Hi,I have a problem with my recently purchased Sonos Amp. I have two external speakers (not Sonos) connected to my Amp through cable, and streaming music from my phone as well as the TV sound works absolutely fine. However, when I change to line in, in this case a turntable, the sound only comes out of one of the speakers. I have tried with a different RCA-cable, but that didn’t make any difference. Also, when I go into Sonos settings and change the sound to only right, there is no sound at all - almost as if I didn’t have the right speaker connected. There is, of course always a risk that something is broken, but I was wondering if anyone else share the same experience, and have a potential fix for it? Since the sound works fine with streaming/TV, I suspect it might be something with the turntable, but it could, of course, also be the connectors on the AMP that is broken…Any help is appreciated!//Fredrick

I have just installed a Sonos Arc.  No matter what I do, I can’t get Atmos playing (the Atmos flag in the Sonos app never appears, and the sound is definitely 5.1) My set up:  Sony XBR55 x900H (latest firmware) with eARC.  This TV supports Atmos.High Speed (w/ethernet) cable going to Sonos Arc.Arc paired with Gen2 subwoofer and 2 Sonos OnesSonos S2 app updated. Content tried:Netflix movies (w/Premium Account)Disney+ movies and shows Blu Ray discs  As noted, I have played tons of stuff, but nothing triggers the Atmos flag (as shown in Ryan’s Arc tutorial).   Any thoughts/suggestions/things to try will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!    

My Sonos system is connected fine through my PC and Samsung phone but suddenly my iPad IOS 14  app is no longer able to find my Sonos system. I’ve activated the Sonos system through my iPad system settings. I’ve rebooted the router three times. I’ve rebooted the iPad 3 times and reinstalled the iPad 3 times. I’ve tried connecting the router to a speaker with an Ethernet cable and still it cannot find my Sonos system. The system continues to work through my PC and Samsung phone. It has been working fine and I have made no changes to the system. All other wireless devices working fine.

I purchased a new 2020 Samsung 80T 65 inch tv and attached my Sonus Arc soundbar via an HDMI cable to the e-Arc HDMI connection on the TV.  No matter what setting I have tried and even after updating the firmware on the Samsung TV and the Sonus Arc soundbar, I still have the sound either cutting out every 10 sec to the TV switching between TV sound and the Sonus Arc Soundbar.Does anyone at Sonus know if this is a Samsung issue or a Sonus Arc issue?  I have seen other posts stating that Sonus is working with Samsung on the issue.  Does anyone have an update?  New firmware coming?  Any date?

My Connect device is connected with a wire to a router. I have a home network also connected wiredly to the same router. However when I am far from the Sonos device and not connected to the same router wireless, I can't control the device. Looks like I am not getting the connection to the device via the TP Link extender, whereas I am receiving the internet signal. looks like the Sonos device is not accepting the wired connection and always prioritizing it's wireless network... has anyone encountered a similar issue ? Lionel  

Has anybody had success with any particular model of car charger for the Sonos Move? I bought one that matched the specs on the Move technical support page and it didn’t seem to work so looking for a brand or model that does.

When playing content that was encoded with Dolby Atmos from Netflix with the S2 app, it used to show the Atmos badge. I just noticed this week that it doesn’t do that anymore. I have a Sony XBR CH90. Anybody else having the same issue?

Evening all.I’ve now upgraded all my old gear and gone full S2.Not greatly worried by the value/promises/what’s to come debate BUT, would love to hear your audio assessment before any after of going Amazon HD on S2 please.All my boxes ( Connect Amp’s and a Port & several SW’s) are linked to B&W CCM 684’s and 682’s and are hard wired RJ45..Simple question ….  can you tell the difference? Before Amazon HD and after going Amazon HD on an S2 system? And how big of an improvement is it?Thanks

I have an S1 system which is zoned throughout my house using Connect:Amps. I want to get an Arc to replace the existing playbar but I believe that the Arc is not backwards compatible with S1 and nor are the connect:amps compatible with S2. This means I’d have to have a separate system for the Arc only on S2 which would not integrate with the rest of the house zones. Can someone please confirm this? 

Received my new Roku 2020 yesterday. Connected it to the HDMI 2 on my Sony Bravia XBR-55X900E along with my new Sonos Arc, Gen3 Sub and SL ones for surround and man is it awesome. Always have been an Apple guy but this takes the cake. Netflix and Amazon Prime sound great in Dolby Atmos. 

Hi,I have a Sonos Amp wired to 4 ceiling speakers. I also have a TV installed in the same room as the wired ceiling speakers  (AMP is in another electrical room) without the ability to attach an HDMI ARC to the amp. Is there technology, or a solution to link my TV into the AMP wirelessly to create my ceiling speakers as a sound output for the TV. (im thinking HDMI ARC wireless adapter) or something similar? Or would the ARC be needed to run the sound output and connect to the AMP to utilize the ceiling speakers for the TV?

I have send in diagnostics. When and how can I expect an answer?

I’m enjoying the Lutron Caseta integration and using Pico remotes to control my two Sonos Ones on the main floor of my home. However, I’m experiencing a lengthy delay when I try to pause music or change the volume for the Play: 1 upstairs.    Description of issue: I can use the Play/Pause button on the remote to start playing music. There is hardly any lag (i.e. the speaker starts playing almost immediately). After the music is playing, I am trying to use the same Play/Pause button to stop it. The lag between me pushing the button and the music actually stopping can be anywhere from 3-10 seconds. I’m seeing similar behaviour when I try to change the volume.   Things I have tried: Swapping pico remotes. Same behaviour with a different remote. And all remotes can control the Sonos Ones without any noticeable lag Pausing using other methods. I can play/pause using the Sonos app and the speaker responds very quickly. I also have my Sonos system connected to SmartThings, and I set up a diff

Hii just got a new TV and setup my Beam Bar and a new thing is happening where when I switch from HDMI1/Directv to HDMI2/Apple TV, my Beam Bar keeps playing HDMI1 audio even tho tv is on HDMI2. anyone know how to fix this? im running my Beam via Optical

Alexa says it will play then doesnt on Sonia 1. Other non Sonos devices do play and say the music is already streaming on another devise I.e. Sonos 1. Before this the music played for a number of years don't know what hapoened

Hello. I have 2 Play One SL and 2 Play:5.I have been using them for the past 7 months with no problems.Since last week I cannot group my 2 Play One SL to play together.I can group all the other rooms but for some reason when I try to group the 2 Play One SL I get this message: “unable to connect speaker. please try later”.Both speakers work independently and I am able to play music separately. The problem starts when I want to group them together.I have also tried a factory reset but to no avail.I have submitted diagnostics and the number is: 2138763499Can you help?Thanks.

I have had the Sonos amp for a few weeks in a living room setup and for the most part am enjoying it. The issue I am having is when watching 5.1 content through an apple tv 4k where I have media files we play back with infuse 6. On these files, they play fine but loud passages such as explosions, crashes etc are much much louder than they should be and dialogue is then very quiet relative to other sounds. Because some of the video content has DTS as the default audio format I have set the apple tv 4k to downmix to stereo. Anyone else have this issue?

I have my Sonos Arc playing my music via Alexa but is there a way for the Sonos Subwoofer 3 (which is connected) also adding to the sound? The music only seems to come from the soundbar. thanksMichael

For last couple of weeks have not been able to connect my products to app other than by using cable.have reset multiple times but system doesn’t seem to want to connect to my WiFi having worked for several years.any thoughts? I reset, it picks up products says they are connected but don’t show on system  

Hi. Every time ‘without fail’ I go onto the sonos app I get on ‘unable to connect to sonos app’ message. Sometimes if I wait about 10mins it connects but then has dropped out half of my system. Then sometimes it will not connect to anything. Then sometimes it takes about 30seconds then I’m in. This has only recently started happening and used to work absolutely fine, even with the S2 app. There is nothing wrong with the lower connection to the sonos products, nothing wrong with the internet connection and even if I toggle off/on my phones wifi it doesn’t tend to work. Anybody else getting this issue. It’s so frustrating and am running out of ideas. I’ve even changed the wifi router channel to be on the suggested 1 or 6 (2ghz). Still nothing.  Thanks Ross

Hi, am a bit confused about this one. Have got hold of a CR200 off a mate, but the touch screen isn't working. Am looking to get 30% discount on a Beam but clearly can't integrate the CR200 into my Sonos setup....is there another way of doing this, via the serial number perhaps? 

I know this has come up multiple times but when searching in the forum, it doesn’t find the threads. Why is the SONOS app so awful? Honestly, it is the worst app I’ve ever used. Issues:Loading the app can take forever Playing a Sirius channel never works - it always says that channel is no longer available. I have to click another one, play it for a bit, then change to the one I want Some times it won’t play anythingI have spent a lot of money on all my SONOS equipment and I love the system. I am baffled by how awful the app is. Note: I had an android app and now back to apple and they are equally bad. The apple app might actually be worse.

Recently purchased and set up, Sonos Arc, Sub, One SL.All speakers work with Netflix, CD, DVD, music and film streaming and through my chosen radio station.I have Sky TV but NO SOUND works through any SKY program on one SL. Any ideas.

So I have my PS5 set to sound bar and dolby bitstream, but neither the 4k discs/streaming services apps such as appletv are showing the dolby symbol in the sonos app, when things are playing. My Series X is showing Dolby Atmos though with disc and streaming apps.  Is it just not supported by PS5?

I have 2 Sonos One SL speakers that were on a system at my office and now I have moved them to my house. I have tried the factory reset directions 5 times on this link below on each speaker…https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1096?language=en_US The light just slowly flashes white - never amber - then goes to solid white, then a few fast orange / red flashes then white again.
