Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

My Sonos move is plugged in, connected via Bluetooth to my Spotify app on my phone. When i press any button on my speaker, it responds but there is no sound no matter what i do. Any help will do. Hope is not a hardware issue.

I used to have a Cocktail Audio X10 device connected as my Sonos Music Library to stream my 50,000+ tracks. This stopped working some while ago and I believe it is to do with it using SMBv1.Since then I have connected the X10’s back-up 2TB drive and connected it via a USB hard drive bay and set it as a share and then mapped it to Sonos as my Music Library. Two days ago this worked, but it was my back-up drive that was out of date I wanted to use the actual X10 drive. I removed this, set up the share and defined it to Sonos. Nothing, it does not seem to recognise it even though it is shared and defined correctly. Tried back to the back-up drive and that does not work now either. The only thing that does work is if I define the music directory on my laptop, which only has a few albums in it..Any suggestions to resolve gratefully accepted as I currently am unable to listen to all my  music.

Hi, I am having an issue with my Sonos Ace when listening to some music - very distinctly happens in the right ear (extremely subtle) but there is definitely some buzzing/distortion. Anyone think that there could be a hardware issue? I tried turning off ANC, and also plugged the headphones in as well and the issue still persists.

The desktop app sucks all of the sudden.  Please fix this and revert to local controls.  Theres no benefit to me to be cloud connected to Sonos servers in order to use the software for the devices i purchased.  No one asked for this and frankly, its unacceptable.

I know there are a lot of forum responses on this - but what is the fix for Apple Music not wanting to play consistently from within the Sonos S2 app?? I rrauthorize daily and it still is very sensitive if I can get it playing at all. In addition, the AirPlay says it’s unable to connect as well. I have Sonos Arc, amps, Five etc and most recent software. 

Does any one know of a compatible EU USB-C wall adapter for the move 2 charging dock?   i bought a move 2 in the USA last week and took it home to Germany and unfortunately none of my adapters are working with it (lights blinking red).  I contacted Sonos sales and they said they don’t sell them and linked me buy an entire new base for 80 euros. Which is insane to me. I Was very disappointed with their customer care.    so can somebody tell me what wall plug I could buy that would be compatible with the charging dock?   I’ve already tried apples with no luck.

For the past few days I have been unable to pay music from Amazon Music on any of my Sonos speakers. I get an error: “Can’t play “song name”. It’s encoded at unsupported sample rate 3145728000 Hz.”I have tried removing and adding AMZN service. I have the latest App and Firmware updates. (This was happening before and after most recent app update) My AMZN service is working fine on other devices. I have powered off/on each speaker. I have powered off/on my phone and even restarted my Internet connection.Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve? I have searched the FAQs and community and haven’t found anything recent on encoding errors that look like what I’m seeing. Screen grab attached. 

I recently purchased a Brennan B2 with the idea of using it as a whole house music system.  I have connected the Brennan to my receiver to use in one room through the connected speakers, but I was hoping to connect to my Era 100 speakers to use in the rest of my house. The Brennan and speakers are on the same Wi-Fi network but my Brennan doesn’t see the speakers at all. I’ve checked the Wi-Fi signal strength and by Brennan’s requirements, it is good. Is there something that I need to do to get it to find the speakers or is there something I can do to get the streaming function to work? I can stream internet radio on the Sonos so it’s working with my Wi-Fi but not with the Brennan. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. 

I have a house with in-wall/in-ceiling speakers in 4 different rooms plus outdoor for a total of 5 zones. They are connected to a mechanical switch box and then a Denon AVR. The switch can select one or more zones for playing the source audio. Each zone has a wall mounted volume control.I know I can connect these speakers to my Sonos system with Sonos Port but I’d like to see the individual zones in the Sonos App and control the volume using the app. Is there an alternative to the existing “dumb” speaker selector switch that will integrate with Sonos and let me do what I want?Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated!  Thanks in advance. 

After every two or three songs (on Apple Music+ in the Sonos app) the Atmos badge still disappears around 20 seconds into the song. The music reverts to normal stereo.I have frequently called customer service and gone through all the diagnostic steps, restarting etc. I also created a topic on this community page. Sadly after more than 6 months nothing has changed. The topic was even closed for further discussion. I know there are quite a few other Sonos owners with exactly the same problem, and wonder when there finally will be a solution to this extremely irritating and embarassing (when friends come over) situation.

Hi,I did several tests but I can’t getting rid of an issue. My setup:beam2 + two ERA300 as surrond in one room 2 symfonisks placed in other rooms  amp connected to a turntable and a wired speakers in another roomIf I group music (Apple music, turntable…) everything sounds great. If I group the tv audio from the home theatre (beams2+eras) to any other room, audio comes out from the home theatre alone. From the app point of view the groped rooms are fine, I can adjust volumes etc, but audio don’t comes out.  Any suggestion? 

Need some advice currently replacing my soundbar with 4 inputs to the Sonos arc, problem is i only  currently run one hdmi to TV and because that's in the wall i didn't want to run any more externally.Is it possible to connect Xbox/ firestick and sky box to a switch box and then one cable to the Arc?Any help would be grateful

I have two Sonos Connect Amp Gen 1 connected to a pair of KRK Rokit 5” and 8” speakers.  In both cases, there is LOTS of static coming from both speakers.  I paid $40 for two double shields RCA cables, and the static persists.  I’ve read a LOT of threads with people complaining that these Connect Amps produce static.  I’m 99% certain that the issue is with the Sonos Connect Amps, but thought I would ask regardless if anything can be done to eradicate the static.

I am trying to play internet radio station TMM 1 (The Music Machine) on my Sonos system (two Symfonisk and one Play 5) using the S1 app on my iPhone, iPad and Windows laptop (all up to date)It just plays an ad, then “Welcome to TuneIn” then another ad and just keeps repeating. I just added a gen 1 Play:5 via the S1 app. I understand that I can group non airplay devices using the S2 app, but that option is greyed out and unselectable. Is there a way to get this to become ungreyed?

Over 15 years with Sonos. Once again, the App at the point of not useable. I have 9 Sonos components and getting more frustrating every day. When I go online it shows 3 of the nine are connected.There has to be someone at Sonos that know what they are doing. SONOS IS FAILING.

Hi everyone, I currently have 2× Era 300 and use them mainly for music. Now I’m planning to add a Sonos Arc + Sub, and move the Eras behind the couch as surrounds. I also have a turntable connected, and I don’t want to listen to music primarily through the Arc — I’d like to keep music playback just on the Era 300 stereo pair, but when I play movies through Apple TV, I want the full setup (Arc + Sub + Era). 👉 Question:How can I set it up so that, for example, when I play something on Spotify it only plays through the Era 300, but when I start a movie it plays through the full system?
