I have an old Kenwood Hifi separates system. I would like to play this through my Sonos Era 100s. I think I need to connect the Aux out from the amp component to a Bluetooth transmitter to make this work. Is this right? I’ve just received a Bluetooth transmitter from Amazon but it’s faulty so I’m sending it back. Before I order another one, I just want to check I’ve got the right idea. If so, can anyone recommend a good transmitter? Thank you.
It should work.
Have you considered using a wired connection instead?

Thanks. Hadn’t considered wired connection but will look into it.
The Era line in connector from the Sonos store has excellent reports.
Ones from elsewhere, some are converting the wrong direction or aren't supported. Sonos has limited memory so they can't support devices that need custom drivers.

Thank you. So if I went down this road I would need this and an rca to 3.5mm cable. However, I currently have to Era 100s as a stereo pair. How could this work?
You connect the adapter to one of the speakers and choose “Line in” as a source in the app.

Make that a a Stereo 3.5 and you are good.
Mono has tip and shaft, stereo has tip, ring and shaft 3.5 connectors.
