Sonos “Play” goes to sleep when not being used to conserve the battery. Is there any method remotely awakening it rather than having to push the “on” button the the speaker?

You can disable Battery Saver toggle which will then wake Play when you open the app.

”When Battery Saver is disabled, portable Sonos products will go to sleep after being idle for 30 minutes and will automatically wake up when you open the Sonos app.”

I haven't found one, I leave mine on the charger-base to avoid the shutdown.

Keeping it awake, as above, is also in the user manual, twice. Waking it once it powers down looks to take the button press or putting it on charge.

Battery Saver

Battery Saver preserves battery life when Play is inactive. When enabled, your Play will power off automatically after 10 minutes in sleep mode. You can turn Battery Saver off in the Sonos app.

Go to Settings , and select Play to get started.

Note: Play won't appear in the Sonos app until it’s powered back on.

Battery Saver

(portable products only)

To save battery life, you can set your portable speaker to power off automatically instead of going to sleep. It won't appear in the Sonos app until it’s powered back
