Alarm Setting key

Since an update over a month ago, when setting or changing an alarm (On Android at least), the keyboard quickly pops up and then dissappears. It's impossible to change the numbers without going outside the app, copying the numbers you want in some other text box of an app, and then returning to the sonos app and fiddling with the text box until it highlights before I can attempt to paste it. I figured it would get worked out but it still hasn't, even after a new update. Is this bug known about or being worked on? It's been getting more and more frustrating as it goes on.

Hi @Jakeruti

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear of this issue you are having with the keyboard disappearing from the screen when you try to set an alarm in the Sonos app.

We identified this issue and resolved it with the update that was released on the 19th of March. Please ensure your Sonos system and Sonos app are both up to date.

I hope this helps.

Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it? Sonos doesn’t generally post if they’re working on a bug or not, and often aren’t even voluble about ‘knowing’ there is a bug or not. You have a much better chance getting the info lodged if you call in.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately that's not the case for me. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app to be sure I have the latest versions. Glad you are all aware of the issue though.

We consider this issue already resolved, @Jakeruti, so if you still see it, I’d encourage you to get in touch with our technical support team to find out why.

Apologies, @Jakeruti - I just found out about a separate, similar issue that has not yet been resolved.

If the keyboard is disappearing as you press the 0 button when filling in the alarm duration field, please skip typing the zero and instead type the number needed, ie. if wanting a 3-hour play, type “3” instead of “03”.

I hope this helps.

Actually the keyboard is disappearing before you can even type anything at all. Thanks  for checking again though

In that case, @Jakeruti , I again recommend calling in.
