Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

sonos play 1 is no longer compatible with the new update. the previous app can no longer be found. the suggestions to fix the problem don't work. what can I do ?

I am having difficulty connecting my Sono Ace to my Sonos Ray for the TV Swap feature. While it says I am “Connected” after following the steps, I cannot connect TV sound to the Ace. I called the tech support four separate times today, checked and have all the latest updates, and factory reset my headphones with no luck. Any ideas (I am about to give up. Great looking and fantastic Bluetooth sound, but without the convienent TV Swap feature at the price, I’d rather go with the Apple headphones

I am having a really annoying issue where my Spotify Release Radar playlist is not updating properly on Sonos, but is instead playing last week’s songs. For context, the Release Radar playlist is updated every week by Spotify. I have tried playing it through Spotify directly and choosing Sonos as the speaker, but infuriatingly Sonos changes the queue in Spotify to the old playlist! I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting Spotify to my Sonos account and no luck there either, it reverts back to last week’s playlist. How do I force an update? How can I stop Sonos from rewriting my queued songs on Spotify?

My Arc and Sub Gen3 were working fine when both were connected via Ethernet. I recently rebuilt my home network and improved the Wi-Fi coverage, so I disconnected both speakers from Ethernet and changed their networks to my Wi-Fi. Since then, no combination of network settings changes, reboots, and factory resets will get my Sub to play any audio. I’ve connected the Arc to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and the Sub to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. I’ve rebooted both speakers multiple times and factory reset both speakers. What else can I do here?

Since the latest update of the app I get auto logged out a couple of times a week!It’s so annoying! I use my roam to wake up so I usually have to set it on different times each night. And now when I’m tired as * I have to start logging in again. And I you don’t even save my details so I have to put the whole email and password in each freaking time!Also you hid the wake-up function pretty well in the update. I have been doing my research on a soundbar for the master bedroom and I ave decided on the Sonos Beam (Gen 2), my first Sonos product.In the master bedroom our setup consists of a 60” LG TV plus an Apple Box 4K. The Apple box is connected directly to the HDMI Arc, but I am not sure if the TV supports eArc.  When I get the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) which HDMI do I connect the soundbar to?I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.Thank you all

Hi there, I have been having an issue with a play one which I got given from my dad along with another (which works fine just now) and the one I am having bother with was working perfectly fine for a while and now seems to not want to connect to my Sonos app after I just purchased a Sonos ray so looking to get the 2 play 1’s setup for movies etc.  the play one I am having issues with is showing up on my Sonos app and when I go to connect I get by the connecting to the Sonos wifi but soon as I get to the chime it just does not want to do it. I have tried doing a factory reset and does not change from orange to green! Bit of a pain and have done it even with Ethernet cable connected and unfortunately still the same result. Thought I would ask in here as a last ditch effort before I go and buy another. If anyone else has had the same issue or has found a fix it would be greatly appreciated to share. 

I’m trying to add to play speakers to my system that currently has a sound bar and bass.  I have reset the play speakers to factory.  when the app starts setting up the play 1 speakers to add to the system, I get this inane message:  One or more apps on your mobile device are using airplay.  Go to the app and change the audio output to your device.  If anyone can unwind that word salad nonsensical message for me, I will be very grateful.  What app?  Change what audio output to what device?  

I go to play my Souncloud likes and get the following. Nothing. Lists of music artists are gone. Worked fine this morning. Mixcloud and all other music services work fine. Anyone else experiencing this?   

I just added a Ray Sounbar to a bar room that already has 2 ERA100s and a Sub Mini. Purpose is to improve TV sound and be able to leverage the other speakers for that when not playing music.  I wall mounted the Ray directly below a TV and realized I mounted is it upside down - with the touch controls on the bottom. This is ideal since the touch controls would be difficult to use if mounted on top.  Is there any issue with the soundbar being mounted inverted?

Hi, It’s been 4 months that I am facing this problem.  When I factory reset my ARC and SUB and connect to the new wifi through the SONOS app, the app says the devices are connected. But I do not see the devices on my app. See the snapshots.I have reached out to support and they told me to do a hard wire connection to the router. I did that too and still nothing.Because of this, I am not able to tune the devices to my new home set up. This is really frustrating. Any help?

CONFIG:MacBook Pro 16” M1 Max running latest OS (Sonoma 14.5) Sonos Move SITUATION: out traveling and want to watch downloaded movies through Apple TV app on my MacBook Pro. Tried 100x but no luck getting audio to play over Sonos Move - why not?! I can successfully listen to audio from Apple “Music” app without a problem at home over wifi. I also CAN get audio to play on the Move from my iPhone over Bluetooth (obviously, when we’re on the go, there’s no WiFi network) but no/never audio from the Apple “TV” application for movies. what’s going on?

I cannot manage to connect my sonos ray with my infrared remote from TCL. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have a new Apple TV 4K (2022 third generation) and a Sonos Playbar. Despite setting the Apple TV to use IR, rebooting the ATV remote and going through the Sonos TV setup, I cannot reliably control the Playbar volume. Each time I turn the ATV on, I can only decrease the volume; if I visit the ATV Remote settings, I can increase the volume and use the mute button. The remote is certainly working as pressing the volume up button flashes an LED on the ATV - it’s just not being reliably recognised by the Playbar.

I have a Sonos Amp and want to run 4 speakers from it which I know isn't a problem. I want to have 2 speakers in one room and 2 in another room but I want to connect all 4 to the Amp via a 4 way speaker selector so I can turn either room on or off when I dont want to have sound in the room. I observed Alexa is not working on my Sonos One 2 and tried to access the Sonos app. It asked for an update that it showed it works but then the app loads forever. After reentering the app it asks again for update. I already talked to Sonos support and still have no working solution.I am using the app from iOS 17.6.1.Has anyone encountered this issue?   

Hi everyone. I thought my Roam was dead. All it displayed was an orange light. Could not switch off/ on or reset, tried all the button in for 15 / 30 seconds, still dead.I know this has been the subject of several threads on here, so I thought I would share my experience.Tried everything, was actually in phone  queue waiting to speak to Sonos Support, looked up, and hey presto, all was well, I had a white light and everything was working fine. I know it’s bizarre, but if all else fails be patient.   

Has anyone been able to add their iTunes Music Library to Sonos using Sonos instructions? I’ve tried repeatedly and it still will not connect.

I have installed the latest Sonos app on my Tablet and have transferred my library into the tablet's internal storage Music folder.   I have set the path for the shared folder  as "my files/music/library" which seems O.K. to me but this is not accepted when I try to "add" it.   Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.

 When I look for the SNR of the Sonos Port there is no Network details option. 

I’m not able to install Sonos S2 App on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. All other apps are installing smoothly as normal.I’ve followed all available procedures on both from Sonos and Play Shop and ofc all the basics.Have called Sonos but they were not able to helpAny suggestions? BRKlaus

Hi, I have a problem. 7 months ago I bought speaker lamp from ikea. I used it quite a lot, and I didn't have problems. 3monts ago we upgraded to new network and I didn't use sonos lamp since.Today, I try to log in but it keeps telling me something, so I was sacred. I deleted the app and I think I created new account. I factory reseted it.But it keeps telling me the password of my internet isn't correct. I watched tutorials where it is plugged into the router but mine is in the wall ( english is not my first language sorry)If you know anything it would help

Under the Albums tab, some albums contain all of the songs in the album and for other albums all songs are displayed as separate albums.  

After latest update my surround speakers have semi disappeared by which I mean they don’t work (but I can still start/stop playback and change volume on the beam using the physical units). The beam shows no surrounds in app but they do show as surrounds under Sonos system info.  I also can no longer find the settings for managing what the surrounds should do when it’s not surround sound supported audio. Wanted to check that wasn’t a problem.I genuinely can’t believe updates are still causing problems. What are they spending all these millions on?!I can just about remember when using Sonos was a joy but the memory is fading. Anyone got any suggestions? (Please don’t suggest calling support that isn’t helpful). 

I have music in my iPhone library. How can i listen to it in my sonos speakers since I don’t have a subscription?
