Why is the New App Worse than the old one???

I thought I was the only person struggling with the new updated App until I logged on here and seen other forums, with so many complaining about the same thing, not being able to control their Sonos speakers, what on earth is going on? What are Sonos doing about this? I’ve spent £1000s on speakers throughout my home and no have no way of simply selecting a speaker/room and playing music from it, instead in turns into a whole saga of me wasting time trying to navigate a way to get anything to play anywhere. 
 

I’m yet to see any response for Sonos providing an update on what they are doing about this, apart from reset your Wi-Fi. Unacceptable…SONOS Sort This Out, we’ve paid good money for speakers we can no longer control.
