Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

HelloWe open a new store and are wondering what is the best option to setup our sound system.Facts:not native english speaking, sorry if some infos are not clear :) Room is 400 sqm (22meters x 18meters) no Party, just background music, but still with a little bit of a punch we could get some speakers of a closed restaurant (6x Play:3 + Sub) Question:Should we create 3 rooms with pairs each (Stereo) and group them together to get basically 3 Stereo setups (3 left / 3 right) or better group them all in 1 room (6x Mono)?does it sound better to have stereo sound even in a big room like this or is it not worth it? would three pairs be horrible due to possible timing differences between them? (delay of “the different rooms”?) Thanks a lot in advance for your help :)

I’m getting messages in the app that Calm is no longer available in Sonos.  Has Calm removed their service from Sonos?  It was working last night.  Given all the issues with the app could this be a bug and Calm will reappear suddenly??

When I pick a YouTube music playlist, the queue goes up to 22,000 or more songs. It adds between 200 to 300 additional songs to queue until it maxes out to above 20,000 for all playlists that I choose from YouTube music..Is that normal? Or do you think my system is bugged? This started happening after the most recent update in December of 2024. 

Anyone recently have their entire Sonos system stop working throughout their house?  I have a handful of listening areas and the Sonos app no longer detects them.  Did something change?

My Sonos system across my house stopped working in November. I cannot figure why. My home is made up mainly of ‘One’s’, which are maybe ‘Play’s’ in the U.S. plus a Move and a room setup with a Beam and a Sub to make it 5.1ss. Nothing works. Like, nothing. I tried several times before Xmas but left it rather than putting me in a spin and ruining the holidays. The only thing that did work was the room with the beam and sub that worked from the tv.  Having now spent all day resetting every speaker to try and start afresh, now that is disconnected as a room system also. Is this some sort of joke? I spent 5 hours on it today trying to figure it out and updating every digital setting in this house, watching a million videos, then two hours (and two separate calls as their home WiFi dropped out mid-call) on the phone to tech support who couldn’t sort it either. I bought this entire system in late 2019, so it’s not ‘old’, despite Sonos

I have the Sonos Arc, 2 Era 300s and 2 Sub Gen 3s. I recently purchased the Sonos Arc Ultra. I have a theater room and a living room. Would you replace the Sonos Arc in the theater room which is connected to the Era 300s and subs with the Arc Ultra, or would you put the arc ultra it in its own room if it isn’t going to be combined with the others. If i replace the Arc with the Arc Ultra, i will simply use the regular arc in the living room by itself

I need to cut and re-splice my Sonos power cord to correctly mount my speakers. If the power cord is like any other cord -- say for a lamp or appliance -- this shouldn’t be a problem. But is there something unique about the Sonos cord that would make this operation a bad idea?

Hii I am looking to connect a pair of Sonos ceiling speakers and a single stereo ceiling speaker to the Amp…can anyone help with this please?  

folks many videos and music from my YouTube music playlists started to be greyed out in the Sonos app and I can't play them at all and I don't understand why can somebody help?

There is a playlist issue in the Amazon Music app within the Sonos app.  Sometimes when I open a user-created playlist there are no play options.  The only option allowed is Save to Sonos Favorites.  I end up using SonoPhone to start the playlist.  I do have an Amazon Music Unlimited account. 

Is there really no way to scroll through the folders on the Sonos app (on the iPad) except to swipe? I can’t just tap a letter to advance to that point in the folder list? And is there really no way to search the folder list? Please tell me this is all just “operator error.”

Arc Ultra with 2x 300 ERA surrounds and dual subs. Music is horrible, no bass response on subs and mid range is missing completely. Sounds like an old AM radio. Is this a problem with the app? 

Hello, the Era 300s have arrived. I put the Era 100s in double Stereo in another room and as before connected in surround. I was amazed by a first test without trueplay of how they go. Audio track right for example everywhere by Flettewood Mac in Atmos is something incredible. A nice leap compared to the Era 100s. Then configured in stereo and to tell the truth they disappointed me. Lower sound less undivided. Re-set in surround with the beam 2 and the mini sub. Indeed the mini sub has gained strength with the Era 300s. Satisfied at the time of purchase.Remain the mistake Sorround vero best vs Stereo.Andrea. 

​@Corry P Hi. Is it normal to have to re-authorise to Sonos radio once or twice a week? Happens on both my iPad and iPhone.I do not have a paid subscription to Sonos HD.I have sent through a diagnostic.Ross. 

Hi,I have a Sonos ONE gen2, it was working ok with the S1 app under Android on my Xiaomi, but the S1 app asked for an upgrade without giving me other option, and now the S2 app is not working : it kept showing the splash screen and nothing else. I tried uninstall / reinstall the app several times without success. I also reinit the Sonos ONE that now is showing a green flashing light.As my Sonos ONE lost its config, I cannot run any setup… And cannot use my speaker anymore…Any idea ?

I store my media files on an external drive in a folder called \Music.  My MacOS Music folder which contains the library is stored on the internal drive in a folder called \Music.I have created a share to the external Music folder, \\MacBook-Pro\Music, and added it to the Sonos app, the music was indexed and it plays properly.I now want to add in the playlists I’ve created.  The problem is I can create a share for the internal Music folder but its address looks exactly the same as that for the external folder, \\MacBook-Pro\Music.  Obviously the underlying network path for the two are different but the Sonos app only requires the \\host\folder name format.I haven’t tried adding it to the Sonos app as I fully expect it not to work - how could it determine the difference between the two??  Is there a better solution than copying my music library file to the external drive and re-indexing the Music Library in Sonos?

If I am away from home, will Sonos Radio HD stream via the iPhone app to the Ace headphones? This the last factor is deciding which over-ear headphones to buy, and whether to continue with iTunes. Thnx in advance. 

Good morning,Is it foreseen to include Amazon Music in Sonos for users from Belgium?I read that the workaround would be to modify my address in my Sonos profile and to indicate an address where Amazon Music is available in Sonos (France for instance). But I prefer not to put a fake address in my profile,  for my future orders, my contacts with the support,… Thank you

I’ve been a long time Sonos user, but only recently installed a whole home AMP driven system (rather than just plug in sonos speakers). I’ve heard a lot of the complaints about instability of the new Sonos App, but hadn’t experienced it much till now. Wondering if there is a solve, or diagnostics I can share with Sonos to help them stabilize the new app. I regularly group 4+ zones throughout the house and it regularly stops playing and when I go back in the app, the entire group is disconnected, each zone shows “no content”, and need to be regroup the speakers and select a content source. Am I experiencing what many have been complaining about? Either way, this is sad as hell. Previous generation of Sonos was stable and reliable. This is disappointing.Sonos team, reach out and lets work together to get this solved.

hi my name is Adam. I recently got a new speaker. The Sonos Roam SL and I know it has warranty, but I think I accidentally purchased the warranty the extended warranty early. Can I cancel it and re-purchase it again or do I have to be buying a new device and then pay for the new one 

Sounds like this is a design flaw, but my Sonos beam is wall mounted.   the hdmi cable seems lose in the port and therefore the soundbar looses connection.  any fixes?
