In our flat I’ve got two wirless access points connected together by RJ45 gigabit ethernet.Both APs expose the same wifi network (same SSID and passowrd) for mobile devices to switch seamlessly between both.Some Sonos speakers connect to one AP, some to the other. As you can see in the below printscreen, The Sonos app discovers all my speakers, but not spotify. The same happens if I use the spootify android app. How can I get all speakers in the spotify app?

I want to be able to use Sonos Arc for the dolby Atmos, but the PS4 only has one HDMI port and both projector and Sonos Arc require the HDMI port. Sonos Arc optical converter doesn’t allow for Atmos. So my question is what is the best receiver for this set up? I will get the PS5 at some point, but that also only has one HDMI port so I’ll run into the same problem there. Any Receiver recommendations or other ideas I’m not aware of?

It just seems like a no Brainerd that Sonos should be offering an A/V receiver.  Why don't they? Also are there any plans or forecasts of them doing so in the near future?   It just seems to make the most sense especially for those of us who would like to replace existing equipment and the versatility ot would provide would be unparalleled  ( Sonos products with 3rd party speakers, tvs, etc.)  I would totally purchase  it and so would several of my friends.  Seems like a fairly simple concept if they based it around the Sonos amp and just added a bunch of inputs and a couple outputs

Hello,when I now search for a song etc my app only looks at my library but no longer Spotify. This is happening in both iOS and Android. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no success. Any idea what is going on?Thanks

my sonos connect keeps trying to get a dhcp address…  i have like 15 sonos devices in the house, but this one keeps polling my dhcp server about every 5 minutes … it seems it has lost the ip address as when it is doing this I can’t ping it.  It gets the IP address as eventually I can ping it, and then it appears to lose it again.I just setup  a reservation for it and it got the ip address I rerserved for it, and then back to losing the ip and going back to discovery again.  While it does this it outputs an annoying pop sound to the amp it is plugged into.I am looking at it with wireshark, and I can see the discover coming from address 0.0.0.0 which means yeah it has lost its address and trying to get it again.I was on a chat session with a sonos tech and they had just told me the diag I sent them was indicating it was having trouble getting an ip address and then the session dropped.  Haven’t found a time slot to restart it, just wondered if this rings any bells with anyone?  I would l

Hi there.I recently upgraded my router to a Wifi 6 (no extender or mesh). I have3 x older Play 1s (2 as surrounds)1 x Soundbar3 x One SLsI have found that, using 2.4GHz wifi, the 3 One SLs (i.e. newer hardware) work just fine however the older hardware cannot be seen on the networkUNLESS I turn off Wifi 6 mode and go into a compatibility mode… Then everything is fine. As a workaround, my house is Cat 5 wired (and a couple of units are placed to enable connection directly to an ethernet port. I therefore connected the Playbar to try and create a hard wired configuration… It seemed that this didn’t work either, with an inability for anything to be seen / configured by the iOS app…My questions are therefore:1. Am I right to assume the Play 1’s and Playbar will not work with Wifi 6?2. Because wireless router remained on whilst trying to config in wired mode, has this prevented a wired mode setup working?3. What is the range of using SonosNet (i.e. wired mode) vs WiFi?(and finally) 4. Would

Hello, apologies if this is treading old ground but I’m new to this and my head is hurting.I’ve just bought an Amp, and I have two Symfonisk speakers.I would like to plug my record player into the amp, and also plug my TV into the amp (HDMI ARC) to create a surround sound system using the Symfonisks.My questions are:Can I use the TV speakers as the front speakers, and the Symfonisks as the rear?Assuming the answer to the above is no, then I am going to have to buy new speakers for the front or back.  I’m a bit confused as to whether the best answer is to buy a beam for the front, or buy two passive speakers.  Any recommendations for good, simple, low-cost solution gratefully received. 

Hi, I'm experiencing frequent drop outs while listening to music. They are usually short (2-5 seconds). Music basically stops playing on all of the speakers in my living room at the same time, and restarts on all speakers together. My setup is Playbar and Sub next to each other at the front of the living room, and two Sonos Ones at the back. Playbar is wired to a Wifi router which also sits at the front of the room, around 4-5m away from Playbar and Sub. There are also two Symfonisk lamps in the bedroom and Boost in between Living Room and Bedroom. None of the Sonos devices connect to my home Wifi, they are all on SonosNet, channel 11. Speakers and the controllers have been updated to S2. For this test I was playing music only in the Living Room. The "SONOS_IP_ADDRESS:1400/support/review" diagnostics page confirms that the Playbar uses channel 11 and also channel 48 to communicate with the Sub and Ones: Mode: INFRA (sonosnet) Operating on channel 2462 Home channel is 2462 HT Channel

i bought 6 sonance ceiling speakers.  installed them in the living/Dining room with a the sonos AMP.  When a play songs with certain frequency i hear vibrating distortion.   Here is my findingsI tested all 6 speakers on the same line and song so that i have a common test.  The results were as follows3/6 speakers had the vibrating distortion very prevalent2/6 the sound was there but not as bad1 had the best quality.Obviously the quality of these speakers is not the same. I opened a case with SONOS and waiting for their response.   I also recorded the sound so that you can hear the distortionNo happy at all. Has anyone else experience this issue

Why doesn’t someone make the android phone app do the same things as the PC app? They both show Music Library, SONOS Radio, Amazon Music and TuneIn. But the phone app does not show SONOS Playlists. If I go to on this Mobile Device, I see Playlists, but I get a message that says, No selections are available. There are no instructions I can fin as to how to add to the phone playlists. Please, can someone help here? I would like the playlist I have set up on the PC to show on the phone so I can choose the fruits of my labor. Thank you.

I tried to play music through airplay on my Sonos One and Sonos One SL stereo pair. The problem was the music suddenly started at maximum volume. I stopped the music after about 3-4 seconds. My concern is why this issue occurred and if my speakers were damaged as a result. Thanks.

I have a new Sonos Amp and have connected my TV using HDMI ARC. All works great. I don’t always want the sound through my Amp, however. When my kids are watching stuff I’d prefer to use the TV sound. I’ve turned OFF TV Autoplay but that doesn’t seem to do anything. Everything always comes out of the Amp. Even if I turn off ARC in my TV settings, somehow it gets turned back on automatically next time I turn on the TV (LG C8). My only option presently is to keep unplugging the HDMI cable from the Amp. Any ideas? Is it possible to switch between my Amp and TV sound?thanks. 

HiI’ve had a Sonos Arc since they first came out in June, but have had repeated audio cut out issues with it in the past few months with my Samsung Frame 2020 TV. Those issues have been widely reported in these forums already. I’m living with lack of Atmos in the hopes that Sonos and Samsung will eventually resolve this… What I am seeing now though is different and I’ve not found any related questions. My Arc seems to randomly decide to power cycle entirely - audio cuts out, and the lights come on as if it is restarting from being unplugged and plugged in again. I’m at a loss as to what could cause this. It will happen regardless of whether there is audio playing.  Have checked all of the cables, changed power sockets, and left everything off for a bit. Nothing helps with this randomly occurring issue. I took the liberty of submitting a diagnostics report (number 1456821504).  Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Is the Project Debut Carbon Sonos Edition turntable the same model as the manufacturer's or is it different?It only changes what has the Sonos logo?

Hi FolksAfter posting last week about the issue I have with my wireless network not supporting surrounds I tried as suggested resting my router and connecting the beam to the router with an Ethernet cable an it hasn’t worked and the router is too far away for the Beam to be permanently wired. I have also restored factory settings and reconnected the 3 speakers and the message still appears. Does anyone have any other suggestion or am I being forced to buy the Sonos Boost which I assume would fix the issue ?Thanks in advance for your help 

Hi,I consider buying a Sonos turntable and connect it to a Play 5 speaker (paired to another Sonos Play 5 speaker + Sub Gen 3).One question though….If the turntable is connected to these two paired 5 Speakers, will these speakers still be able to play music form other sources ?RegardsGeorges`

I just bought a house that has existing in-ceiling dumb speakers, and I have a Beam. What I don’t have is $650 for an Amp (I just bought a damn house, I have negative money!). I don’t really need to connect the in-ceiling speakers to my Sonos system; is there a cheaper alternative that allows me to use the beam and the dumb speakers together just for TV audio?

Original Sonos customer, with 5x ZP100 units.  Still going strong. When we upgraded our TV system,  immediately bought the ARC and the Subwoofer. Only in set up did I learn that S2 CONTROLLER APP exists. Yes, S2 drives the two new items well. YET, in the same room is one of the ZP100 units and excellent ceiling speaks. We'd love to be able to play both.  Any way to link them??

I have an ARC on B/O with Sonos - come on 2/28! During the wait, I plan on building some L brackets to allow to for the bar to be placed in front and below my tv. Can someone please measure the distance from the back of the Arc to the front of the foot (red arrow).  I’ll researched old posts and know the distance between these ‘feet’ is 41.28 inches. Thank you! 

My arc is set roughly 750mm off the ground and 5 inches from the base of the T.v both are mounted on the wall. Sonos arc wall mount is used.. When seated on the sofas the sound I get is not as good as when standing... Do I need to lower the arc.. Thanks

Hello,Today I started to have a problems with my Sonos system.I have 2xOne, 1xOne SL and Beam. I don’t know how it was happend but I lost all my configuration.So, I did factory reset in all devices. Reinstall Sonos app on Android and iOS.And I just can’t connect all my devices. I can connect one of them and that’s it. When I’m trying to connect next device the message “We couldn’t find any Sonos products on your mobile device’s network so we can’t set up your Sonos One. Please try again later” is displayed.My ID 129241624I think I need some helpRegards
