Sonos Move with What Soundbar? in RV

Hello- We have Sonos Play Sound Bars that we use at home in out bedroom and living room along with Ones in the bedroom and Threes in the living room.We also have 2 Moves that I will use to take into the backyard to play music throughout our yard along with th house Sonos speakers.We have an older RV that I would like to add a Sonos Beam or Ray ( due to the smaller size) that I can use our Moves with.  My problem is that we won’t have WiFi except as a HotSpot from mt Verizon phone. First- is there a soundbar that I can use as a BlueTooth and add the two Moves  to it - OR if that won’t work… How would I use my 2 Moves with a Soundbar  oe aomwthing that is hooked up to our TV and add the Moves?Thanks in Advance!

Audio Delay

I am losing the will to live now as I have tried various recommended audio extractor boxes and am still having a audio delay through my speaker system. I am trying to use a projector with my Sonos system but my audio is way behind and cant seem to find anything to sort this issue.I did have a little success with connecting my amp to a sky multi box (through the ARC HDMI) however this isn't very practical but at least it worked. I am really hoping someone can help as after spending a considerable amount on the amp plus ceiling speakers I would love to get a solution.

Sound mute on LG over ARC with SONOS Amp

Hi,I have recently installed LG G2 screen along with SONOS AMP and both are connected via HDMI ARC on HDMI port 2.i have 2 x HDMI sources (Apple Tv & Dish Tv) which are connected with the LG screen by using HDMI port 1 & HDMI port  2.Once SONOS amp configured properly with the LG screen but after a couple of minutes mute showed on the LG screen and audio muted. in this scenerio if i select the TV speakers, sound comes from the tv speakers properly but on ARC it gets muted.Then i unplug the Dish tv HDMI and after couple of seconds sound comes from the ARC.Please advise.

Vizio TV PCM Stereo only

Good morning everyone. New Sonos user here. Just received my Arc, Sub, and 2 OneSL’s yesterday. Hooked everything up and I am pretty impressed so far. I am coming from a bulky klipsch/denon setup, and while it sounded good, we had a little living room refresh, and this was the best solution. My issue:Vizio tv-E601I-A3 60 inch (from 201-too old?). Spectrum cable box. Samsung blu-ray.The issue that I am experiencing, is when playing a blu-ray (mad max: fury rd) the app says that I am in PCM Stereo. I plugged the tv into the ARC port (hdmi 1-no EARC). I tried all the different audio settings on my tv and blu-ray with no change. Interestingly, sound still comes from the back speakers while the movie is playing. But the app does not show 5.1 or ATMOS at all. TV too old?While on my cable input, I get 5.1 from that, but I am not sure if my cable box is forcing that to happen.The tv is still really nice. 4k, 120hz. I hate to buy another one just to have my surrounds work properly, but sinking

Audio problems cant get to the proper response

Can you help, I stream with Paramount+ on Apple TV, a current tv show and get Dolby 5.1 audio. However if I stream Maverick same way I only get PCM 2.0. If I stream either the tv show or the movie  from the smart LG TV the best I can ever get is PCM 2.0Any ideas?

Been having trouble controlling your TV and Sonos with your Apple TV remote?

You may want to install the latest version of the Apple TV software (16.3.3)See here:https://9to5mac.com/2023/03/06/apple-tv-siri-remote-connectivity-fix/This disconnection issue would stop sending commands to your TV set, which normally passes those on to your Sonos Arc, Beam, or Amp via HDMI-CEC. If the remote isn’t communicating properly with the Apple TV, it can’t send those commands to your TV set.

Dolby Atmos not showing on Netlix app for Apple TV 4K? Solved

Hi all,I can’t believe I didn’t find this anywhere on the forums so posting for others. I currently have the LG C2 with the Sonos Arc and Apple TV 4K.Here are the settings you specifically need to get Dolby Atmos to show as an option in Netflix:LG C2Digital audio output > Pass ThrougheARC Support > On Apple TV 4KVideo and Audio > Audio Format > Dolby Atmos On For most people this should be all you need to do. If you notice that Dolby Atmos is showing in other apps or your TVs own OS through Netflix but not Apple TV Netflix then do this: Find a movie you know for sure has Dolby Atmos and start the movie. (It will say 5.1 but start it anyways) once the movie has started select different audio tracks with your Apple Remote. Eventually it should change to Dolby Atmos and when you go back all of your Netflix shows will now be labeled to Dolby Atmos if applicable. You can verify this with your Sonos app that it’s working. Idk if this is a bug on Apple, Netflix, or Sonos but I hop

Trying to connect the Sonos Arc to Samsung Frame wirelessly

Have recently purchased the Sonos Arc and am trying to connect to my new Samsung Frame TV wirelessly. Have not been successful in doing so as yet. Tried via the firestick but that doesnt work either. Was sold this product on the pretext that everything can be connected through wifi… Please help.

Sonos ARC with LG OLED sound output resets

My SONOS ARC has been very unstable for the past 3 months on my LG OLED CX tv.Every day when I turn the TV on, there’s a 50% chance of the TV reverting its audio output to the internal speakers.Tried a different cable and tried to disconnect every other device. Tried to reset the SONOS and the TV, all without luck.Diagnostics 679505560, the issue happened within 2 minutes of this diagnostic report.

Sonos Arc only works with Apple TV after reboot

I have a Toshiba FireTV with Apple TV 4K plugged into the HDMI 2. Sonos Arc is plugged into the HDMI Arc. Audio is only transferred to the Sonos Arc after I unplug and plug in the TV power. If I play Spotify  through the Sonos app on the Arc I am not able to get Audio from the TV again without rebooting the TV. I found a work around when using the Apple TV 4K and using airplay for Apple TV 4K audio. However, I am not able to airplay the Audio from Apple Arcade as Apple Arcade does not show up under now playing. In order to get the audio to the Sonos Arc I need to unplug the TV, plug back in, and wait for the fireTV to reboot. I would appreciate any help. Thank you

home kit query

hi there.  we’ve moved into a house with an old Sonos amp powering our kitchen ceiling speakers. we’re running it off S1 along with two rooms of IKEA bookshelf Sonos speakers. if we purchase a new sonos amp will that just plug in and power the ceiling speakers? then if we purchase a Beam 2 bundle with sub, could that work alongside the IKEA bookshelf speakers already in that room  for surround sound? thanks!

Beam + One SL, surround sound doesn't work over ethernet

Hello, here is my setup: x1 Beam over Wifix2 One SL over Wifi + Ethernet I want my One SLs to only use Ethernet. Last week, I did put my One SLs over Ethernet and disabled Wi-Fi from both of them with the SONOS app. Since then, the surround sound stopped working (it is not a TV problem, I tested with a few SONOS radio stations).  It’s only the surround that doesn’t work though, because I can still use the controls on them, increasing/decreasing volume etc, it controls the whole setup. On the app they are not displaying any error. Also, sometimes the status light stays green. I read that it means it is muted but increasing the volume from the app itself or from any of the One SL doesn’t change anything. I tried, turning them off and on a few times. I also removed them from the app and did re-set them up. Nothing works, except when I turn the Wifi back on, everything goes back to normal. Didn’t find a similar problem over the internet. What could be the problem? Thank you,Loris.

Playbar with surrounds (One) and Dolby digital: Sound dropouts/stuttering

Hello all,The following problem: I bought a refurbished Playbar via the Sonos Store and set it up in the living room with 2 Sonos One (Gen 1) as surrounds. Everything has worked so far. However, as soon as I watch normal TV or a movie in Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1, I clearly hear sound dropouts/ stuttering in both Surround Ones. The Sonos App shows Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1. With normal stereo sound (stereo PCM,) the problem doesn't exist.The following settings/connections:Router: FritzBox 6590 cable Playbar is the only component connected to LAN via cable.All players show WM:0The Playbar also shows OTP:Sonos Net channel: 6WLAN 2.4 GHz runs on channel 1 (not Auto)WLAN 5 GHz runs on channel 40 (not Auto)All components have fixed IP addressesTV is a LG OLED65BX9Connection: Playbar directly via optical cable to the TVOLED TV settings: Audio output is set to optical, and digital audio output: "pass-through" (bitstream).The problem only exists when the audio output ("Digital Audio Output" sett

Issues with TCL Series 8 mini LED and Arc

I have the TCL 8 Series Roku Mini LED 65” TV with Sonos Arc, everything is up to date firmware and having issues. First, the sound regularly doesn’t work until I play/pause the show, then it works.  True of many apps on Roku.  I am using the HDMI cable Sonos supplied, with the ARC HDMI.When I play Xbox Series X, the dialogue is out of sync in the game by perhaps 1 second.  Why would this be?  Does the HDMI cable matter?  Or the length of it?3rd issue is that no sound comes out of the optical port, perhaps bc the ARC HDMI is now being used? I used headphones with the optical out of the TV but now they won’t work.  Any way to get this to work again?  A lot of tradeoffs so far for the Arc--would I have all the same issues with the Bose 600/900?Thanks

Sub Gen 3 bought in UK doesn’t turn on

I bought a Sonos subwoofer in London and brought it to my house in Brazil. When I plugged the cord into the outlet it sounded like the sub had not turned on. The Status Light didn’t come on and the Sub did not show up in the Sonos app, so it couldn’t be connect. Now I see that on the plug cord is written 250v and not Auto-switching 100 - 240V ~ 50-60 Hz 2 A AC universal input. Can I use another cord to plug the sub to the 127v outlet? Could anyone help me to connect the sub? I already have a Sonos Play 5 and a Sonos 5 connected through the app in my iPhone.

non-Sonos surrounds with Arc

I have a setup with an Arc, Sonos Sub, and non-sonos in-ceiling rear speakers connected with an Amp. I know the rear speakers and Amp work because if I set them as a separate channel I can play music through them. When I connect the Amp to the Arc + Sub as Surrounds it works in the app, but even if I turn “surround volume” up in the Sonos app I don’t seem to be getting any volume from the rear speakers. Any ideas?

Huge delay Sonos Beam with Xgimi Elfin projector

To all who use a Sonos product in combination with an Xgimi projector: Does anyone have a fix for the big audio delay? I use an Xgimi Elfin projector with a Sonos Beam Gen2 over HDMI. In the HDMI or sound settings of the projector, I have HDMI eARC set to "Auto" and sound set to "Passthrough". Dolby 5.1, DTS 5.1 and even Dolby Atmos is correctly passed on to the Beam and correctly displayed in the App during playback. However, there is a significant audio delay of several seconds. No matter which App is used (tested with Plex and YouTube). If you change the sound settings from "Passthrough" to "PCM", you get less delay. However, still a bit but not as annoying. Unfortunately the signal converts to stereo and loses noticeably in dynamics and volume. Anyone have an idea?
