Hello everyone,

I’m a new owner of the Sub Mini speaker. Before that, I had a system using Beam Gen 2 and three Symfonisk Gen 2 of which two were used as a surround set up for the Beam while third was a separate speaker in another room.
I moved to my new apartment last summer and had to change three different networks/routers and it was never a problem connecting the system to the new router altogether. However, once I tried connecting Sub Mini yesterday evening, everything collapsed and the entire system stopped working.

I have since reseted each speaker multiple times and started connecting them again, but I could rarely get them to work. The latest method I tried is brining them to another room which has my router in where I connected the speaker by ethernet cable. I was able to connect them, update network setting (to continue using them after disconnecting from ethernet) but once I disconnect them and move to another room, the speaker disappears from the app.
However, I tried disconnecting and connecting my third speaker from power and every time it connects back to the app and I’m able to play music on it.

I’m yet to see what’s going on with Sub Mini and Beam 2 as I can’t get them to work either. However, I was able to connect Sub Mini via ethernet and once I disconnected the cable, the speaker hasn’t disappeared from the app.

Can anyone help me out as I’m really desperate and running out of ideas.
I’m using the iOS Sonos app.

Thanks!

Hello @leoDDB, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear about your experience setting up the Sonos Sub Mini so far.

Please refrain from any further Factory Resets, that’s a last resort step and should be done only if advised by a Sonos employee.

I believe, on trying to fix your issue with Factory Resets, you might have created multiple Sonos Systems and now the Sonos App is having trouble figuring on which one it should connect.

I recommend you  reach out to our Support Team for some live troubleshooting. They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice, specific to your system and what it reports.

I am pretty confident they will guide you into any issue you are currently facing and get your Sonos System back on track - including the new addition Sonos Sub Mini.

I hope this helps.
