How to locate  batterylevel via Bluetooth  if possible?? How??

Sonos, why would you release an app upgrade with so many problems!? Where are my playlists? They're gone! Where are my alarms?  I can no longer edit or save the queue! Where are my albums? I can't change the home interface! I can delete some of the things you guys added automatically but there's nowhere I can see to add anything. What a mess!Don't you guys check your work? I've been reading some other letters and there are many more problems.SONOS PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP

I have a SONOS Beam purchased in 2020.I’m trying to downgrade it to S1, to see if I can use it until SONOS repairs the current issues.I’m using an older Android app: SONOS S1 Controller, version 11.4I’m trying to apply these instructions: https://support.sonos.com/en/article/downgrade-a-sonos-product-to-s1reset is DONE. LED is flashing green. Now I’m stuck.No matter which approach I try, there’s no way for me to do any of these“ When asked to Set up or Join a system, select More options at the bottom of the screen. ” I don’t have any “More options” “ If you are prompted to add the Sonos product that you've just reset, dismiss the pop-up. Why does my Sonos port list as line in disconnected this has only happened since the app update it worked fine before. I checked on the community and there are people with a similar issue but my issue seems to linked to the app update as the issue didn’t exist before. CP85

I tried rolling back to version 78 for W10 and the “windows library” options were greyed and even when I got it to work, I still get the error “sonos was unable to add the music folder 913”….this is a serious testing error and the new version should never have been released as “live”….disgrace SONOS! please fix this ASAP as none of us should have to wait a month to play our own music library collections!

Hi,I am new to Sonos. I just purchased 2 sonos era’s and 1 beam. This is day 2 and I am still unable to setup my devices.. What a disaster is this.. I understood that I bought the speakers and the best moment I could.. The fantastic crappy new update.. Soo let me sum it up.New speakers, unboxed, app installed. Account created. Sonos devices discovered in network.. and then.. disaster loop begins..I gave the app the right to use my microphone, the speakers starts to make the sound to adopt. But the adoption never takes place.. the app even doesnt activate the microphone. I tried each one of the speakers one by one for a thousend times now. after second attempt the app gives the option to connect with code.. when select the option, the app crashes every single time. And yeah already tried remove and install app again.. and also install app on other phone.. No difference..After some research I found out that this new huge app release is a complete disaster and everyone is complaining abou

I get the error message: “Something went wrong” in the app, never had it before, started today.I can play sonos radio, but nothing from spotify or other music services, when i click on playlist from that, it takes a while, then no graphics or music come up, just the silhouette of the player, and then the error message on top.

Hi thinking of purchasing the new sonos headphones to listen to music, but also anything on from my tv. my tv does not have blue tooth, however it is l connected  to a Sonos beam sound bar will the headphones just link up to the beam for any tv audio ( perfect as won’t need a new tv ) sorry if silly question, but hope someone can answer appreciate stu  

Hi. I’ve just upgraded my Sonos to Arc, Sub and paired with two Eros 300. Problemis that I can’t hear any output from the two rear Eros 300 speakers. I had a better effect with my two One speakers. Playing music is OK and is through all speakers but output from my Virgin box is poor. It’s connected through HDMi Arc. I’ve checked and double checked settings but no luck. Any advice? I’m really disappointed after spending so much money. 

The old Sonos app showed what percent the battery of my Move & Roam were at in the app.   Now, all it shows is a battery icon with a lightning bolt in it to show that it is currently charging.  Being of limited vision, I can not tell if the battery is ‘full’ our not.  Is there a way to see what % the charge of these speakers is at?

When I go into the settings to retune my trueplay I do everything the app informs me to do. Rotate the phone, take off the case, center of room, etc. However after the section where it shows an example of the phone in front of the tv it immediately says there’s an issue. It has been doing this for a little while now and I’m hoping I might find a remedy here! 

It appears the edit queue feature is no longer there on the new app, I've checked on my Android, and my wife's iPhone and it's missing there. 

Hi,Since the app update I can no longer play music on more than one unit at the same time. I have a Roam SL and an Era 100..and also an IKEA Symfonisk shelf speaker. Before it worked well to just add a unit and then the music would play on that as well. Now I get “Can’t connect, try again later”.It works perfectly fine to play on the units one by one and updating them has also worked. I can create a Group but playing using it won’t work. And not playing on one unit and trying to add another. Is there anything I have missed? or is this to be considered due to the new app?I have tried restarting router, disconnecting devices and so on...yet nothing has worked.

How do I shuffle & play songs on Sonos new app in my Apple Music Songs list?

I have 2 phantom “TuneIn (New)” music services which show up on my iPhone, iPad and in the web app but not in the Mac OS app.I can’t authorise them and I can’t delete them (“Accounts not removed. Something went wrong when removing your accounts. Please try again”).Sonos support have had me wipe and reinstall the apps and restart all speakers but that didn’t help. When I sent them a diagnostic they said that there is no TuneIn service installed.I was on the phone with them for an hour trying to get them to delete with no success. Anybody else seen this? Really odd.

I have a Sonos Roam 1 and 2. I at times have trouble connecting both to the speaker group. If update the software it finally connects. I do not gave to do this for the SL or the Soundbar. I did find that Sonos provides Roam updates every two weeks starting in July 2022. That is fine but why can’t I add the Roams without an update? If that is your policy then at least give me a message. At this point I have put a reminder in my calendar every two weeks to update the software every two weeks. Love your products but this is silly. I do only turn on and off the Roams only when in use. i do realize it can’t do auto updates. I get no notification to update the software just doesn’t connect. Please provide an update to your software to check the version and recommend an update on power up. Seems like a reasonable ask. Thank you. 

Just updated Ace / App to latest version to try the Ace TV audio swap with Beam Gen 1 and Ray.Thanks for adding support for older soundbars Sonos, this works really well. I also love the head tracking feature.Only suggestion (as raised quite a lot elsewhere), would be to enable sound on both the soundbar at the same time as the headphones. Use case is that I am harder of hearing than my wife.@Corry P . Can you pass this feedback onto the powers that be if you haven’t already done so for others.Ross.

I have two Sonos systems on two WiFi systems, on in the house and one in a garden office. Since the new App installed I now do not automatically connect when moving between the two systems despite my phone picking up the new WiFi zone. This did not happen with the old App. Just spent over an hour on chatbot to end with a suggestion that I disconnect my Boost in the house!!! The chatbot stated this was the first time this issue had been raised....anyone else experienced it?I am now in a 100minute queue on the helpline....

Hi. When setting up a new Sonos Port to an existing system it doesn’t want to link to my account. Have tried the Fix It option a number of times but it still fails at the point where the app attempts to link up to my account. Any ideas how to fix this please. Thanks 

Been trying to add sonos ports to a new system, I keep getting the same message “Your sonos port couldnt be set up. Unplug power cord” .Sonos AMPS go in fine. very bizarre, anybody else seen this?ive deleted the app reinstalled, logged back out and back in….this is crazy Guess Ill reply to my own post..After being on the phone with sonos help for hours, they discovered that there is a glitchwith components that have a older S2 firmware on them .  The glitch does NOT let you add the sonos device to your system. great job Moderator edit: Combined posts 

Hi folks!  I’m new to Sonos in a new home with new WIFI with mesh extension, and I’m having enough trouble setting up my system and consistently getting it to work that I’m coming close to throwing in the towel -- i.e. returning the whole system to the local supplier where we bought it and trying something else entirely.  Rather than spell out all the problems I’m experiencing, I’m wondering if anyone can provide real-time assistance for setup, or recommend a professional service that I can contact? I’m finding directions provided Sonos on their support site to be far too broad.  It tends to take me around in circles with few solid solutions.  I’ve gone one round already with Sonos customer service, and while helpful, my 45-plus-minute wait on hold was followed by one-hour of on-phone/on-line assistance from an off-shore tech to connect my Sonos account to my PC music library, so I’m reluctant to go that route again -- just too damned slow.  I find the apps -- both for my iPhone and PC

Hello,I want to setup 8 Era100 in a very large hall where wifi connectivity isn’t the best.We want to setup the system wired using ethernet cable with Sonos Combo Adapter.How can I set up this wired multiple speaker setup? Do I connect all 8 ethernet cable from each speaker in to single wifi router? If the wifi router doesn’t have 8 empty ports do I use a hub or a switch in between the speakers and the router?Would Sonos Port or the Sonos Amp help with the setup. Thank You for your help. Best,David Jun
