Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I was attempting to create a surround pair for my new Sonos Arc and when I went through the setup in the app, I realized I could not mix the surround pair.  I have two Sonos ONEs and two Symfonisk Lamps (the previous generation, not the current ones).What I wanted to do was use one of the ONEs and one of the Lamps as the surround pair to my Arc.While I was setting it up in the app, it picked up those 4 speakers and asked which one I wanted to use as the surround.  On selection of the first speaker, if it is the Sonos ONE that I selected, it will then ask if I want to use the second Sonos ONE to pair with, but it will not let me choose the Symfonisk speakers.  Alternatively, if I select the Symfonisk as my first speaker, it will ask if I want to use the second Symfonisk to pair with, but not the Sonos ONEs. When I googled mixing the two, it seems to be possible, but maybe I'm misunderstanding something?Could someone advise if this is correct behaviour, and I just won’t be able to do wha

 Hello, I have a black line on my Sonos Arc Ultra White, do you have that on yours too? It's not really visible in the photo but in real life yes, it stands out too much with the white of the product I have the impression that it's a small manufacturing defect​​​​

Every time I get rude help . And 3600 hundred bucks in speakers and I spend half the time giving up or jumping through hoops to make it work . Very frustrating.  Hey Sonos you let me down big time and you SUCK!!!!!

Hello everyone, I am very interested in the Sonos ACE headphones. However, I probably have a different use case than many of you here. I only want to use Bluetooth very rarely (e.g. when traveling).I'm looking for headphones that I can use wired most of the time in the office. So I have a few questions and would really appreciate your feedback: 1. My understanding is that Bluetooth is completely switched off when I use the headphones with the USB-C to USB-C cable. Is that correct? That would be perfect for me!2. can I also use the wired microphone for Teams Calls (on my Macbook)? Does that work?3. does the ANC also work if I have connected the headphones via USB-C to USB-C cable? Thank you very much for your answers!

I replaced my Arc with an Arc Ultra. I moved my Arc to another room. I’ve noticed the audio decoding on Netflix does not work properly. 5.1 on several shows has decoding issues where the music on a show is very low or missing. For example, the music is Derry Girls in many scenes is missing or very low. I don’t get this issue on Arc. The only way to work around the problem on Netflix is change audio to stereo. All the other streaming services seem to work fine. Lord of the rings on Prime for example sounds amazing. Sonos support could not help, telling me to contact Netflix. Not great.  My setup is Arc Ultra, sub 4, sub 3, 2x Era300

I’m running a 7YO Playbar with two Play surrounds and a subwoofer. Everything has worked fine until recently. I can control my system through the app on my phone, but I recently installed OSX 15 (Sequoia) on two of my Macs and now can no longer connect to my system from either Mac. I just downloaded and installed the most recent Sonos app and that didn’t change anything. The app is giving me a message saying my Mac firewall settings need to be adjusted, but I’ve tried both firewall on with Sonos inbound connections allowed, and firewall completely disabled, and neither has worked. My wife’s Mac is still running OS X 14.7 and I can connect through that Mac and desktop app without any problems, it’s just the ones that have been updated to OS X 15.Any suggestions on anything else I can try? As I said, I can use my phone, but I like using the desktop app when I’m sitting at my computer.

Hello!! I’ve been a Sonos user for a while now but have a few questions regarding my amp. I have a home system with multiple Eras (100s and 300s), One SL, Play 3, Move, Roam and a pair of Klipsch AW 525s hooked up to a Sonos amp. After doing some research the Klipsch’s are 8 Ohms with 75W of handling. I’m a looking to add another pair of speakers to the amp but am wondering if I can do with a pair of 100W 8 Ohm speakers. Can I do this or would this be to much for the amp to handle and would I have to get a separate amp for this?

Recently bought a Lp&No1 Bluetooth capable turntable and two ERA 100’s.  Both the turntable and the Sonos speakers work individually, but I cannot get them to pair over Bluetooth.The procedure in the LP Manual is:Turn on the turntablePlace the speaker in pairing modeSwitch the turntable to Bluetooth modeThe blue light will flash, then turn solid when paired, it never turns solid and the two devices are right next to each other.Now, I can get this turntable to connect via bluetooth to my phone, no issues, but  that’s because I have an interface I can press ‘accept’ on - I don’t have that on the turntable - so, they just sit there and stare at each other.I’m pretty annoyed if the answer is “sorry” like I highly suspect it is.

I am a little concerned about all the posts that talk to the 75ms input delay.  That may be the major issue throw my way as a deal breaker but I thought I’d still ask.I have an old ZP120 amp. We do a bit of karaoke at home with a little speaker with colourful light (kids love it). However, we can't get enough microphones connected for a decent singalong. My thought was buying a 4 way Bluetooth microphone mixer (with 6.35mm output jack), that I could connect with a 6.35mm to RCA cable, and plug that into the Sonos amp with speakers plugged in direct. We'd use TV to play the karaoke itself (music and lyrics) separate to this setup (alongside a disconnected whirly disco light). No use of the S1 app, just connectivity. Does that sound like it would work or does someone see an issue?

I have a beam connected with One SLs in the lounge and the surrounds regularly stop producing sound and require updating, which fails every time. Unless I plug it directly into the router. producing error 30 or some similar variation.  In another room I have a beam connected to 2x play:1’s they never need updating and work perfectly. Never disconnect. All on the same network.  what can I do to stop this happening, it’s getting very annoying.  thanks 

I am thinking of upgrading to the new Arc Ultra (currently running the previous gen).  My current setup is Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3, and (2) One SL’s as my surrounds. I’m also considering adding the Sub Gen 4 for a dual-sub setup.Question, with Dolby Atmos and the new Arc Ultra, could I add a second set of ceiling-mounted surrounds which would be positioned above and behind my (2) One SL’s?  Can the Sonos Arc Ultra pass audio to the (4) surrounds properly when Dolby Atmos is played?Thanks!

How can I confirm a wired network connection on the Sonos Arc Ultra? It keeps switching back to Wi-Fi without confirming the wired connection.

Simple, play music turn up the volyme. If your People cant fix this. Solution, sell the **** and never go back. Its not cheap and you are NOT capable to deliver. Pathetic, good product, wath can we do, i know!! HiNot sure what's happened or how long this has been going on.I mostly listen to a local library of music on my NAS.  I've got a number of playlists in m3u format.When i open the playlist in the android app and replace the queue with the playlist, it adds the tracks over and over again until there are >64000 tracks in the queue.  The playlist has about 1500 tracks in it.I'm at my wits end with this app and this is a new discovery today.Any clues?  Thanks.

This has happened a few times recently. While watching a movie, the sound volume will drop momentarily, and a voice (obviously automated CG) says “Yes?”. This doesn’t seem to be in response to anything said in the movie. It is not Alexa, but a polite gentleman’s voice.It seems to be an automated response, but not sure why it is happening. Any ideas?

Hi, I’ve been watching premium content via a few streaming apps, Dolby Atmos sounds perfect via the Beam 2.  Today I’ve noticed that my Disney + premium app will not play Dolby Atmos through the Beam.  If I disconnect the Beam from my Philips TV, the TV plays Dolby Atmos perfectly.  I’ve tried everything, changed cables,  changed/messed around with the TV settings and the Beam settings.  In the end I’ve contacted Disney support to see if they could help and I’ve been told that Disney doesn’t support Dolby Atmos through external speakers including the Sonos Beam 2, only 5.1.  I’m slightly miffed at this.  Is this correct, and if so, anyone know a work around for the Beam 2 to get Dolby Atmos?

If I connect a cd player via line in to my era 300 pair can I stream it to my era 100 in another room? 

I have looked through many posts on this forum and have come to the conclusion that I’ll never be able to return to the days when I was able to listen to all the tracks I downloaded onto my PC.  I don’t like using the Sonos App on my iPhone (which in any event can’t take the latest version of the app) but I do like the quality of sound coming from my speakers.The strange thing is, although the tracks on my Sonos Playlists always slip so that only about 5% play right through, I have no trouble with the few downloads I have on my Deezer Favorites playlist (I can’t remember  why I set up a Deezer Favorites playlist)I like my Sonos speakers so what alterntive use can I put them to?

- Scenario: I have my phone, I’m at the beach (no wifi), I have 2 speakers (maybe two Roams or two Moves or whatever portable combination)- Question: Why am I not able to play the music on both speakers?  I have the Roam 2, the Move 2, I think they have Bluetooth 5.0, is it a limitation of the Bluetooth?I remember my years-old JBL speakers playing all together with Bluetooth… so what am I missing here?  Is Sonos not focusing on portable speakers at all? I need speakers that work together at home and I also can use them outside.  I would love to hear a technical reason for the lack of this capability And no, I’m not looking for workarounds, like bringing two phones, changing the SSID of the hotspot and all that jazz

Hi - I just bout a Sonos beam gen 2 but I’m having issues in connecting it with my LG50QNED tv. Basically, when I start the tv set up in the Sonos app and insert the HDMI cable in the HDMI arc port both the Sonos and the tv don’t recognise that the cable is inserted. I’ve tried factory reset, unplug and plug, etc. Is this a common issue?

Is bluetooth an option for Play 1?

I created a big playlist in Sonos from a bunch of Spotify playlists.  We then changed the linked Spotify account and all the songs are now greyed out.  I changed the linked Spotify back to thd original but they are still greyed out.  Any idea how I can get them back?  

Sonos support helped me set up a music library on my desktop and it worked.  When I tried it the next day it didn’t work unless I turned the firewall off.  The settings allow incoming connections for Sonos and File Sharing (SMB).  Automatically allow built in software to receive is also on.  I obviously don’t want to leave the firewall off.  Any ideas please?

I just started using foobar2000 and to my delight found that it can push content to the Sonos system. This works fine on my Connect:Amp and Roam:SL, but something strange happens on the paired Plays (L and R).Selecting one of the plays results in a UpNp failure in foobar2000. Selecting the other one works fine, but then content only comes from one of the Plays (in this case, “L”). I can tell from the music that it is only left-channel content; the right channel is being lost. I can’t see a way in the app (either desktop or mobile) to group the two Plays and have foobar2000 see them as joint stereo. Even more strange, when I stop foobar2000 and go to normal Sonos content (saved Shoutcast station, for example), the “R” Play is gone, and content only comes out of “L”. It’s almost as if foobar2000 knocked it off the network. I can restore “R” but I have to do it through re-pairing devices again. I found some foobar2000 components that seemingly addressed this issue, but they’re all Windows
