With setup Era 300 + Ultra Arc have you notice a significant difference (musically speaking) between spotify and apple/amazon music

Apple/Amazon have HD music. In the other hand, not spotify. Although I enjoy the music discovery from Spotify, I wander if it is time to switch to a music provider that has HD music.

Knowing the lossless quality is better, can we  actually ear a difference from the compression format offered from Spotify?

Thank you in advance

I switched from Spotify to Apple Music a few years back, used SongShift to port the playlists across.

The main reason was Apple Music includes Apple Sync Library (was Apple Match), that allows you to upload your own music, but you are limited to 100,000 songs of 200MB each, but 20TB should be adequate for the vast majority of users still using local library.

Streaming services always ‘sound better’ when you see a ‘Lossless’ logo in the App, regardless if you can actually ‘hear’ the difference.

Both Apple and Amazon Music will allow Dolby Atmos music to be played on Sonos, which Spotify can’t offer.

its much easier to differentiate between stereo and Dolby Atmos music.
