Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

My system operates erratically. System does not display component status reliably; does not consistently display album or Playlist tracks; will display graphics for music other than that which is playing; will indicate the system is off when music is playing. 

Hi, I’m sure it’s a stupid question with an easy solution  however I am in need of some help with an audio lag I havei have just bought a new Samsung frame pro 2025 and linked my Ray with 2x era 100 as rear speakers I wanted to use the Dolby atmos through the tv to sync with the sound bar and rear speakers which I can do but cannot get rid of the slight echo/lag when all are workingIm streaming through a firestick

I have a full system that worked fine in the last house, same Sonos app won’t connect to any of the speakers in the system.  What in the world? All of Sonos is 100% dependent on the app, will have to move away from Sonos unless it can be fixed. Anyone else have this happen?

I have a Sonos Roam I purchased soon after launch.  In the last 6 months, it has become very unreliable.  When listening for an extended time using the battery, it will make a screech and pop sound before going dead.  This has happened close to 10 times.  Monitoring the speaker more recently, I noticed this happens when the battery gets below 30%.After trial and error, I found the only way to get the speaker to respond is to put it on both a wireless charger and plug it in overnight.  The charging light never is illuminated.  After using both chargers overnight, the speaker will not turn on unless you remove both chargers and then try the power button.  Similar solutions are on Reddit and YouTube, although most did not have to wait overnight.Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?  Given the recent reports of some Roam speakers catching fire, this is a little concerning.FWIW, I called support and described this situation.  After being on the phone for 30 minutes, on hold

I Wondered if this is a known issue. Having saved a sonos playlist using the windows pc app (latest available version) if I then edit it and save it again using the same name I always get the message 'unable to save playlist' however when I look at the playlist it has saved all my updates correctly so there doesn't appear to be any issue with the functionality it's just the message that appears to be erroneous.What is making it think that it can't save the playlist updates?

Did anyone else's Sonos app update this week? Mine did and now the entire system is NOT FUNCTIONAL! Some of my speakers aren't connecting to Sonos and I can't cast from Spotify to Sonos. THIS IS A DISASTER. WHY DOES SONOS KEEP DOING THIS? They need to fire their entire IT division. Anyone else having issues?

Hi all, my system has 3 Sonos amps: 2 newer ones and a Connect:amp. The 2 newer amps have no problem connecting, but I have to reboot the Connect:amp each time to get it to play. When I check under “Your System” on the app, it shows that the Connect:amp is connected and apparently playing through the speakers, but I have to unplug it and reboot it before it connects. I’ve powered off my router and modem and disconnected / reconnected all devices, but this didn’t solve it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,A family member came into my house today with their iPhone 8, but could not connect to my sonos controller.Here is everything that i've checked / tried :The iPhone (and all other successfully connected device) are on the same network, using the app version 11.15.4 (my phone) or 11.15.5 (the iphone). I made sur the app on the iPhone had all the permissions. I double checked that all devices were indeed connected on the same network. Not that it matters, but both the iphone and the amp are on 2.4GHz (my phone is connected on the 5GHz band) I uninstalled / reinstalled the app on the iphone  And finally, I removed and added back the wifi network on the iphone.Unfortunately,  none of this worked. Any new idea or explanation would be welcome.I searched on this community for related topics, but could not find anything I did not try.Have a great day.

In the app, when there are songs in a queue, the queue list button is no longer available after streaming Sirius. This was how the system use to work and of course still works on the Windows desktop app. Can the queue button always be available even if queue is empty?

Volume control on the iPhone app is a tiny dot and very difficult to use. Can you make it easy to increase or decrease by a percent or number with a click of the button?Lack of this feature is not allowing to enjoy the Sonos system completely. Sad! 

Roam ************This is the second of our Roams to die, both of the same deaths. They work until they don’t. You cannot turn it on or reboot (in any of the multiple ways to do so). I chatted with a Sonos tech (good) and we determined it had no power - the magnetic pad had stopped working, but I could recharge it using a C cable. When charged, it still would not respond. This one did hold on for another year past the first. Am purchasing a refurbished Era 100 to replace it.  Moderator Note: Recorded and removed Case number. I’m going to be mounting my TV tomorrow  morning so I really hope someone answers this in time for me 😬. I have my Sonos arc ultra sitting on the front of my fireplace mantle. There is approximately 3.25” from the back of the Sonos to the wall where my TV is going to be mounted. I’m doing the thinnest wall mount I could find (1” from wall). The TV depth is 2.25” (3.25” with mount), so that leaves the back of the Sonos speaker flush with the front of the TV screen. As I unfortunately need to mount the TV higher than I would like in general, I’m trying to keep height as minimal as I can. As the Sonos arc is not mounted directly below the TV on the wall the tv is mounted, but in front of the TV by a few inches, do I still need to adhere to the 4” distance between the two? I’m under the impression that is mainly because of the upward firing speakers and you don’t want that to bounce off the bottom of the TV… but I wanted to additionally ask if there are concerns regarding any magnetism of

Hello all, I have the Move 2 speaker and it's working fine except for the status light is no longer on even though the speaker is playing. I turned it on and off several times and the problem is still there. I went into the setting in the Sonos app and the status light is toggled in the on position. I turned that off and on several times and did not solve the problem. Would someone respond please that has had this issue? Thank you.

Hi there, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions please regarding my Sonos setup using the Virgin Hub 5 and there extender pods!  I have a number of devices throughout my home and they keep cutting out and then reconnect with a delay or I have to reset the whole WiFi router and pods for it to work, but it is still very intermittent with play back.  I have contacted Virgin and they feel the WiFi network is poor in my home (I only live in a 3 bedroom terrace) and now have given me 3 pods and still facing the same issues.  Is this a known issue with their equipment and if so, any work around or do I just look at getting a new router? 

When I open the Sonos windows app I am asked to check for updates, which I do and there are none. It then goes back to the same screen for checking updates. If I select “more options” and then “continue using the Sonos app” it responds with “some products are not registered”. On selecting “register your products” it asks you to log in and then responds with “your system is up to date” but it then goes back to tell me “some products are not registered” and I can’t get into the app.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still the same result as above. I have rebooted the router and powered down and back up all my Sonos devices to no avail.I have tried contacting Sonos via the chat selection for the past 2 days but after waiting over an hour on each day I have given up in frustration.I can play my music using my iPad or iPhone with no problems so the connection is there.any advice would be welcome

My Sonos speakers (except the two Moves) are Ethernet connected to my network. they function fine as a directly connected TV speaker system, however whenever I try to direct Apple Music or Spotify content I receive a ‘connection timed out’ error.I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. I've power cycled both the network equipment and the sound bars. The Moves also have the same issue. Any ideas?thank you!

I recently connected a pair of Play:3 speakers as surrounds for my Beam 2, Sub 3 basement home theatre setup and the surrounds are giving me a lot of trouble. The audio coming out of the surrounds is throbbing like a tremolo effect, similar to if you talk into a fan that’s spinning. I previously had a pair of Play:1 surrounds connected and they worked perfectly, so the Apple TV and Sony TV settings are not the problem. I have tried rebooting the Beam. I have tried rebooting the Play:3’s. I have removed them as surrounds and added them from scratch and the problem persists. Could this be an issue with wireless interference? If it matters, the Beam is connected via Ethernet with WiFi disabled. I believe when the Play:1’s were hooked up I did not have the Beam on Ethernet. Suggestions please?
