Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Sonos for Windows 11 starts but turns itself off while searching for system.  My system works fine with both the latest Android and iOS apps. I have tried deleting it, clearing the registry, restarting windows and downloading and reinstalling it on Windows but have the same problem.My network is set to “Private, and I have set a rule on my firewall, which is provided by Bitdefender.Any help would be appreciated

Does anyone know what these components are and if they’re replaceable? No power. Boo hoo. 

Because of the above fault i cannot use the device without it being plugged into the router via a Ethernet cable which is not ideal for us.Sonos has informed me the product is outside a warranty period and have offered a 30% of coupon if i return the product.I think it should be replaced. Any thoughts

Hi, I have a Samsung QE65S95FATXZT connected to a Sonos Arc through HDMI port #3 (ARC/eARC).When I use the native Disney+ app on the Samsung TV to play Dolby Atmos content, the Sonos app only shows “Multichannel PCM 5.1” instead of Dolby Atmos.TV Settings:Audio Out → Auto Anynet+ →  Active Dolby Atmos → Active HDMI eArc → Sonos ArcCould you please help me?Both Sonos and Samsung support keep blaming each other.

My Sonos system has aLiving room setup with a Beam, Mini-Sub and two Sonos OneSL (Gen 2) Kitchen with two Sonos One (Gen2) All running latest firmware All Sonos items connect via WiFi and all on the Main WiFi networkMy Network isAsus RT-AX86U Pro as the Main router which generally serves the Living Room Asus RT-AX86U as an AirMesh node in the Kitchen. All running the latest Asus firmwareAll works well, until I activate a Guest Network (with nothing attached to the Guest Network), then in the Living Room the Sub-Mini and a OneSL will drop off the network. The Beam stays on however and I think the other Living Room OneSL then connects via the Kitchen AirMesh node. The Kitchen system remain OK.To be clear all the Sonos speakers can only connect via the Main WiFi network and have never been on the Guest Network. So just having a active Guest Network is enough to mess up WiFi connectivity to those Sonos speakers normally served by the Main router, except for the Beam. I have many Sonos speakers at a home site.  Around 50.  They are split between two systems.  THe internet at this place is using Omada TP Link.  They are constantly experiencing dropouts on the sonos speakers or music just stops altogether.  Sonosnet really isn’t an option as most speakers are in home theater setups, or they are the new era speakers.  I have assigned each speaker a static IP and on all the managed switches enabled STP not RSTP, and MGMp snooping.  Now, I know enough about this stuff to be dangerous, but so far my tricks havent helped much.  Any help?  Do i assing the speakers to a specific nearest AP next.  Very frustrating.

I plan to use Sonos amp to drive my JBL l100 MKII speaker, but I'm not sure if it's appropriate and if it can fully utilize the speaker's capabilities.Do you have any friends with experience in this area? Please advise.

Hi folks. I'm new to Sonos and by turn the community. I have a Beam gen 2 and mini sub. The speech enhancement keeps switching off. I've read a community thread from a year ago discussing the same issue with the Arc ultra. That didn't appear to have been remedied. Has anyone got any further info/ideas about how to fix this.  TIA.  Jay. 

Whether it’s Amazon music or Spotify for me, occasionally I will get the error code “track not encoded correctly” and then skips to the next one. Is this a my network problem or the streaming service itself. Thanks

Actually, I should not be shocked that there is no way to remove a speaker, or in my case a Sonos Connect.  After all, this is Sonos!  I have a pair of Era 100 speakers arriving today, and was planning on setting them up in my living room, using the same name as the Connect -- “Living Room”.  I just read in several threads you have to wait until they just drop off from the network.  That is insane! While we’re on the subject, whoever named these speakers “Era” should be fired!  Sounds like “Error”! If Sonos did not make such great sounding speakers, I would have dumped them years ago!

Any button I press it asks me to sign in, I do then try another button and it asks me to sign in again

Can someone help me understand why apple music sounds so much better on my sonos devices when played through the sonos app than via my apple tv?

Hey,I have finished the trueplay setup using borrowed IPhone for my Beam Gen2 +Sub Mini+2 Era 100s.  Now I want to disable the trueplay for sometime and enable it later.. I remember it was possible with previous versions of sonos app, is there anyway I can get it done with current version of sonos app on andriod phones.Appreciate any hints!!

I am totally lost, I have two surround systems that are working fine. Surround 1 is with an Arc ultra and ceiling speakers with AMP and surround 2 system is with a ARC and ceiling speakers with AMP.After rewiring one set of speakers to the surround 2 system it still worked fine. Now out of the blue I have no more surround sound. The speakers by itself make sounds but as soon as I add them as surround they are gone.I have been through the complete forum and tried it all. Factory reset, music level to 15, music from Ambient to Full.I think I reconnected the AMP like 20 times now but still nothing. What puzzles me is that it worked fine and now it doesn't.Honestly, I have no clue what to do next, what am I missing here… Been working on it for hours now and just have no idea what is going on. Hi.Have a sonos beam gen 2 and sub mini. Sometimes listen to sonos radio. The problem is after a short while it stops playing. If I try and restart all it says is, couldn't play content try again Have tried reseting my phone, unplugging the beam gen 2 which means I have to reconnect to my network but still the same. Have now done this more than once but still the same.Both the Beam Gen 2 and sub mini are less than 3 months old. Would be greatful of any suggestions or recommendations. ThanksEddie

My Sonos move is plugged in, connected via Bluetooth to my Spotify app on my phone. When i press any button on my speaker, it responds but there is no sound no matter what i do. Any help will do. Hope is not a hardware issue.

I used to have a Cocktail Audio X10 device connected as my Sonos Music Library to stream my 50,000+ tracks. This stopped working some while ago and I believe it is to do with it using SMBv1.Since then I have connected the X10’s back-up 2TB drive and connected it via a USB hard drive bay and set it as a share and then mapped it to Sonos as my Music Library. Two days ago this worked, but it was my back-up drive that was out of date I wanted to use the actual X10 drive. I removed this, set up the share and defined it to Sonos. Nothing, it does not seem to recognise it even though it is shared and defined correctly. Tried back to the back-up drive and that does not work now either. The only thing that does work is if I define the music directory on my laptop, which only has a few albums in it..Any suggestions to resolve gratefully accepted as I currently am unable to listen to all my  music.

Hi, I am having an issue with my Sonos Ace when listening to some music - very distinctly happens in the right ear (extremely subtle) but there is definitely some buzzing/distortion. Anyone think that there could be a hardware issue? I tried turning off ANC, and also plugged the headphones in as well and the issue still persists.

The desktop app sucks all of the sudden.  Please fix this and revert to local controls.  Theres no benefit to me to be cloud connected to Sonos servers in order to use the software for the devices i purchased.  No one asked for this and frankly, its unacceptable.

I know there are a lot of forum responses on this - but what is the fix for Apple Music not wanting to play consistently from within the Sonos S2 app?? I rrauthorize daily and it still is very sensitive if I can get it playing at all. In addition, the AirPlay says it’s unable to connect as well. I have Sonos Arc, amps, Five etc and most recent software. 

Does any one know of a compatible EU USB-C wall adapter for the move 2 charging dock?   i bought a move 2 in the USA last week and took it home to Germany and unfortunately none of my adapters are working with it (lights blinking red).  I contacted Sonos sales and they said they don’t sell them and linked me buy an entire new base for 80 euros. Which is insane to me. I Was very disappointed with their customer care.    so can somebody tell me what wall plug I could buy that would be compatible with the charging dock?   I’ve already tried apples with no luck.

For the past few days I have been unable to pay music from Amazon Music on any of my Sonos speakers. I get an error: “Can’t play “song name”. It’s encoded at unsupported sample rate 3145728000 Hz.”I have tried removing and adding AMZN service. I have the latest App and Firmware updates. (This was happening before and after most recent app update) My AMZN service is working fine on other devices. I have powered off/on each speaker. I have powered off/on my phone and even restarted my Internet connection.Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve? I have searched the FAQs and community and haven’t found anything recent on encoding errors that look like what I’m seeing. Screen grab attached.
