Assistance Needed with Sonos Era 100 Bluetooth Delay

Hi,I am experiencing issues with my Sonos Era 100. When I connect it via Bluetooth to my LG C3 TV, there is a noticeable delay in the audio. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for your help.

Wiim mini with Playbar

Hello, I would like to hook up my old Playbar with MAC over AirPlay in my office.  Would Wiim Mini or Belkin adapter AUZ002VFBK do the job? Both have optical connector.  thanks

shockingly misleading marketing

What a waste of time! Bought this specifically because it was advertised to work with Google home. You cannot pull a feature like that and hope nobody notices! It seems that the fallout has been handled terribly by Sonos. This gives me zero confidence in these products even if they restore the feature. Will return immediately and avoid like the plague. You cannot treat customers like this who have burned thousands of hours combined on this nonsense. Good riddance

Wrong Song Plays After Amazon Prime Music Content Service Artist/Song Search and Track Selection

When using Sonos Voice or Sonos app to select a song from Amazon Prime Music, a different wrong song is played and displayed in the now playing window. This is not an issue with other content services such as Apple Music or Spotify. That was tested by clicking on the service in the Sonos app and filling in the search field and further selecting the track from the results of the search. For Amazon Prime Music content service in Sonos, a completely different song from a different artist plays every time for any search entered. It is also an issue with the Sonos web player. I picked an album and it played a song from a completely different artist. If I click the three ellipses and click “Play Now”, it will play yet another incorrect song from yet another artist and that repeats itself every time “Play Again” is clicked. It is not an issue when using the native Amazon Music app on my phone. Can’t be a cache problem because it’s a problem on multiple devices, iPhone app and web page using c

WiFi connectivity

Hi, I am just trying to understand how the WiFi setup works when sonos is on home theatre mode. I have an Arc, sub gen 3 and 2 era 300s.When first set up the were all showing as separate speakers on my WiFi network. Now that I have set up the home theatre the Eras are showing as offline, I assumed as the Arc is doing the connection to the router. The sub is still showing up as a separate speaker on the WiFi hub, even though it is part of the home theatre. Is this normal?Strange thing is that the eras, when they were separate showed as connected by ethernet even though they were not.The Arc is showing up as on 2.4ghz band but the sub is showing as 6ghz (even though I thought 6 was not in the spec).I am just wondering if this is all as it should be. It seems strange that the sub is still separate.

Playbar won’t connect to my Sonos App. My wifi crashed. I was able to reconnect with the speakers and the sub but I can’t get the Playbar to recognize the app.

Era 300 surround audio coming out of height driver

So I just ran some tests on my Ultra, gen3 subs, era 300 (surrounds) system. I’m getting what’s supposed to be rear surround audio out of the height driver on the Era 300s. I am getting height audio out of the height driver but I’m also getting rear surround audio out of it too. I used an Atmos Test app on my Apple TV 4K.  Anyone else seeing (hearing) this as well when 300s are being used as surround speakers?  Has Sonos addressed this anywhere?

Sonos arc ultra - losing soundHello, I replaced an old playbar that never failed with a Sonos Arc Ultra.My new current settings:Sonos arc ultra TV sony xf9005Apple TV 4K first generationConnection Sonos arc to tv - hdmi ARC, Apple TV to Sony TV - hdmi cecUnfortunately, this is the beginning of my problems.As I change the channel there are no sound. Then I change the channel again and the sound comes back. When I pause what I’m watching  it loses sounds when I resume. Sometimes help me pause and play again and sometimes i must restart movie. I have reset the system, unplugged, changing hdmi cable, update firmware etc... (all recommended things by sonos chatbot)I contacted sonos support with chat and they told me that the problem is known and caused by the last update and that it should be fixed but they don't know when.I am very disappointed, I wanted to enjoy the new equipment and not wait for an update that will come who knows when.

Sonos App Refresh: Seven (7) Months Later

HelloJust wanted to pass along my impression of the Sonos App (fka S2) seven (7) months later. Before I continue let’s get this said and out of the way…The initial Sonos App release in May 2024 caused a significant amount of pain and anguish for many loyal Sonos customers. It most likely cost Sonos new customers as well. 🤔I’m sure you can find many threads in this community attesting to the debacle Sonos brought upon themselves by releasing an unfinished product. It’s going to take time for Sonos to regain the complete trust and confidence of its customer base (as well as attract new customers) regarding their commitment to provide an outstanding product in both hardware and software.Having acknowledged the above I can say unequivocally that the Sonos App; TODAY is performing as well as its predecessor and brought along some welcome improvements. I have installed three (3) Arc Ultras with subs and surrounds using Era 100’s or 300’s without incident. I have used Advanced Trueplay on al

Move 2

I would like to know if I have or the best way to connect my Move 2 to an existing system which is an Ark Ultra , set of 300s and dual sub Gen 3s. I also have grouped a set of Fives. I know it’s a lot to figure out but I have connected my Moves and with everything going listening to music it sounds fantastic but as mentioned am I getting the best sound connected that way?, or is there a better way of doing it?  Thanks in advance

Help with setting up

Hi,  I recently purchased a Sonos Arc Ultra, a Sonos sub-mini, and two Sonos Era 300 speakers. Although I purchased them together , I had to wait for the Eras to be delivered. During that time, I set up the Arc with the sub, and it all sounded fantastic. I was really looking forward to the Eras arriving so I could set it all up as a Dolby Atmos sound surround system, obviously all in the same room. I have followed as many guides as I could regarding setting it all up. I realize that I must be watching films and music that support Dolby Atmos, I stream music from Spotify and Amazon Music, as I was looking forward to listening to music with this complete music system. I listen to music all day so it is an important aspect for me.  On Amazon Music, while listening to an album being streamed in Dolby Atmos I can hear music some sound from the Eras, but very faintly. The same when playing a Blue Ray video in Dolby Atmos. I would like to hear far more from them. As for setup, I used the Sono

Optical connection to Playbar

Quick background. Watch movies maybe once a month if that. Cut the cable long ago. Had Amazon Fire Stick connected to Sharp HDTV using playbar, mini-sub and play:1’s for rear sound as home theater setup. Had worked flawlessly for 10 years. Fire Stick started acting up and lost TV audio thru playbar around same time at some point earlier this year.  Assumed it was issue with Fire Stick. Finally purchased new Apple TV and was excited to set up but that quickly evaporated once I realized I was still not getting any audio from tv to playbar. Since the only physical connection is via optical cable I purchased a new one just in case. No matter what rabbit hole I went down I cannot get the Sonos app to recognize my optical cable. No settings on the tv have changed and if they had its a simple switch from fixed (internal speakers) to variable sound (external). This has consumed me for 2 weeks now and I’m at the point of giving up hope  I plan to call support to see if they can help but am not

Sonos Arc Connection Issues on Sonosnet – Help Needed!

Hi everyone,I’ve been facing a frustrating issue with my Sonos Arc and am hoping for some advice.Here’s my setup:Multiple Sonos speakers at home, all connected via Sonosnet (Beam in the Master Bedroom, which is hardwired to my Orbi RBK760 router). My home theater system consists of a Sonos Arc, Sub 3, and 2 Sonos Ones as rears. All other speakers in the house, including the Sub and Ones in the home theater, connect and work fine – except for the Sonos Arc, which frequently drops connection.The problem:The Arc regularly loses connection, even though the Sub and Ones (located right next to the Arc) have no issues. When the Arc is disconnected, it often blinks white, and after restarting, it might alternate between white and red before (sometimes) reconnecting after multiple attempts. The nearest Sonos speaker to the home theater is about 8m away, if that matters.Things I’ve tried:Restarting the Arc (results are inconsistent). I’ve been in the software industry for 50 years now. That’s a long time. A very long time. I have seen many applications, utilities, services, and products come and go. I have built many of them.This new SONOS Android app? One of the worst re-versionings I have ever seen. Two cardinal rules have been broken:Never release a product that is not fully baked. If you present functionality to your users that doesn’t actually work as the UI suggests it should, you will feel the wrath. Never release a version update that removes functionality from earlier versions without very, very good reason. Doing so, after setting the self-created standard, takes away a considerable amount of your goodwill you worked so hard to create.We all know how depressingly awful this new version is and how much has been lost in the process so I won’t belabor the painful details.I really just want to know what you, SONOS, are doing about it? This sub-standard garbage has been all we have had for way too many months

Hi we are making a cinema room and was wondering if this set up will work 1 Sonos arc under the tv on a media wall2 sub on the floor in front 3 x2 wall architecture speakers in the wall at the back at ear level on the side walls and the amp, also does it work together having a Sonos amp and the rest of the speakers being connected to the tv  ? we have the speaker cables ready where the wall speakers need to go is this easy to set up in the app as one room and link ?

Crossfade not working

Updated Sonos yesterday and now crossfade is broken.Has anyone else experienced this and do you know of any workarounds? Version 16.4.2Build:  81158074

No Content Items Available

My husband bought a Plex server. I added the sever on my Sonos App and all worked fine for one evening playing music. Now I go to access the sever on the Sonos app and it states "No Content Items Available". The server is working fine. I can see and play my music via the Plex app but Sonos all of a sudden cannot see the tracks/content.I am losing the will. I love my Sonos...or rather I did, as they've made things so hard to simply play and listen to music!!!Can anyone help me please? Thanks. Kelly

speaker in pair no longer connecting

I have 2 “play five “ speakers in one room. The second one just stopped connecting. It’s still lit up. I’ve unplugged it, tried to rediscover it in the room and it’s not connecting or being seen. It  worked over the summer. What should I do?

Move 2 x Airplay

All iOS devices are unable to connect to the Move 2 via AirPlay, displaying the message: "Unable to connect to ‘Move 2’." All iOS devices can successfully play back audio on other Sonos speakers (e.g., Arc, SYMFONISK) via AirPlay. Music streaming services (Apple Music, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, etc.) can playback on the Move 2 through the Sonos app. All relevant software and firmware are up-to-date, including iOS, macOS, the Sonos app, Move 2 firmware, and router firmware. All Sonos devices have reserved internal IP addresses. The router settings have not been changed recently and the router has been rebooted multiple times. The Sonos app has been reinstalled. The Move 2 has been factory reset multiple times. After extensive diagnosis with a Sonos agent, the unit was replaced. Surprisingly, the replacement—a brand-new Move 2—shows the same error message: "Unable to connect to ‘Move 2’" after setup.Please help. What additional steps can be taken?iOSMac​​​​

speakers disappearing after unplugging ethernet cable.

Hi! i’m having this very frustrating problem after changing my isp and my home network. For 2 of my products this far, i set them up with the ethernet cable and make sure the « enable wifi » is on, but they still disappear like i have nothing when i unplug the ethernet cable. Any help with that would be much appreciated! I have three other products that will need setting up after those and I would like to stay in a good mood! 😅 Thanks!

Existing SONOS set-up dropped from my MESH WiFi

Good morning, everyone.  I could use your assistance.  In brief, I added a Home Theater set-up to my existing system approximately 6 months ago (ARC, ERA 300 x 2, SUB, and Victrola Stream with SONOS capabilities).  It has been successfully connected to my DECO MESH WiFi 6 system with little to no issues at all, until a couple of weeks ago. Nothing has changed with my current MESH WiFi setup or my Modem setup, with exception to the new “Updates” with the SONOS Mobile App.  Initially, with the first upgrade, I was experiencing the same issues most of you have with the lag in the volume control.  Annoying, yes… Usable, absolutely. However, I recently came home from a 2-week trip and noticed my Home Theater set-up was “Not Connected”.  My other Play 1’s are still connected and able to stream. I have attempted almost all posted remedies to this issue, with no success.  The only suggestion I have not attempted is to hardwire the ARC to my MESH router or directly to the Modem. Suggestions?  A
