Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have several pairs of Sonos speakers in my home.Since the update that was so poor a few months ago, one of my speaker pairs status lights keep turning on.I turn the setting off and they go off, but then a couple of days later, they are back on.I am not muting these speakers and I did not have this issue 3-4 months ago.If the lights are on and an update is rolled out, the status lights flash on and off for several minutes until the update completes and the status lights turn off, but some time later, they’re back on.Suggestions on trouble-shooting are appreciated.

Since the new app I cannot update my Sonos play list from I tunes play list but it does update Artists & Albums ..It states no music available from play list

my new sonos soundbar was just  installed on my new Sony 65 Bravia. after running 4/5 hours the volume control freezes up and mute and volume will not work: only works from app on phone or by restarting TV . Tried buying new remote; also reinstalling Beam to TV. problem came back…?????

Hello everyone,Since I couldn't resolve the issue described in this post, I've decided to explore the option of acquiring a SACD CD player.These players can be quite expensive, so before making an investment, I'd like to know if any of you have experience with them.I'm considering this player DENON DCD-1700NE.Would it be better to connect this player to my SONOS system using an AMP or a PORT?One notable feature of this player is its ability to reproduce SACD multichannel, but I am not sure if the ARC is able to reproduce it.Has anyone had experience with this setup?Thanks and RegardsAngelo

This is a basic ask. The owner of an account, signed into their Sonos system, should be able to lock the system down with a pin code, such that no changes can be made to important set up parameters.Currently, anyone with a Sonos app on the Wi-Fi system, can change device names, eg, like room names, and mess with a system. This should not be allowed. This would be a piece of cake for SONOS to implement, and it makes a lot of sense to do so.

When will sonos customers be able to add to our playlist again, this is ridiculous 

As captioned, for the last two days, my Beam, Sub mini, and Era 300’s work, but there is no App control and it doesn't “locate” the products. WiFi has been rebooted, all speakers unplugged, I've been attempting the App with no success. Anyone else? Tips? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone! I’ve just made the 6th Aug update on my Sonos Ace and I couldn’t connect with my Beam Gen 2 Soundbar through Sonos App (iOS) . Same message: “No compatible soundbar found…”Of course the Beam is connected to WiFi and WiFi enabled on it .Should we wait for another update or is a trick to solve it? Thanks in advance!  

Complete wasting many hours of my time I cannot connect to my speaker S1 via the app. It works fine on my laptop but on my android phone.Despite being on the same Wi fi as Alexa, Alexa cannot connect to the speaker. This is utter rubbish and sonos support are unable to resolve this issue. My advice is put your Sonos speaker in the bin and purchase a proper system.

Hello to all,on the “old” app 16.3 I have recorded in “favorite” few channels taken from TuneIn radio (from RadioTunes where i pay a subscription).For instance as n1 favourite i have “Eurodance”. On the new app those “favorites” channels have disappeard.How can i recover them? Thanks

Im wondering - can i use my Sonos Arc (placed under TV) as primary speakers and then use my Sonos Amp (With connected speakers) as surround ?Arc is connected via ARC from TV - Amp via Wifi...

Hi, I’ve set up a surround system with a Playbase and 2x Play:1s. I’ve previously run the surround system with Ones instead (no issues) but decided to shift speakers around. All speakers work fine when not grouped, but in surround group the rear speakers don’t work. Neither with tv sound or when streaming from Spotify. I am also unable to complete true play tuning. Has anyone else encountered this issue? 

Any word on when the return of being able to search my own music library will be here? Pretty absurd to not be able to search a local library, or add an album at a time to the “now playing” queue.  

I bought new AMP and it started to connect to Sonos App, during this process it update the software, since then I am trying to connect in many ways (connecting to Ethernet cable, factory reset, etc…) but without success.Can anyone help ideas how to solve this?Thanks Barry

I can’t count the number of posts that complain that after changing a Router and/or ISP…Sonos doesn’t connect.First lets ‘s address the elephant in the room…It’s Not The App and most likely It’s Not Your Network (per se).  I say that because we’re not addressing Feature’s that may be missing since the App refresh.It’s a connection issueNo matter if you setup your own router and use the ISP’s modem; or you use the ISP’s router and modem there’s one basic rule that makes for a painless process…Keep the same SSID and Password Assuming you have a stable (or even not so stable) Sonos system here are the steps you should take before replacing your router and/or changing your ISP:Update your device Check for Sonos updates (if possible) Unplug all SonosNow you’re ready to install your new router yourself or enlist the aide of your ISP using the same SSID and Password *. Trying to set up a new Beam2 but can’t get past the EULA

Is anyone else having problems with their volume levels since upgrading their app?  Since I updated to the new app all of my speakers are playing at approximately 50% of their volume level from before the update. Example:  Using my same music service the old app would be loud at level 50. Now with new app the volume level at 50 is equivalent to level 20 in the old  app. I have checked the volume limits for every speaker in the app and all are set to 100%.  I want my old volume levels back!  

We have recently moved to a new house and as part of signing up to a new ISP we were provided an 2 x Eero 6+ routers. I have one Eero connected to the NTD (modem) and another in the living room as an extender. Having read through a bunch of posts on this community, I see Eero are very hit and miss with Sonos.Ultimately I will be looking to connect 1 x Sonos Sub1 x Sonos Beam2 x Sonos One At the moment I just have the Ones unboxed, ready to set up as a stereo pair.I am able to add each speaker using the S2 app, however when it comes to finalising set up, neither speaker is able to update which stops the process.As a workaround I connected one speaker to the Eero in the Living Room via Ethernet and left the other wireless. The issue I’m having now is I can only connect to the speakers through the Sonos App, I can’t direct play music from spotify or any other apps. Any suggestions to fix the issues? Ideally I would like a fully wireless set up for the Sonos i.e. no speakers connected via
