Hi,I have just bought my second Sonos - Beam. First Sonos I have is One SL and it is located in bedroom (1st floor in detached house). Due to floors I have one router (utility room) and two access points - on each floor. All works fine, one WIFI.When I am on ground floor I only can see Beam (living room), when I go upstairs my system reload and I can see only One SL. I understand it is because of wifi from AP (when I am in living room, system can’t see One SL from bedroom - it is in the range of AP on 1st floor). It works fine, and relod is smooth but there is a problem with my wife’s iphone. She has Sonos S2 app too and it is signed to the same account (my account). The same mail and password. But we still can’t see Beam on her phone. In the same time I see it on my phone (and by account on web by laptop, both Sonons are online) and on her iphone there is still only One SL. Why? What can we do? System “can’t see” Beam when I try to add it by her phone. Of course we are for 100% in one

I’m trying to ascertain if I need a LAN wired connection to my ARC if using an a Sonos amp for my rear ceiling 8 ohm speakers?  My amp is in rack in comms room 10 metres away from my Arc and TV.

Hello,I have a Beam and a Sub hooked up to a 2019 Samsung Q7DR.I actually have two questions. See below.ISSUE 1:When using the Spotify app from the TV’s menu, I can’t get Dolby Digital. PCM Is the only option. When I use the Xbox One’s Spotify app, I get Dolby Digital sound. Also, the DD sound works through other apps such as Netflix and Youtube. ISSUE 2:Often when I pause something or turn the TV off and then on, the Beam resets the volume to zero.I don’t think this is a consistent thing, but I’m not really sure. Thanks!

Hi AllI am shortly joining the world of Sonos (Arc soundbar, Sub and a couple of Ones as rear speakers) but an unsure about the best way to connect my turntable to the system. I want to use the speakers detailed above to play my music through and don’t want separate speakers for the turntable (which I have currently). The turntable has a built-in pre amp. What’s the best way to connect this to the Sonos system - I’ve seen the Amp and Port, would one of these be the way to do it?Thank you!

Good morning all,I'm new to this community, your help and advise would greatly appreciated. I have recently setup a new setup which consists of Bt Full fibre to house Fttp. Draytek AP1000C x 3 and a Draytek 48port PoE switch. I decided to separate the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz as I wanted to know which bandwidth i am connecting too. Yesterday, I setup my Sonos home cinema system to the 2.4ghz  SSID. It all works fine as long as im on that SSID, however if I then chose to move over to the 5ghz SSID it doesn't see a network and Sonos will not connect on my mobile phone. Sonos system is wifi only no ethernet connected. Please can you advise if is it possible for the Sonos controller to work on both SSID.  My system comprises of a Playbar with sub 2 xSonos one (Gen 2) surround (TV Room)Additionally for music only.Sonos play 5 (Gen2) x 2 loungeSonos one (Gen 2) x 2 office and bedroom

Hi guys,we just purchased our SONOS ARC 3 days ago and are using it with a 2020 Samsung Q95T QLED TV, plugged into the OneConnect box via the e-EARC slot.  Sound Performance wise the sound bar is great all features including ATMOS are working fine.  The issue we are having with ours is that once per day when turning the TV on the sound is cutting in and out repeatedly. We will get sound for about 2 seconds then it cuts out for about 5-10 seconds, rinse repeat. Turning the power for the ARC off then back on at the power switch fixes this issue. But this is the second day in a row the issue has occurred and I am worried that this will start happening more often, it’s a new sound bar + TV this shouldn’t be a thing. Is anyone else experiencing this issue with their ARC? thanks in advance

Hi,I cannot add Google Assistant to my Sonos. I have one beam and two one setup as surround system. So far I have tried resetting all sonos and try to add google when only one unit was enable, tried different sonos and google assistant account, tried adding google sonos from different IOs devices but every single time when sonos switches over to google assistant I get error message that they might a problem….

After I changed the email for my napster account  password, my songs, stations, etc stop loading on sonos. I realized I hadn’t changed my sonos email address so I just did that, hoping it would fix the problem.  However, when I go to settings on Sonos, my new email appears as “name” and my old email is “account login.”  Settings allows you to edit your name or password but not the account login. Help.

I have two home theaters, one each for each of my TVs, made up of a Beam, Sub and two One SLs. Both are working fine. However, on one the status lights are green when audio is coming from the TV. On the other the status lights are off when audio is coming from the TV. The TVs are the same model and the Beams are connected to the respective HDMI ARC input. In the Sonos app I’ve switched the status light toggle to off for all devices. Does anyone know why one setup shows green lights and the other doesn’t?

Hello everybody,                             Is the Sonos move design to always be on the charger ring? Thanks in advance. Julie

Hi all, The Sonos controller app does not work on my new M1 MacBook Air. As soon as the software starts up, it stops responding and the only way out is for me to Force Quit. I have tried uninstalling, re-installing, clearing cache etc.  Is this a known bug?  Many thanks.

I saw in the Alexa app there is a Sounds option in the app to turn on sounds before and after the commands. They are both off but yet she still bloops. Any way to make this work in with my One?

Hello I am using OS X El Capitan, with iTunes version 12.8.2.3. Just can’t get Sonos Move to show/work as an Airplay device. iTunes keeps on quitting when I try a click the move speaker.Tried all the usual stuff, rebooting Move and Mac. Haven’t rebooted router just yet. So, am I doing something wrong? Can Sonos Move actually work on El Capitan iTunes? Many thanks

I have 4 Sonos amps in a central location for 4 different rooms (zones). I have ceiling speakers (2 each) for each zone/room. How can I connect my TVs to these amps? Do I need to run a long HDMI-ARC cable for each TV to the amp or is there another option? Please help. I am clueless and reading available information online is confusing.  Someone suggests getting an HDMI extension and a receiver and run a cat 5 cable. I have cat 8 ethernet cable. I did not know you can run audio through this cable line.

Dear community,I’ve been trying this setup.Turntable via Line out (pre-amplified signal) via Sonos Port.Sonos Port connect with RCA cable to each BEOLAB 6000, speakers set on line.So far I have truly enjoyed what I've heard but I have a nagging issue. The vocals in all the records I've listed too just don't sound "right". The music is clear and the highs are especially pronounced, but the vocals are always subdued, sometimes sounding distant, almost in the background or sometimes slightly distorted. Same thing with an old and a new vinyl. I'm sure it has something to do with my turntable set-up process since this is my first time, so I'm hoping I can get some suggestions. Many thanks for your support.Regards.

Is there a way to test if mic is working?Mic light is on; Sonos settings show Alexa connected; Alexa app shows Sonos skill active but Alexa doesn’t respond.

So I have a beam with 2 play 1s for surround and a connect amp with in ceiling speakers and an svs sub hooked up to it. The beam is connected to the TV via hdmi arc. The issue I have is that when controlling the volume of the TV with its remote it only adjusts the volume of the beam and play 1s. The connect amp volume doesn't change. Is there a fix for this? And I do not want the in ceiling speakers to be surrounds. Thanks.

I have a Sonos Amp and a Pro-Ject CD Box connected to line in. Is it possible to pair the Pro-Ject remote control (pictured below) with the Sonos Amp to control volume? If yes, how?I also have a TV connected via HDMI ARC, and the only thing I manage to do is to pair the TV remote (Samsung) to control the Sonos Amp via IR, in addition to ARC, which is an almost decent workaround to control volume when listening to line in, without having to turn the TV on, but it would be really smooth to be able to do that with the Pro-Ject remote instead. When I try to pair it now, the Sonos app just says it does not detect any IR signal. (And yes, the battery is OK, and the remote is fully functional).

Hi,My sonos system comprises of two Symfonisks as a stereo pair, a play 3, play 1 and two play 5s.  The Symfonisks were in a kitchen group with the dot and were set as the default player for that room. When I asked alexa to play some music it would say “playing x on amazon music on sonos”  and then play the music on the stereo pair. I could also ask Alexa to play music on one of the other players.   I started getting issues where Alexa would say “playing x on amazon music on sonos” but nothing would happen. I`ve deleted all the sonos devices (and rooms I had set up) from the Alexa app and disabled the skill.  Then forced closed both the sonos app and the alexa app. The first peculiarity is when I enable the sonos app again and link it is that Alex discovers the players and adds them plus creates groups for each of the players. Has it always done that?  However, I cannot seem to get back to the point where I can create a kitchen group and have my stereo pair as the default speakers.   I
