terrible sound play 3

Last week my play 3 speaker turned into an old bean tin.  Vibrating base G.E  makes it worse, I'm about to launch it over a cliff, any ideas?.  Tried reboot, reset etc nothing.  No true play avaliable in the new app, which is dire by the way

I think I might be simplifying your issue sounds more like a hardware malfunction but I’ve just has a similar problem playing particular music (lots of bass), I had massive vibrations from a Play 3 speaker - looking at the EQ settings, turning down the bass was one way to help but switching off the ‘Loudness’ setting in the EQ settings seemed to fix the problem completely.  Just a thought…..
