Hey guys! I just bought some products of Sonos. But the only question I have is how the system turn off once we stop using them. It’s automatically? Or I need to do something on the app?  Thank you very much! 

I have the 2021 Samsung QN85Q70AAFXZA Smart TV I am trying to connect to my Playbar.  The remote is either RF or Bluetooth, but as far as I can tell does not have IR.  The web, and an older SONOS post, implies that you can indeed do this, but I cannot make it work.  I have tried everything I can find, but no luck.  I’m unsure how it would even work, honestly, since I don’t know what would emit the IR signal the Playbar needs to work.I’m looking for any options that would get me to an answer.  We like the style of remote that came with the TV, but we’d even be ok if there was another genuine Samsung remote (or one that style) that worked.Any help is appreciated. 

Hello! I bought a Sonos connect for Christmas for my husband in hopes that he could then play his vinyl collection through our Sonos system. We have a One SL, One, Beam and a roam that we use through the Sonos 2 App.  is it possible to connect the Sonos Connect to the receiver so that vinyl can be played through our Sonos speakers? If so, how? Do I have to use S1 to make this happen? Can my other speakers be used through S1?  thank you so much! 

Hiim building a media wall and wanted to build a recess/ niche to put Sonos beam into , leaving approx 50mm gap all around it will this work ok?

I had to reboot my internet router and now my Arc is having issues. I always have problems with this thing and no other devices.So, I have a room set up with the Arc, subwoofer and two rears. I have rebooted the arc… reset it and still have this problem. It was a pain to re-connect the rears and it took several attempts. I set up the system and the arc comes and goes. It’s there sometimes, then disappears and the other devices are in the room but the arc is missing (shows the question mark).It’s not my internet. I have no issues with any Sonos devices in my house. I have two other speakers in another room. The arc is literally 2 feet away from one of mesh points. Has anyone encountered this? It’s totally frustrating. System worked great until I had to reboot my router. 

Hi, I’ve been having constant issues trying to update my beam and can’t use it for many weeks now. She will work alone with TV, but can’t use in 5.1 configuration or send music through it, she’s not part of my system anymore as I can’t do this update.I have the 1013 error message code. I’ve been through all the proposed solution, I’ve factory reset my system several time, nothing will do, can’t update.Here is my diagnostic report : 1410586573 Hope someone can sort this out as it is super annoying… Thanks!

J’ai déjà reçu ma barre de son Beam 2, mais je suis incapable de la connecter! J’ai toujours un message me disant qu’un appareil interfère avec la connexion HDMI.Pourtant, j’ai seulement le décodeur qui est branché dans le HDMI 1.Je dois faire quoi pour me débarasser de cet interférence? 

I have an original LG oled B6 TV which does not have eArc.Currently I am using a Denon 5.1.4 setup and have my sources plugged into the Denon and my 2nd HDMI out into the Syncbox, everything works perfectly.Is the HDMI on the Arc bi directional?Would this workSources-SyncBox-Arc-TVAs from my understanding going this other route loses me Hi Res audioSources-SyncBox-TV-Arc as wouldSources-TV-SyncBox-ARC which would also render the syncbox useless

Beam has been connected to LG tv, ARC input for about 3 months. On about 1/12/21 there was a Virgin Media tv outage, which appeared to coincide with an LG software update. The TV & VM box had to be powered off to reset. Since then the Beam cannot be reconnected. Error msg “A device is interfering with the hdmi connection” - But nothing is connected, all is as was before the VM outage 

Arc + SL surrounds + gen 3 sub. loud pop then loss of sound while on Apple TV. Had to come out of the source and then went back in and it worked. happened 3 x today in total. Each time with Atmos audio. Concerned about damaging the speakers.  my diagnostic confirmation number is: 1582558006.

Hi, all. Would appreciate any support on this issue. I have a brand new Beam Gen 2 hooked up to my Sony XBR900 TV via eARC. I have an Apple TV 4K hooked up via HDMI to my Sony TV. I am using all high capacity HDMI Cables. When I listen to music via my Apple TV using Apple Music service on the ATV, I get a loud popping noise and then the playback stops. I have to hit the select button on the ATV remote to get the playback to work.I have unplugged the Beam Gen 2 for a few minutes and reset it - still get the popping sound.Anybody else have this problem? Hey:I started to use my Sonos system for surround sound.Since I switched from stereo to surround sound, my Sub started to make a low-frequency popping sound. I think this happens whenever the system enables surround sound.I submitted a diagnostics report: 1110098891It would be great if I could get some help.Best wishes,Martin

I have the latest Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) and a new 2021 65” Samsung Q70A tv and a Sonos ARC paired with two Sonos one SL’s.  When using the native apps on the Samsung TV everything work great.  I get Dolby Atmos sound with the apps that support is and the sound is fantastic.  When I use the Apple TV 4K, I consistently have issues with the audio dropping.  We use the DirecTV Stream app the most, and the problem occurs there a lot.  This was also the case when it was AT&T TV.  When starting the app, sometimes there is no audio and if we keep changing channels, it eventually will work, but then stop again sporadically.  Also sometime the sound works fine at startup, but will drop when changing channels.  All devices are up to date with firmware and I have tried every combination of settings and recommendations from Sonos, Samsung and Apple forums.  Does anyone have this same setup (or similar) and have a solution?

I have a Sonos ARC that was prefessionally installed on my LG 65UN8500AUJ about 5 months ago. It worked fine until last week. Then stopped sensing the TV. I have reset it three times and that works until I turn off the TV. Next time I turn the TV on the TV icon is not available on my iPhone App. I have to reset it again. What happened?

I hesitate to even suggest this solution, as for many months my LG CX 55 inch OLED (OLED55CXAUA) randomly stopped outputting ARC audio to my [Sonos Beam Gen1 + Play:1x2] system requiring me to physically unplug the Beam’s HDMI cable from HDMI Port 2 on the TV multiple times a week. The TV would just output to its internal speakers while completely ignoring the Sonos setup until I re plugged it in. I was getting to the point of worrying about the TV’s HDMI port 2 getting worn out.All prior suggested solutions on this website have been temporary at best, but I seem to have found a durable solution that has lasted me the past four weeks of regular usage, found by reading multiple posts about this issue and parsing together a solution through trial and error. Of note, I first thought this was an Apple TV / LG CX / Beam problem, but I have realized after changing multiple settings on my Apple TV 4K Gen 2 (tvOS 15.1 with output forced to Dolby 5.1) over many months that it was a red herring 

Hello. I own both a Sonos One and a Sonos One SL. One of them is in my living room, the other is in my bedroom. I’m having issues with my Sonos One, which is the one in my bedroom. If I’m listening to music on my One SL, and I press the “play/pause” button on my One, it will give me an “error sound” and blink orange 9 out of 10 times. If I have manually connected and played music on it within the last half an hour, it will accept the “play” command, but there will be a buffer of 20-30 seconds before any music is played through the speaker. I have a brand new Asus RT-AC86U router, so wifi connection should not be a problem, also the One in my bedroom is no more than 3-4 meters from my router, with only a wall between them (which doesn’t have anything inside it interfering with the wifi connection). I don’t have the same problem on my One SL. It will play music instantly whenever I press play, and if I’m switching from listening on my One to my One SL (in my living room), it will never g

Hi, all. Seems like quite a few of us on this board are having issues with loud popping during Atmos or other codec playback. I have read each thread on this board with no resolution from Sonos offered. I see this problem going back as far as Nov 2020.Here’s my suggestion: Write an accurate/truthful review on social media or the review board of where you purchased the product from. Let other potential buyers know that this problem is out there and has not been addressed by Sonos.Maybe when Sonos sees these accurate/truthful (yet negative) reviews of their product we will get some fixes from Sonos.For me, I will be posting my review on Crutchfield and Twitter.

Hi SonosHow easy is it for guests who come to my house to play their own music?Is it simple? Hi all, I recently upgraded to both a new TV, along with my recently purchased sonos arc and sub gen 3 I have had for a few months.My TV is a Philips 65PUS7556/12 65 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV. It said it has atmos sound along with E-arc hence my decision to buy it. I currently have a SkyQ box connected with premium Netflix plan. I use this for Netflix.The main question I have is, does my current setup enable me to have dolby atmos. Is it absolutely essential to have rear speakers added to my current setup for atmos to be enabled, and will this in turn show up on my sonos app? Can the arc and sub gen 3 give a true atmos experience just by itself? Kind regards. 

I’ve never had Sonos equipment, but am looking to simplify my setup and am very interested. What I’m looking at doing is getting a new TV and get rid of my huge TV stand that houses a standard 5.1 receiver setup. I’d like to instead wall mount the TV and a sound bar and get rid of the equipment that takes up floor space. What I’m planning is:65” LG C1 OLED TV wall mounted Sonos Arc soundbar wall mounted Sonos Amp connected to my outdoor speakers (Klipsh AW-650’s) Probably not important for this question, but a small cabinet or wall mounted shelf to house my internet modem, router, and Sonos Amp. My questions are:What would the recommended wiring/connections be for this setup? I’ve gathered that I’ll use the HDMI 2.1 connection between the TV and soundbar, but it’s unclear to me how the rest should be connected (although I’m hoping they’re just all connected wirelessly through my home network).  What is my interface for controlling my outdoor speakers? Hi, all. i recently purchased a Beam Gen 2 to pair with my AppleTV 4k and Sony TV. While a show is playing or while I am listening to music, I get a loud pop noise and the TV turns off. Very annoying and problematic. Any suggestions? Thanks, Paul

I have the arc/sub setup with my new Samsung QN84 through the E-arc port. I have my Apple TV 4K plugged into HDMI port 1. If I watch any content on Netflix, Disney + that has Atmos audio, everything works perfectly fine and sounds incredible. However, if I then go to play a show that is not Atmos quality, “sometimes” the audio does not come through at all. “sometimes” it does play in Multichannel 5.1 as it should. It seems to be very buggy and inconsistent. I have tried multiple HDMI cables, all HDMI ports other than the E-arc where the Arc is connected, and the issue remains. The TV settings I have are HDMI-earc Mode on auto and Digital Output Audio Format to Pass-Through.  If I turn Atmos off on the Apple TV and select 5.1, everything plays completely fine with zero issues. Unfortunately Apple support seems clueless on this, so hoping somebody here has seen this issue and has a recommendation that could prevent me from having to manually turn Atmos on when I want to watch certain con

Hi sonos experts, I have a set up with sonos beam 2 and a pair of one, for the surrounding sound, I wonder when I am playing music, and the music is stereo, is this surrounding set up just playing stereo sound from the main speaker which is Beam here, then what is the sound coming from the two rare speaker? part of the stereo sound?  thank you for answering
