How will the two Sonos Play speakers behave in stereo mode, but connected by a USB-C/AUX adapter to TV?
I bought 10k worth of Sonos and now none of the Move 2’s stay connected for more than a day. I call support daily and they have no fixes. They say it is WiFi related because that places the blame on someone else. I don’t buy it. Before I spend 10k on another solution and take joy in burning my Sonos equipment and posting on YouTube+ I wonder if others have recommendations.
I have two sonos moves and two sonos ones... I'd love for them all to be in a zone, but the moves aren't listed in the products that are compatible? Why? The moves give great base and work well as good base drivers in liu of a dedicated sub, which is why I went with it. Sure, yes, I can do a Group, but this gives flakey reliability when using Spotify, so I'd love to setup a zone. Is there a future where the move can be added to this list?https://support.sonos.com/en/article/set-up-a-zone-for-multiple-sonos-products
How to return in application "new" feature - the ability to enable Auto Trueplay in Android application? (If you have turned off Auto Trueplay in the app, you will not be able to turn it on again either in the app or via the touchpad on the speaker) I have Sonos Move×4,Sonos Roam×2.
Hi, I need help with a persistent AirPlay issue that now only affects my Roam SL.What works:Era 300 appears in AirPlay after router reboot. HomePod Mini works normally. Roam SL is reachable on LAN by IP. Roam SL responds on Sonos API port 1400.What does not work:Roam SL does not appear as an AirPlay target. Roam SL does not appear in RAOP browse either. Factory reset + firmware update did not fix it.Network and device context:OpenWrt router, subnet 192.168.5.0/24. Era 300 at 192.168.5.226, Roam SL at 192.168.5.172. Mac is on same subnet, direct reachability is good. Router reboot restored Era behavior but not Roam.Diagnostics already performed:dns-sd browse:Era/HomePod show in _airplay._tcp and _raop._tcp. Roam missing repeatedly.Roam direct checks:ping OK. HTTP on 1400 OK. AirPlay service endpoint on 7000 responds.Sonos API checks:DeviceProperties schema contains AirPlayEnabled. /status/airplay returns 200. /reboot endpoint returns forbidden on current firmware.Comparison result:Era a
I have a ROAM network at home, however I’m in the South Pacific on a cruise right now. I brought our ROAM 1st gen speaker with us. My iPhone connects fine to the ROAM across bluetooth. Just prior to our departure, I bought a new iPad. The iPad did not have the Sonos app loaded, which I’ve now done. The iPad cannot “see” the ROAM as it was never connected to the home SONOS network. Is it even remotely possible to use the ROAM Bluetooth settings buried in my iPhone, and manually create a connection from the new iPad to the ROAM? Many TIA!
So it was dead. But though a bit of googleing i got it to show charging... but now it never seems to charge and will not turn on even if plugged in. Any suggestions!?
What does the exclamation sign in the battery signal mean?Sometimes when my Roam2 is loading the batterie at the batterie sign appears an exclamation sign instead the flash which indicates the batterie is loading, on both cases (the flash & the exclamation sign) the percentage of batterie appears on aside. Thanks for your help.
Hi,I’ve two parallel systems - S1 app running some ZP80s and Gen 1 Play 3s, and S2 app for Move 2, Play 5 Gen 2 and Roam. I have a Move 1 which its just easier to have on the S1 app but tonight the S1 app is now stuck in an update loop; “requires update”, click “not now” and just goes back to the list of zones with the Move showing the spanner and “Needs update”. It’s also occasionally looping a screen telling me all my devices are S2 compatible and suggesting I open the S2 app to control them. That’s obviously wrong and will end up bricking my ZPs and probably my Gen 1 Play 3s. Not sure why this suddently started happening. Any ideas gratefully received ThanksDave
Can I listen music by wire using Sonos roam via adapter?
I am trying to connect my Audio Technica AT-LP60XBT turntable via bluetooth to my Sonos Roam2 (which works fine) but when I try to group it with my ARC sytem or my Play1 the bluetooth connection between the turntable and Roam2 seems to disconnect, even though the BT blue light still shows it is connection. Prior to grouping the Roam2 with either the ARC or Play1, the BT connection is working and the Roam2 is playing the audio from the turntable. Am I doing something wrong to get the turntable signal to come through the Roam2 to get to the ARC and Play1 (grouping all speakers together) or is this something that the Sonos 2 app cannot do?
I have a new server and new desktop. Last night, I was able to connect my Play3 to Sonos - plays the services I have set up.However, when I go to connect a separate Play3, I keep getting the message “we couldn’t find any Sonos products on you mobile device’s network so we can set up the Play3.I have rebooted Router, modem, iphone, hard reset the Play3, but to no avail.Help!Don Jones
I just got a roam 2 into add airplay and Bluetooth capabilities to my play :1s. I think I have the roam 2 and play:1s grouped. they all play music together from the sonos app. But if I try to play music via Bluetooth or AirPlay (like on my phone via Apple Music), the roam drops from the speaker group and plays alone. the whole reason I got the roam 2 was to be able to use Bluetooth with my system. Can someone help me? I’ve been looking at help articles but have not been able to figure it out.
Straight out of the box, I have had ongoing issues with these speakers and this is not a comprehensive list!! Frequent updates required, resulting in speakers not working; Frequent loss of connectivity, drop outs, etc. resulting in needing to reconnect each time I wish to play music and during music playback; Speakers not stereo pairing, and never working at the same time when grouped; Inability to run all speakers at the same time (i.e. the sound bar in a separate room) even when not in stereo / groups; Latency in volume adjustments (sometimes up to around 30 seconds or more, or not at all); Latency in music changes, or not at all, and inability to reset the app; Inability to change music being played as the app would not update to the current playlist / music being played; and Lack of availability of support, including emailing the CEO, to assist with resolving issues (online / phone support unavailable). They can’t even call you back when they commit to. In short, th
We moved and i configured the two sonos moves [version 1) with no issues. My move version 2 doesn't respond
I have several ROAM and ERAs in my home system. One of my ROAM started playing at supper low volume. Maxing it out, either manually or through the app, it doesn't play at even half the volume as other ROAMs in my system. What could the issue be?
I have Sonos Move speakers, they're not working. The LED is always solid red, not blinking. I already replaced the battery with a new one and it's still the same. I've tried several reset methods and nothing works. I really don't want to lose this speaker. Any recommendations other than buying a new one, okay?
I’ve had my Sonos Roam SL for a few years now and surprisingly with no issues just minor quirks. Well, over the holidays I bought the dual port compact 35W Apple charger, and started experiencing some weird behavior. When I plug in the cable (I’ve tried a few genuine Apple USB-C-USB-C cables with the same result), the Roam continuously flashes orange. In the app, the Roam also shows a flashing charging symbol in sync with the flashing light. Interestingly, the Roam still charges to 100% eventually, but it keeps flashing the entire time. Most annoying of all though, is that if I turn the Roam off after plugging it in, it soon turns itself back on, as it would if you were to plug it in when it is turned off. So the power supply to the Roam just seems to be cycling with the dual port charger...My first thought was that it could be a counterfeit charger, but it appears to be a genuine Apple charger. It is rated for 5V/3A, among others, and is quite clearly USB PD rated. Until now, I’ve kep
It always did but went flat whilst i was away and wont reconnect. I used the sonos all to reset the network and rebooted . It still will not show as connected.
My Sonos Move has a steady green light. It will not connect to Wi-Fi and does not show up on Bluetooth Seems I have done a reset to no avail. Any suggestions would be very helpful
I’ve recently updated my Sonos Move (1 gen)-S2 to latest software. I use it as speaker connecting via Bluetooth to google TV streamer 4K. I have no issue prior to update for 4 years of usage. But after the update, everytime i pause and resume video/music playback, the sounds only come out after 5-7 seconds as reported by other users in this thread. I just want to share that i found solution by downgrading it to S1 via the mobile app in case anyone experiencing the same issue and dont want to accept lame answers “it wasn’t designed for video audio over bluetooth”.
Je possède déjà 4 produits Sonos. Et je souhaite acquérir la Move 2.Mais voilà, Trump, Groenland, droits de douane, intimidations…Dommage, ça attendra.
Hi. I like to use my Move (first gen) to connect via Bluetooth to my projector. It sometimes works fine and I can watch all night with no issue but often it will connect, works for 10 seconds, then cuts out. On these occasions no amount of disconnecting and reconnecting or even removing completely and re-adding will work. My question is, what changes on the occasions it works?! I often resort to using a Roam which always works but would obviously prefer the extra oomph of the Move. I have 2 move 1s and both have the same issue. any ideas?
Why is it not possible to see the battery left on the roam 2 on an android device when connected over bluetooth(without using the app or asking vc)? I feel like much cheaper speakers are able to do this, it shouldn’t be a problem. Also, it would be nice to have a battery health page, that shows the maximum available capacity compared to stock.Otherwise pretty satisfied.
Hi Everyone,I have been using YouTube music on my Sonos Move 1 for a very long time. Recently google assistant and YouTube Music stopped working - Say around either later 2025 Dec or Early 2026 Jan. I have had a few issues in the past using YouTube music on Sonos and familiar with the standard fixes like remove accounts and re-authentication google etc,. Som after the remove/add accounts, the Google Assistant works but not YT Music. So this seems to be down to YT Music this time.I use Google Premium family. The Google account I have linked to Sonos is a member account. This account works perfectly on one of the iPhone’s YouTube Music App, so I know YT Music and this account have no issues. This is the same iPhone I used to setup the Sonos App and authenticate YouTube music Services to Sonos. This time around I can’t even play any YT music from the Sonos App. Says “Connection to YouTube was Lost” But YouTube music Apps works on the same device no issues.I found this troubleshooting link
