Watched an old Marx Brothers movie DVD last night. The DVD box stated it was Dolby Digital 1.0. So I expected that to get sound out of my Beam Gen 1 I would have to change the sound output from my Bluray player from Bitstream to PCM. But it worked on Bitstream! The Sonos App was showing the sound as Doby Digital 1.0
I had reported this as a problem with support, as had other people. Now it appears to have been quietly fixed. Don’t know when but must be fairly recently.
