Hello,Since the app upgrade I can no longer access my library on an external hard drive connected to a USB port in my router because the latter is SAMBA v1. The router is my internet provider’s and they do not want to upgrade it. So I plan to buy a NAS server and consider Qnap TS133, mainly for budget reasons. Anyone has success reading music on Sonos with this NAS? I am asking because I read that the Qnap requires their proprietary music app QMusic that Sonos cannot access (I guess) and also that the speakers have to be wired for reading music from this NAS whereas mine are all wifi. Thanks in advance.

Is Tunein Pro (onetime charge) service available on Sonos? I have Tunein Premium account , but still get ads and commercials . Tunein Pro removes ads. 

So when is Sonos going to scrap this awful new app, go back to the old one, and start over and trying to create a good app for once?

My Sonos Beam’s HDMI ARC has broken, I think since the iOS update. Making the soundbar and sub I recently bought for it frustratingly not very useful!  AirPlay however does work, but has some obvious limitations  The HDMI output itself works, as in the screensaver esque screen outputs to my TV, but the TV itself cannot play audio back via the ARC output. It had been working flawlessly for a few years until it just stopped working one day.  I’ve tried: - factory resetting the beam- trying a different HDMI cable- trying a different TV with HDMI ARC output- going through the “TV Setup” workflow in the new app (which claims to succeed in the “Connecting to ARC” step, but then fails the “Test Connection” step  I’ve not tried a different HDMI ARC input device, because I don’t have one to try.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Or is the Beam toast?

When I want to switch from my phone to using my Sonos system to listen to a Libby audiobook, how can I start it where I left off in the Lobby app? Currently it resumes somewhere much earlier in the book, maybe where it was last played in Libby. I'm on an Android phone. So, an answer I saw to a similar question using AirPlay won't work for me

When I click on the Apple section of Sonos app, and select my profile, all I see are the trap and rap songs of my son Leo.    Regards     Tom

I have had a Play 1 system for years, consisting of 9 speakers, it was connected to wifi through a wifi mesh and it has worked wonderfully.I recently moved house and have taken the wifi mesh with me. Plugged it in and all works wonderfully - magic.  However, for reasons I will not get into here, I now need to remove the wifi mesh and want to run my sonos system from my new wifi.Looked up and followed the instructions online about how to do this, i.e. factory reset and setup a new system.I turned off all my speakers and factory reset one of them (call me a cynic but I wanted to make sure the process worked with one speaker before I jump with the whole lot).  The process is not working and I currently have a speaker which I cannot connect to anything other than a temporary network!What have I tried:Run app with phone connected to new wifi:-‘No Products Found’ - fine. Selected setup new system.  Finds Play 1 - I requested that it

Please tell me when Sonos is going to fix all the issues we have with the new app. I am seriously thinking about changing the system…

Hey y’all,Obviously we all know there’s been tons of issues with music libraries. After mine wouldn’t add due to the 913 error, I was able to use the NAS workaround to get access to it. However, Sonos deletes my music library every week or two and I have to re-add it.Anyone have a workaround to prevent that from happening? Or do we just have to keep waiting on Sonos for a potential fix?Thanks so much!

It used to be that I’d load up a queue and play until I got a song I liked and then start station off it and use that to explore new music. But then if I bagged the station I could come back to queue and try again. With the new app when I come back the queue doesn’t appear, making this process more difficult to start over. I have Apple Music and I believe it used to work this way before. Am I missing something or has this feature been improved out or part of the new apps troubleshooting?  Thanks in advance. 

Sonos speakers are great, but everything about the apps is garbage, and gets worse with each update.Almost everyday, Sonos “forgets” where my library is. I have to go into settings and add the folder again, even though it is already there. Sometimes, I can just start playing something I played recently through the app, even though it says there’s no music library!On the mobile app, when I search an artist, it can’t find the song files I have stored locally on my phone! I’ve checked permissions, I’ve updated… everything. For a while, I could fix this by toggling between new and classic search and now that doesn’t even work. This system is way too expensive for such * software.If I find a better app that can work with these speakers I will absolutely never use Sonos apps again. *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the

I had a Creston and Sonos sound system  installed about 18 months ago. My system just stopped working My installer tells me my Port is bad. Surely they last longer than 18 months. Can I get a refund?

Has anyone found a work around on thr new app.The app keeps losing my equipment, so cannot use them.Had anyone been able to go back to the old version of the app ??

I have an old Play:1 I just inherited from my parents. It’s old enough that it requires an ethernet connection to do the initial firmware update after a factory reset. This is important. Right now, I have it on my network via an ethernet connection. I can see it, it can play music. However, I want it to connect to my network wirelessly. Is there any possible way to do this, given I need a wired connection to configure it?

Music was playing during the day and stopped for no apparent reason. tried to reconnect without any success. reset systems , same thing. close power for 10 min, same thing. was showing “something went wrong” every time I tried to reconnect. any idea ??

I have switched network provider and have a new wifi that I need to move my system (Playbase, One SL x 2, Roam) across.The instructions originally told me to follow the app’s guidance to ‘Update Network’, except this was not offered as an option in the new app. I now see the support page (here) has been updated to say that my products are not supported and they require a FACTORY RESET.  I cannot believe that this is the solution. Of course, there is the suggestion to wire it, but my router is not easily accessible and I have a Playbase!Any suggestions??

Does Sonos have the idea to release earbuds ?

Move is connected to my system, but comes up as «not registrerd, I push Register, it acknowledges that it is connected, but still comes up as « not registrered» ???

I moved in a new flat with new Wlan. Sonos Roam 2 set up is ok with Wlan. Can‘t find the product in „set up“ and can not add the Roam to my system. Who can help?

Sonos ARC is not seen from macOS app (S2), I have got all the other speaker being seen except ARC. iOS app (S2) can see everything.  This happened less than 2 week, since before everything was working. Anyone else facing the same issue?
