Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Sonos people...how can you exist as a brand, company, whatever? Really. Is it because of the marketing??How the f is possible that in 31 December 2024 to have the same issue with "need to login as system owner" error???? When this error was brought up by several customers for months already.How can you not give a single s**t about your products? Absolutely insane. What do you work? What exactly have sonos employees done for months, if today a user can encounter the same stupid error??? You products cost a hell lot of money...and after we receive the products we look like clowns trying to do BASIC AND SIMPLE things with your dumb products. Absolutely unbelievable.How the f can we get rid of this error? We tried everything. Unistalled the app, reinstall the app, reset the speakers. What the hell is going on? Noone from sonos is using the products???And how can a SPEAKER in 2024 not have the most trivial and basic feature...BLUETOOTH?!?! It is insane...no other way to explain this...its I

I have two systems which include the Arc, sub, One SL’s, and a Sony tv. One system allows me to controll the tv of course and Arc music without the tv on. The other doesn’t allow me to control the arc without tv when listening to music. Both TV’s  /remotes are set to the same settings. Can’t figure out why. I can use my phone only to control arc music volume on the one system when not watching tv. Settings on both TV’s for remote say via HDMI…not Bluetooth. Any suggestions? 

 I have a very irregular listening space and currently use 3 ERA 100s and a sub mini. This config is for MUSIC ONLY. I have a Beam Gen 2 in a bedroom for TV audio only. Because of the weird room(s) dynamics I have the 100s positioned 20 feet apart in a triangle formation for a listening area of 770 sq feet. I like the sound of the 100s but just ordered a pair of 300s. 20 feet apart is not ideal for stereo pairing and need to know how badly this will affect Stereo pairing the 300s. They (300s) apparently have better “features” and capacity for more “spacial” sound delivery.  I plan to use the 300s as the “main” speakers with either 1, 2 or 3 100s placed in more “obscure/strategic" locations in the listening space. If I do not pair the 300s how will this affect sound delivery in 770 sq feet of listening area with weird room angles and a 5 foot wide floor to ceiling (open space) wall within the listening area? I listen to Atmos and non-atmos tracks and still hoping to get optimum dispersi

I have 8+ Sonos amps (white), for over a year I have suffered through interruption and stoppage of the music. I have been diagnosed by the highest level support (Atom). And the best response I was given was memory is failing and you need to buy new hardware. It is a significant investment, and hard to believe this is the best solution Sonos can provide. With that said my setup is such that I can’t easily switch to an alternative so I tried to use the discount code provided….and guess what the coupon didn’t work!!!

I just bought 2 Sonos amp to power 4 in wal speakers.  I set them up as surround sound so they unified into a single component. I ran a YouTube video test for 5.1 and front sounds work fine. However the rear sounds seem to be coming from my front speakers instead of my rear sr speakers. Am I missing something?

My connect was working. Then it stopped after I unplugged it to test a new amp. I tried to reset the connect by pressing the play/pause button while I power it on for a min. The light just stays white the whole time , it never flashes amber. Anything else I can try?

I recently bought 2 Ace headphones with the idea connect them to the sound bar. I discovered it's not a feature developed for now. I chose them over beat or Apple headphones (they CAN pairing 2 headphones to apple tv!). Did I choose wrong? Do you “sonos” finally decide add this feature? Active noise cancellation is not made for share it? Thanks.

 Certain playlists I'm using from YouTube music seem to multiply once they get into Sonos for playing, as I go into the queue the playlist goes from 150 songs to 33,000 songs. It's just multiplying the playlist over and over again. This is causing issues with the same songs playing repeatedly. I've tried changing the playlist in YouTube music, I've tried disconnecting from YouTube music and reconnecting, I've tried deleting the queue and trying again, and nothing works.  Please help  Thanks 

Is anybody else observed the quality of the Ace case is poor and the zip design allows it to stick ? I fear the case material also won’t last , is there an improved case planned ? The case also marks easily.

Hi, I’ve connected my Sonos Arc Ultra to my LG G4 via HDMI, which acts as my receiver speakers. I’ve also set up a complete Sonos system using the Sonos app, including the Arc Ultra, Sub 4, and two Era 300s. Here are the issues I’m facing:1. The full Sonos setup (Arc Ultra, Sub 4, and Era 300s) frequently disconnects when used as temporary audio.2. When both the Arc Ultra as receiver speakers and the Sonos home theater setup are connected, I can’t control the volume with the Apple TV remote. What’s the best setup and approach to resolve these issues?

I’m a long time user and am totally disappointed and disgusted with the latest app version. To make it even worse, I changed ISP network provider yesterday and I cannot connect or even add the Wi-Fi address in my listing. Seriously! People change service providers all the time and to have a fundamental system change like this so difficult is beyond me. To try and do all these “MacGyver” maneuvers to make a system Work is ridiculous.Someone said to reset my system is not the answer I was looking for. I still have a playlist and a library that I can’t connect to my current system.  This overrated company and the platform is just killing me! What a way to enter the new year with a broken and expensive music system. Thanks for nothing.

Can you control the volume on the ERA Surround sound speakers separately from the RAY

I think this is a request for enhancement. Spent some time searching the community and didn’t find this already discussed.It would be nice if the Sonos PC and Mac apps could be enhanced (or maybe a separate app created) so that a PC or Mac and its connected speakers could serve as a Sonos “speaker.” That is, it would appear in the Sonos app in the list of devices in the Sonos system and could be grouped with other Sonos speakers.For example, when I play music from iTunes on my PC, using AirPlay I can send the sound to any or all of my Sonos speakers and the computer’s connected speakers, all nicely sync’d. When I’m playing music from Pandora using the Sonos app, I’d like to be able hear that in the room where my computer and its speakers are.Well, looked some more and found this. Sounds like the old-timers know this (fairly obvious) idea has been around and rejected for years. Also, it sounds like one could put a Port in-between the PC and its speakers and accomplish this at considerab

The software is impossible for me to understand.  I tried to add this new speaker to the Group of whatever it is supposed to be.  I just want to listen to music and not spend hours navigating crap software.  I think I have spent more time messing around with the app than I have listened to the actual speakers play sound.  How hard can it be to simplify the software.  I think go back to the way it originally was when you guys first started this dog s*** company.Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

I have a Sonos one, Play 3 and Move and up until recently I could connect all 3 devices on my ipad and play them independently but now the One and Play 3 can only be seen on my ipad if they are hard wired into the router.I have tried to add them by bluetooth but neither can be seen when searching unless they are hard wired in.Any idea how I can get them back on the ipad without being hard wired in?

how do i use my ipad mini music library as a source for my sonos system?

iPhone app no control.  Can join system and see all devices. Sometimes get a message “unable to control system” web browser does control systemsame symptoms on two iPhones - both were working. Neither are company owned.  Pressing play button on any speaker will start the last source.   Lucky for me I like BBC 6music so at least I have some music. Buying five  Sonos devices to get a single Digital radio station is hardly a good deal   ACTION so far have deleted (latest) iPhone apprebooted iPhone left WiFi network and re-joined   NEXT actionrevert to S1 app? Feels like a huge effort to reset all five devices   

Hi - I haven’t been able to use my Sonos products from my phone in months now. I tried re-installing the app about 10 times, it opens to black screen with white logo, then turns to black screen and crashes. I have seen threads from 6 to 7 months ago with COLOROS users having the same issue, when will it be corrected ? I can wrap my head around the fact that there still isn’t a fix !  Specs of my phone :OPPO A72 COLOROS 11.1Android 11Qualcomm Snapdragon 665I know there is a web app, but it is not a viable long-term fix. There has to be a true corrective.Many thanks in advance for your support.

I have new units, arc connection works, but can get sub 4 to even be found I have rebooted both units and still sub 4 will not connect.solid orange light any suggestions?

Every now and then, SONOS app Sveriges Radio (P4) plays content with several hours delay. It can also start replaying segments from hours ago. Or loop. If I stop, and hit play again, it normally starts broadcasting in real time. Then, after a couple if days, or weeks even it happens again.Anyone else experienced this? Any clue why this happens? 

System goes in and out when changing the channel in my TV.

Yet again I re-installed My Music onto Sonos. It lasted two days and has vanished yet again. Also, although the app shows the Roam is playing, there is no sound and the app can't detect the Roam to attach it to another room.CEO incompetence is often cited as responsible for this car-crash of an app. Perhaps alternatively, it is their desire to actually drive people crazy with this deliberately appalling pile of junk.

Setup: Arc Ultra + 1 Sub 4 + 1 Era 300 + LG G4 TV (using eARC HDMI).Goal: Connect everything to the TV in one Sonos room with synced volume, without relying on my phone for adjustments while watching TV.Issues Encountered:After setup, I end up with two rooms: Family Room and Family Room 2. These can be grouped via the Sonos app, but: Grouping requires the Sonos app every time I watch TV. TV volume doesn’t sync properly with the Era 300 when grouped—its volume needs to be adjusted separately via my phone. The Era 300’s output is slightly out of sync with the Arc audio Question:How can I configure my setup so all devices are in one Sonos room with synced volume, eliminating the need for manual grouping or phone adjustments?

I’m trying to connect my Apple Music account to my Era 300 stereo speakers, and all I’m getting is a spooling circle when Authorising Apple Music account.  I’ve been trying for days, I have an iphone 14pro, all software on my Sonos app and phone is up to date.  My husband connect his account fine, and I connected mine on initial install, but had to do a factory reset on the speakers to set up as stereo and now all I’m getting is the wheel of doom.Can anyone help because it’s really frustrating. 

Almost exactly 2 years to the day after our Sonos Roam started making the ultra loud hammering noise and diagnostics were submitted it did so again this morning - scaring the bejesus out of us. So I come here looking for solutions and find many closed complaints mentioning “horrible”, “jackhammer”, “hammering”, “blaring”, “machine gun”. Evidently this occurrence, while rare, has been happening on at least Roams and Beams for at least two years with no fix yet.I’m curious how many others have had this and has it recurred for you, yet? Do you remember - while having your ears assaulted - to find and hold down the power button for more than 10 seconds to get the damn thing to shut up? Do you consider, as I did, hurling the device as far as you can out the door in disgust?
