Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Era 100 making popping noises and flashing different coloured lights, cant seem to stop it. Any ideas please? (Nothing playing!)

Hi all, sorry to bang on about this but I can’t seem to get a straight answer.So under Sonos Favourites (this is not my music library) I have the albums but no album artwork and not able to create a new playlist.is this still waiting to be done or is my system Thank you 

I recently changed my router and since then my Sonos system has become a complete mess..I've tried following various pieces of advice from the web but the more I do the bigger the mess seems to get.  Should have asked the Community from the start !My system - I just have a pair of Play 3 speakers which were set up as a stereo pair and could play music from my music library, which is on a network drive.  I only use the system with the music library, nothing fancy, not playlists, radio etc. I have an old Android tablet with the Sonos 2 app, a Mac with Sonos 2 v16.5, and my wife has an Android Samsung phone she thinks it's an S9.The tablet and the Mac can both access the music library, but they only seem to recognise one of the Play 3s.  The controllers on those two devices are limited in functionality and don't seem to be capable of activating the other Play 3.  So they can only play music through one speaker.The S9 phone does seem to recognise the second Play 3 but not the first one.  A

I’m pretty good with computers however, it took about 7 hours over a 3 day period to get my system updated and back up and running.  This just isn’t right…Along with an hour and 10 minutes on the phone with Sonos support who were unable to help…Very disappointed… 

Hey all,I recently upgraded to the Sonos Arc Ultra in my living room, hooked up to an LG C1 OLED via eARC, and with an Apple TV 4k (newest model) as my main source for streaming and Apple Music. I’ve recently noticed that when I group my Sonos Ones that are in other rooms with the TV audio, it’s VERY choppy, to the point where I find it unlistenable. This problem does not happen when I stream music from the Sonos app or Airplay via my phone, so I think it has something to do with sound coming into the sonos via the Apple TV. I had my previous Sonos Arc hooked up via ethernet to create a SonosNet connection around the house and never had this problem, so I’m wondering if that’s part of the issue (I know the Ultra does *not* support SonosNet). As for if it’s a network issue, I have a relatively small house (about 1200 square feet) with AT&T Fiber and have a few internet range extenders so coverage should not be an issue.  Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Hi, this is 2024-12-15, I'm wondering if the Ikea remote control symfonisk and hub dirigera works with Sonos speakers that are not bought at Ikea. Would like to have the function press a button and start a sonos favorite. (I can tell google and it works variably). Really like the old way of pressing a button. So my main question is can I start a sonos favorite with ikea symfonisk?

So, I purchased a new home which had a Sonos set up - three wall speakers in three rooms hooked up to my router. I downloaded the Sonos app and it worked fine - until today. When I opened it, there was a message that an update was available and I had no options but to download an update. It would not allow me to do anything else or continue until I did the update. Until now everything worked just fine. All I ever wanted to do was play some music (usually a radio station) and nothing more. I know my TV’s will connect but the audio through Sonos is terrible compared to the basic TV audio so, just a radio in the background for the day. I do not use my cell phone for anything but making and getting calls and texting, even that rarely. My cellular data is not connected and I only use an internet connection rarely. Since I am the only one in the household that is even semi computer literate, having the software simply shut down because of a software update when I am not here is not acceptabl

After recent update majority of my Sonos devices have been constantly dropping off the internet every day or two.It's usually been 3 out of my 7 devices, however it's starting to get worse with the 4th now dropping off. I've gotten so frustrated I thought it may have been my router so I purchased a new $400 router setup. And still they are dropping.It's usually my Play:1, Play:3 and Play One. Hello.  My Sonos on Mac says my Apple Music needs to be “re-authorized” but this can only be done on an iOS device. Apple Music is fully authorized and operational on my iPhone, but I do not see any option to re-authorize it for the Mac. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Since the December 10 update to the latest version I have been unable to play music tracks via a linked spotify account on the latest SONOS Windows controller. The Web and mobile apps work fine, I’m able to play local music files and radio stations. I was listening to queued music before the update five minutes before perfectly fine, so this has occurred in the latest version.When I attempt to add music to the queue I get one of three error messages: “Unable to add music to the queue”, “Error 701”, “An error occurred whilst adding music tracks to the queue”. Steps I have taken so far include; Resetting the router, re-adding the Play:1 speakers I have, re-adding the spotify account, reinstalling the windows controller, resetting the windows controller, none of these have worked. 

Initally set up in one home and took many hours of work arounds to finally get it to play. A few years later resurrected in a different state and simply does not work.I would not recommend Sonos to anyone.Will not recognise my Port and basically feel like I need to be an IT technician just to get it to play a record.I heard Sonos are going broke and that they are trying to discount all their products as a last gasp measure to get some market share back, but basically, the software is too hard for the average person to operate.

Hi!I’ve had the combination of Ubiquiti and Sonos for several years. Since 2018.It’s been working very well. Until the ‘new app’ beginning of the year. Lets start with the Ubiquiti Setup:UDM Router with Wifi Enabled 16 port POE switch 2 AP’s directly on the POE switch And the Sonos Setup:2x Play 3 1x Beam 1x Roam 1x OneWhat is currently happening; the app is very slow to connect to the devices. However, at the same time both Home Assistant and direct playback from Spotify work instantly. And even if the Sonos app is working; it seems to be forgetting that it’s playing something. Which at that point results in not being able to control anything.Stopping playback, skipping song, changing volume is impossible at those times. I did change a lot of the Ubiquti settings (which never were an issue!), like snooping, Spanning tree etc. But that doesn’t solve it. Spent in total a whole working day calling Sonos, but we’re not getting anywhere. Has anyone got any clue what i can try out to improv

Sonos has made Play1 obsolete. I might as well throw the speakers away. They cannot be connected to wifi anymore, even after factory resets. One will work if connected by ethernet directly to the router, but the App control for start/stop, or volume is spotty at best.   I will not buy anything new through Sonos because they will eventually “improve” that to be obsolete also. All good things must come to an end I suppose.

In our country sell new headphones Sonos, offers a lot, the price is very different from different sellers, are there fakes on these headphones and how to determine whether it is a fake or original, maybe there is an opportunity to check the serial number, I will be grateful for any information, thank you!

My Sonos One speaker, is not making pairing sound.Who repairs there speakers in Melbourne Australia?

Have bought two Era100s and a sub mini. Have been trying all weekend to make the system rock. Spent an hour with Sonos support but no progress.I want it to play as a 2.1 stereo system in my living room. No matter how i try it will not work. I can stereopair the Era100s but if i add the sub i end up with one Era playing.I can add the sub to one Era, but if i try too stereopair the second i am back to square one.Evert Component seem too work. Just not together.Any ideas before i return the products? 

Hi. My set up is a Rega Planar 1, Pro-Ject Phono Box MM pre-amp, and an Era 300.The minute I turn the Rega on a massive hum is present. I have scoured the internet and tried everything I can find.Tried grounding the amp and the left channel output on the Rega. Tried grounding to each other, and each one to a radiator. Have tried all combinations of plugs being in the same expansion lead or not.I have laid it all out so no cables are crossing. But no improvement.If I plug the Rega straight into the Era 300, there is no hum (thought the sound is nor great, but just about listenable).I also get the buzz when I use a Bose speaker I had to hand to test.Any ideas?TIA.

So some files that I have on my PC won’t play. Sonos scans them for a few seconds then moves on to the next file. It will then skip the entire album track by track. Thought it was file format but happens on MP3s as well as lossless. It’s consistent, ie certain albums just won’t play. VLC plays them fine. The Sonos device was connected to router via Ethernet in case of Wi-Fi issues. I stress, most albums play fine.  I also have a NAIM streamer on Ethernet into a router and this has no such problems. It’s getting more common as time goes on with latest albums. Is it likely to be because these are higher res mp3? The devices in question are play one and three, about 10 years old.

So I’ve got a pretty consistent problem with my new setup. Sound tends to pulse. Like half a second every second. It does this for a bit, then seems ok, then does it some more.It sounds like sound is shifting back and forth between Arc and Era surrounds.Super annoying.Any ideas?

Haven't been having this problem lately, but tonight it's not showing our system... Anyone else having this problem? 

I’d like to connect a turntable and a CD player to my Sonos Amp. Is there a way to do this using coaxial or optical outputs converted to the HDMI input on the Sonos Amp, or is an RCA switcher the best option?Thanks!

HiMy current setup is an Era 100 in my bedroom and a Beam 2 in my living room with my LG tv.I live in an apartment building, so my couch is flush against the wall in my 230 sq ft living room.I was planning on upgrading my living room setup during this Black Friday / holiday season for an improves sound..Would you guys say that having a Beam 2 paired with 2xEra 100 speakers as surrounds with wall mounts would significantly improve the listening experience, as opposed to buying an Arc Ultra (after selling the Beam 2)?I am not too fond of the idea of installing wall mounts next to my couch due to aesthetic reasons. I'm also aware that the ideal surround speakers placement would be behind the couch, which is not applicable in my case. I will however prioritize an option that will yield a better listening experience over aesthetics. I know the Arc Ultra is a significant improvement over the Beam 2, I am just not sure how well it can mimic a surround sound  experience.Adding a Sub Mini to my

Ik probeer mijn cd speler te koppelen aan mijn era 100.Ik gebruik een HDMI naar USB C kabel, maar mijn era 100 herkent dit niet.…Ik zag op de site dat er korte kabel bij Sonos kan worden aangekocht. Is die kabel noodzakelijk voor herkenning of moet het lukken met mijn eigen kabel?

I love the Sonos products… when there all working! I’ve recently moved home and the only one working is the Beam because it’s plugged into the TV! The rest are non existent… Sonos I will be requesting a full refund because it’s so difficult to get them all connected again! Why can’t it be so simple as‘connect to your new wifi’ login to your accountfind your productslink them to your new wifihey presto we’re live!!! No nothing works!!!!!
