I’m not sure if that is just for apps on phones etc., to use. TIA

Bonjour,Mon enceinte SONOS PLAY 5 GEN 1fait du bruit au bout d’une quinzaine de minutes quand elle est sous tension.J’entends un légér “clac”.Que faut il faire ?Merci pour votre aideLL

W/apologies beforehand for the obv question: I have successfully added the PORT to my existing network and connected my KEFs to it through RCA cables. This works. What is the advantage of connecting the PORT through its Digital Out to the KEF’s optical jack? I know I would have to buy a spdif coaxial to optical converter, which is not a big deal--I’m just wondering what benefits derive as a result of doing that?

Hi,Recently, Spotify has started the service in Korea. I also have became Spotify users a few weeks ago. However, I am not able to find Spotify in Sonos app yet. I wonder that when Sonos support Spotify in Sonos app so that Korean users can add to music service. I really want to use Spotify with Sonos. Please check out the time when Spotify will be added. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I would connect my Onkyo to Sonos Arc because the I’ve a Rega Apollo + Rega P1 but I tried in many ways without success. I connected the Onkyo to TV via HDMI and the Sonos is connected to HDMI Arc but there’s no way to receive the sound. So I don’t understand if I’m wrong something or if this scenario is not supported. The alternative is purchase the Sonos Amp but can be used with Sonos Arc? The connection is via wifi?thanks

Hello, Opened my sonos controller app and Google play is no longer available.  Is this the case?I have playbar and play 3 speakers.

I am trying to connect my two Sonos One SL’s and Sub to my Sonos Arc SL. I have had no luck with his and continuously receive an error when I try to pair each of them. Under Sound System Info I have this warning and do not know what it means: Warning: Your wireless network will not support the use of a Sub or surrounds with your Sonos Arc SL. Can someone please help with this? I am using my 2.4GHz channel to connect with the Arc SL.

Sorry if this has been asked before (I’m sure it has...)I’m wondering if it’s possible to use only the left and right One SL speakers from a Surround Set for music playback then continue to use the Beam + 2 x One SLs as a Surround Set for TV audio. Thanks!

I have to single out the Connect Amp to start playing music and then add/group all the other speakers in order to play music, otherwise I receive an error message “unable to add music to the queue.”  Sonos Support could only see the Connect Amp as connected to Wifi and we have not been able to solve the issue despite lots of troubleshooting.  Anyone else have this issue?  When I single out the two speakers connected through the Connect Amp and select the desired music before grouping the remainder of the speakers, everything works fine.

I submitted diagnostics….confirm # is 1739304462. We have One SLs on both sides of primary tv, and an Amp connected to the tv instead of a sound bar.  Audio is great when playing music.  When watching tv, sometimes the sound is consistent and no problems.  At other times, those two speakers cut in and out like crazy.  I know most have a sound bar, but we were hoping to go this route w/ the Amp for a couple reasons (bad space for sound bar, the Amp also allows us to play vinyl through all the SLs).  I’ve seen the recommendation of unplugging both the Amp and router and have done that once, but can’t imagine constantly doing it.  TIA for any info.

Using S1 iOS app and unable to add long playlist to queue. Cleared pre-existing songs from queue.

Hi I have a problem of late where our main zone connect amp randomly starts playing a completely random spotify song.  Reading some other topics it seems like a rogue control device is the likely culprit, so Im trying to find out which one!It just happened very recently and I sent a diagnostic file through straight away - number 799321881 - the random play will have been the last thing that played .  Can any of the spotify reps who frequent the forums take a look at it for me and shed any light on the issue. Thanks heaps Barry

How can I connect my Gen 1 Play 5 to the S2 system with my other speakers? I’m looking to have them all play the same music or source.

How come Alexa can't play from the Apple Podcast skill on my Sonos smart speaker?

Hi I’ve just inherited my late father’s old Sonos Zoneplayer S5.  I already have 2 Play 1s and a Play 3 on my system but note I have to use the old Sonos app to manage the Zoneplayer S5. Are there any plans to update the new app to manage the Zoneplayer S5 at all? Also is there any way to connect the Zoneplayer S5 to my Alexa system?  Many thanks

Since the last update to my Play One and S2app, I can no longer adjust the music on any alarms, new or existing.i have a series of Alarms with music defined, that leverages Tidal. I change the music every now and again to reflect what I’m currently listening to.Alarms with existing tracks/albums/playlists chosen from Tidal work as expected.  if I try and create a new alarm, I can’t choose music from tidal. I see the top level categories (Artists, Albums, etc), but can’t browse them, the app selects the category instead. If I try and create an alarm using another service (amazon prime for example) I can browse fine. From within the main music part of the application, I can browse Tidal as usual and can play music directly. There seems to be a bug/regression or similar that has broken the browsing function within the alarm, but only for tidal. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app,,to no avail.  Any ideas? Thanks Dan

Hi.. I can see and select Sonos speakers in spotify app but when selected doesn't play. They do work with Sonos app but not with Spotify. Can anybody help me please?

Hi all, had a new Virgin media hub3 installed yesterday and now can’t play radio stations through the Beam via Alexa. Worked perfectly a week ago, just a new hub fitted! Help please!

Hi,I’m trying to set up my sonos beam in order to play sound from an analogical system. I bought an analog to digital adapter that is offering a sdpif output with the following characteristics : 2 channel, LPCM, no compression, 48 Khz.However, when I plug in the sdpif adapter from the beam, it does not work. The adapter works with my TV, so I know it works by itself.Does anyone know what signal is the sdpif beam adaptor expecting ? Is there any way to make my setting work ? Thanks for reading.

I have a Connect:Amp being used to connect a turntable (Line In) to my living room. Currently it’s just a Beam but the plan is to add Ones or Symfonisks for 5 channel surround. My question is if I use the Sub Out from the C:A to connect to a third-party powered subwoofer, will it provide the missing .1 or would it just send out a generic low level signal? My assumption is the latter, since the Sonos app forces me to create a separate room for the Amp that I can only group with the Beam room. If this is the case, is it even worth it to go the third-party route or should I just save up for a Sonos Sub instead? Setup would be used equally for music and movies/TV.

So I’ve spoken to several Sonos reps on the phone and have not been able to resolve this issue. Basically I’ve recently purchased a used Connect:Amp to be able to connect my turntable (the brand is Tone Factory with built-in pre-amp) via line-in to my Beam. Setup goes smoothly and audio comes out of the Beam no problem when I manually select the turntable in the Sonos S2 app. However, no matter what combination of settings I try, I cannot get the Autoplay feature to switch from whatever the Beam is playing (I've tried with the TV on and off, as well as streaming music through Sonos Radio and Spotify) to the Connect:Amp once I start playing a record on the turntable. One rep told me the reason is that the Beam, which already has TV autoplay, has a built-in delay and waits for a signal from the tv so I must turn off the tv and wait for 10, oh no actually, 20 minutes before autoplay will work on the Connect:Amp. But besides being extremely impractical, I don’t think it can be true because
