The iPhone app connection to our Play:1 and Play:3 got screwed up, such that I had to go thru the reset process of temporarily connecting one of them to the router via Ethernet.  That only partially worked, and various attempts to correct it finally got them both working, but with the Play:1 on my Sonos account and the Play:3 on my wife’s Sonos account.  But after logging out of the app on either/both iPhones, it won’t let us log into the other account - demands the credentials for the account we just logged out of.  How to fix/workaround this?

Hi,I’ve a ZP80 that I’ve kept around to use the line-in input for a turntable. I have not used this for a while, (and it worked perfectly in the past), but when I try to use it now it does not work, I can’t get audio from the ZP80 tline-in o other Sonos speakers in the house. The ZP80 is showing that Line-in is connected, but no audio. Thanks,Ian

I recently refurbed my kitchen/dinner. As per diagram I am having real difficulty with getting enough sound from the in ceiling speakers to reach my seating area, which is around 8 metres from the TV (65inch).The in ceiling speakers give perfect sound but not to my seating position.I have play one either side of the seating area, to provide the surround side,  but normal TV dialogue sound doesn’t come out from these, unless its music,  or in 5.1, even then it’s very limitedI  think I should have positioned the ceiling speakers above the seating area - but I haven’tIdeally I want the tv sound to come from the play ones, as I can’t move the ceiling speakers. Is this possible? or any other solutions much appreciated.If I turn sonos off and use the TVs internal speakers the sound is adequate, but this defeats the objective of having the system in the first place. Thank you in advance. 

I see that similar questions have been asked in the past, but I’m wondering if there is any update. I own a few houses, each has multi zone Levitan audio systems in them which I hate. I would love to replace my 12 zone and 16 zone house systems with a similar Sonos system without having to buy 30+ connect amps. Are you developing a multi zone system, or is one of your partners developing a Sonos compatible multi zone system?

 i have four architectural speakers that i am planning to hang them facing down from the ceiling - on the rafters of this covered patio. there will be 4 speakers for a total coverage of 330 sq ft (rectangular 12ft x 33 ft ) sized patio. Is this a good orientation for these speakers ?

Hi -- wondering if anyone has any insight into this, and how to overcome it. I have two paired Sonos 1 speakers paired to play in stereo. I’d originally named them Office when I set them up, but then I moved them into my kitchen. I’ve renamed the pair “Kitchen” via the app on my phone and on my laptop, and at first the change seems to take. Then, usually the next time I go to play something on them, the name has reverted back to Office. I’d thought maybe this was a bug related to the speakers having been added to my Alexa setup, so I disabled the sonos skill on alexa, renamed them to Kitchen, then re-enabled the sonos skill and re-added the speakers. Same thing, in Alexa they first show up as the new name but then revert back to being named Office.  Anyone know how I can make this name change permanent? Thanks! 

Among all the units I have, I have two PlayBars. They're good, but I find there isn't much stereo image. I think this is purely because the L and R speaker sets are close together.My suggestion is that for this product and any stereo pair you have an option to enhance the stereo.This can easily be done in DSP by matrixing to L+R and L-R, increasing the gain of the L-R, then matrixing back to L and R.Maybe an option in the app - ideally with an ‘amount’ setting which would control the amount of extra gain applied in DSP to the L-R.There are cleverer ways of enhancing stereo, like only amplifying the L-R when there’s a peak, but I think for most situations, the simple approach would work well.Then we could 'widen' the stereo image. 

Hello everyone!!!I recently got gifted a Sonos One gen 2 with incorporated Alexa, and I also got gifted a Vankyo projector 430 Leisure (I love Chrismas), I thought that it would make sense for me to get an Amazon firestick to stream content, since the Sonos had Alexa incorporated but for some reason I can’t get the projectors audio to come out through the Sonos. I am not tech savvy at all so please give me the “for dummies” version I thank you in advance for your answers 

Hi, i have new sonos arc (replaced old sonos soundbar).Im not able connect it throught HDMI ARC with LG60UH8507. Diagnostic number 1316800750, i have tried almost everything to solve it. Please help. Atmos was the reason for new sonos arc.Thanks for help, Michal.  

This seems to be a common issue so forgive me if I am duplicating threads….We have brand new Beam and unable to set it up either wirelessly or on ethernet.I have tried all suggestions i.e. reboot router, reboot & factory set Beam etcWe have n existing Sonos system and I have had training so am now at a miss with why it will not allow us to set it up. It is nothing obvious. After trawling the internet we have run out of ideas. Very disappointing but if anybody has any other ideas we could try I would love to hear.

Hello wise people.We have an S1 system in the house which has a Bridge, Play:3 and Connect connected to the home wifi. I have the S1 controller app on my phone.I bought a Sonos One for my new home office but the S1 app can’t find it, even when I’m holding my phone next to it.So I downloaded S2 intending to set up a completely new system just for my home office (obviously on the same wifi). It keeps redirecting me to use the S1 controller or ‘set up a new system’ but then doesn’t give me this option.Could it be that my iPhone 6plus is too old to support the S2 controller? Or is there something else I’m missing?Thanks for any help.Emma

I bought an album this week from the iTunes store with 54 tracks.  All of the files are in the same folder, but only 38 appear in my Sonos Music Library.  When I buy music, I copy it to a flash drive plugged into my router which is what Sonos accesses.  All 54 files are the same type (m4a) and there are about 7,500 files in my library.  I’ve selected “update music library now” multiple times.  I’m using S2.  This is very frustrating.  Any ideas?  Please help!

Dear Sonos team, I have a 2x play 1 , 1x play 5 and these are connected via a bridge. Since a couple of weeks,  the Sonos app losses the connection to my Spotify account but I can always play Spotify via Spotify direct connection but in the app itself it seems like Sonos has lost the complete connection to my account incl. All tune  in radio stations and everything connected to the account. Sometimes it just takes a while and then it works .. Also, often Spotify tracks are jumped over when I have opened the album in the Sonos app.. I have done all the tips , from changing the channel, over restarting router but it came out the same. I even reconnected the account to the Sonos system .. Can you please help me ?  Best regards, Simon 

I am trying to connect my Move to my existing Sonos system, It will find the MOVE but when I go to the next step it says unable to connect. The move sometimes has a blinking red light sometimes white, sometimes green..I am ready to return this…

Hi, appreciate any help or ideas on this one.  Are there any known limits in regards to the Google or Alexa voice assistant commands available on a Sonos One?Sonos One with Google Voice Assistant cannot seem to handle many of the commands that a Google Home Mini sitting right next to it can.  Examples include home automation commands like “turn on my lights” or routines I would want to run by name.  Google Assistant on Sonos will inform me that “that device is not set up yet but can be on Google Home.  etc.” where again, a Google device has no issues.Known issues here or additional configurations that I can make?Thank you for any ideas.Sam 

After the latest update of my Sonos S1, I can no longer connect to my music on my NAS drive (a WD PR2100). The path is still showing in my Sonos settings, but doesn’t recognize it. Then I tried adding the NAS drive folder again, but the "Next button" does not become available, when entering the folders server address. How can I connect my music? I rebooted everything, and also checked the firewall settings. The issue is the same on 3 different computers.

Took delivery of a new TV today and hooked everything up. Sound fine BUT when watching the football with crowd noise the audio dropped intermittently throughout. Changing to the no crowd noise channel, audio perfect. The Beam is connected via HDMI Arc.  Sound set to pass through and the E-Arc on or off didn’t appear to make any difference. Any suggestions?  FWIW connected via HDMI3. Almost like too much happening was overwhelming the speaker. Connected to two Play1 for surround. Any help appreciated - I’m not particularly experienced in the audio settings so have read several threads before appealing!

HiOn software 12.2.4 the latest and none of my speakers will allow me to adjust volume limit, it allows me to slide to slider down or up but just defaults to 100 as soon as I release my finger off screen!Has anyone else encountered same problem?This is on Arc set up, beam set up and playbase set up on both my iPhone and iPad  TIA    

Hi every body, I connected my sonos soundbar Sonos Arc to my samsung qled 65q95t TV (with the cable supplied by sonos) on the HDMI-ARC port. But I have sound cutoff problems, and even sometimes permanent sound cutoff! I have to unplug my soundbar or reinistialized the settings. My firmware under TizenOS is 1460. What to do, best regards

Just received my SONOS beam and tried to set up the Google Assistant. Followed the steps in the SONOS app, but when i go to connect to either Google or Alexa, I get a ‘There was a problem adding Google Assistant’. I have tried everything I can think of - reset the device, deleted the app and re-installed - but nothing seems to work. I’ve successfully connected the device to my Google Home, so can play Spotify from it, but that is only through my Google mini. Any ideas please? 

Hi all. Followed the other instructions and threads to get the magic remote working with my optically connected playbar. It works for the volume switches but not the mute button.  any ideas?

Just downloaded the s2 app, starting it, tells me that i need an update ‘Sonos found on this netwerk, update your system...’When i hit update i have to login. After login, nothing happens… no update, no error, no message, nothing. I cannot get past this point, it keeps asking me to update and then to login…Unplugging my play:1's and playbar doesn't helpSee also s2-setup-issue-6845804 

Zones not working - See diagnostic 278805265.  A couple of the zones won't work when merged into a group (e.g. Lounge and Red Guest Room and office).  They work when I run them individually, but if they are merged into a group they don't work.Any help would be appreciatedThanksMatt

I cannot request Alexa to start /stop a music service from iheart radio. I can manually select it from my phone. All other voice controls work. Eg timers, volume up / down and questions.I have reinstalled voice control several times with no fix.Any help work be greatly appreciated Leigh

Hi there,I have an Arc and a Sub in my cart, but given my 2008 Panasonic plasma only supports PCM/Dolby Digital via fibre optic digital out, I’m wondering if it will pass the Switch’s LPCM to the Arc or not.As I understand it, PCM and LPCM are the same, but I’m still a bit concerned the TV will only pass stereo to the Arc, and I’m not sure I want the added complexity and expense of one of these HDFury deals.Very much appreciate any insight or replies.
