Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a new setup with Arc Ultra, sub4, and 2 era 100 speakers.  Everything seems to be working properly except the volume from the speakers does not adjust with the tv volume.  If I mute the tv the speakers continue to play.  Any suggestions?

I have a Beam2 paired with 2 Era 100s. This system does not reproduce the highs I enjoyed with much older Hifi systems. Background chimes, tambourine jangles, or orchestral bell sounds are missing from the Sonos speakers. Interestingly, my car sound system reproduces the same high frequency sound layers quite clearly on same tracks. Ive played with the treble slide controls without success. My guess is that Sonos just doesn’t include tweeters capable of reproducing these higher frequency sounds. Very disappointing.  Anyone else experiencing same issue?

Hi, I did install a Sonos amp 1 gen with Turntable  on my Sonos system ( 4 x play5 , 2 x play3) .sound from Turntable is perfect to All my sonosspeakers in All the rooms but I have no sound on the external speakers which are plugged in the amp. Statuslight on the amp is continous white , so ok. what is the problem?

I currently use my Beam as a soundbar for my Samsung TV. I want to continue to do this but also to begin using it as a speaker for a Bluetooth turntable. Could I achieve this by using a Bluetooth adapter and an HDMI splitter so that I don’t have to keep swapping between the different sources? 

Hey Sonos,Could you clarify the situation with Last.fm integration? Initially, it disappeared from the mobile app but was still accessible on the desktop version and functioning in the background. However, it now seems to be entirely unavailable.Could you please confirm if there are plans to restore this feature soon? Thank you.

Hello,After connecting the ARC Ultra to my Sony KD-65X9300D via the HDMI ARC port I find that when I turn of the TV and it’s left in standby for some period e.g. overnight, then the next time I turn the tv on it does a complete reboot. This can take 3-5 mins to complete and is totally annoying. Anyone come across this? Any suggestions on how to config the ARC or the TV? Granted it’s an old model tv, still I don’t see why connecting something to a HDMI port (I have a Pioneer Blu-ray and a no-name internet video receiver connected as well) can cause this problem. The Sony tv performed perfectly before this albeit there were a few hiccups occasionally which simply required powering off and on at the wall to correct.  thanks. 

I usually use my Roam to play in the kitchen while the Beam and Era 100 x2 play in the loungeroom. The beam is connected to a Panasonic TV via the Viera HDMI connection. The TV is connected to my Optus router via WiFi which is in the dining room off the kitchen. It is common for the Roam to suffer interference when playing music, but not when playing conversations on You Tube for instance.Since the Roam is in the same room as the Router (sitting atop a sideboard about 2m above floor level) I am puzzled as to the cause of the interference. I am assuming that the Roam is connecting directly to the router, but is that correct? Does it connect to the Beam? The Beam and Roam are not on a direct line of sight, There is a laundry between them. The lounge, dining room and kitchen wrap arounfg the laundry in a horsehoe shape.

My Sonos Roam has been unreliable since day one. I thought it was me not pressing hard/firmly/long enough on the  on/off button on the back of the speaker.  Several times I was going to contact the support team shortly after I purchased it but then it worked so assumed it was user error. Today all the system was working, good wifi connection, Roam turned on, lights displaying - not a sound even though the app said otherwise. The app then stated not connected. I turned it on, off, on again, off completely pressing top and back buttons, leaving a few minutes, turned on again. Still no connection despite app. stating otherwise momentarily. Please either sort it out or replace it with  a working Roam. Thank you in anticipation.

My speakers are in a photo studio and I want other people to be able to play their music on them. 

I have an Era 100, which I was using only for music streaming (Spotify)Recently I have bought a Panasonic TV and paired the Era100 with it.The problem is, how to use the TV remote, tu volume up and down, as right now is useless.The only way to use volume, is with the slide on the TV, which is really uncomfortable.Another thing which I noticed is: if I am selecting the TV out, and the Era100 is paired, then the sound comes from TV speaker and Era100, which is annoying THANKSSteve

About six months ago my Sonos would randomly just not work from the app. It would work for a few days and then not for a few. Finally it completely stopped and I reset and reinstalled the speakers and app. All was well for a couple of days. Then one speaker would play a different station from the other speaker.  Went through the same reset and reinstall process. Also unplugged routers. Now only one speaker shows up on the app. I heard that Sonos recently updated their "system" and things have been glitchy since then. Any advice, suggestions appreciated. Such a great product, very disappointed that I have to go through the reinstallation process every few days. 

I have created a stereo pair with my Beam and 2 Play 1s. The connection worked well and I did the Trueplay tuning. However I am watching TV with my beam and am now trying to select my stereo group. The option is available and all speakers show online but whenever I select it the option never activates. Any help how to get the option to actually select and hold please.

Please oh please can there just be some way to clear all music so each speaker doesn't show something different when you never intend such a thing. Is Sonos ever going to add this much desired feature?It is so very frustrating… to go from maybe a few days ago listening to one speaker, and a few days later it's still showing that.   You can't unclick all, which would be a simple solution.  Help?

I’ve had Sonos speakers for over a decade so am well versed in issues and resolving them. That said I am at a point with a relatively new Sonos One SL (Oct 2023) where I’m close to ditching the thing.  Almost every month, for no reason we can fathom, it disconnects from the system and I have to go through the entire factory reset, setup from scratch. It’s the only thing that works. Even then I often have to do this several times until, again for no obvious reason, it returns to the system.  the other speakers are and have always been rock solid - two ancient Play 1 and a very old Playbar. This sound familiar to anyone - any help would be appreciated. 

Does anyone have experience with concealing a Sonos Amp in a dedicated recessed media box behind a Samsung Frame TV? I’m obviously most concerned with heat build up and ventilation. Thanks ahead of time!

I have a gen1play5 which is not being seen by S1 app having done as many fixes as possible with technician and my own research. I have newer S2 system speakers also. Can I set up the gen1 play 5 in a wired way with some S2 speakers?

Help! I have Amazon Music unlimited in New Zealand, and it's driving me inane trying to get it work with the Sonos App. I can't just add it as a service but have to use a convoluted process with Alexa and it just doesn’t work nicely. I can’t easily select different music for different rooms, and today nothing would work for my wife on her phone. I really don't want to have to swap to another streaming service again. Can anyone tell me why I can't simply add a service in the Sonos app? Amazon Music is available in New Zealand. I have a family account. Especially after how much I have invested in Sonos products since December 

For years I have streamed SirusXM music (or my Apple/iTunes Music Library) to all of my Sonos speakers, mostly Play5 and Roam, but now they can only be played from my iPhone 15 to the speakers,  My iPad sees the speakers but the sound does not come out of the speakers and it eventually gives up and stops trying. This problem appeared in the last 1-4 weeks.All Sonos speakers have the current firmware.All Apple devices are using the current iOS or iPadOS.  No recent network hardware changes.All speakers are accessed via wifi & AirPlay. No ethernet involved.

Is there any way or update that can reduce the minimum delay (75ms) of a Sonos system, to a maximum of 7/10ms ? As it is now, its impossible to integrate properly with another system that cannot be delayed due to live performance reasons.Therefore going to Sonos in this scenario its a deal breaker, unfortunately.Looking forward to your reply and thank you very much for your time.Regards,Miguel Escada 

I have an xgimi horizon ultra projector and it has a eARC HDMI port and a normal HDMI port. I have connected a eARC HDMI cable to Sonos arc and the other hdmi to apple TV. Both the HDMI cables are 25 FT cables and they work fine. I have a PS5 and want to connect that to the projector via a HDMI switch. Sonos mini update issues error :30 and error 1000

Has anyone found a way to confirm that a Sonos Boost is connected using the New App?  In the Old S2 App the Boost would show in both the System listing as well as in the “About My System” listing. Thanks Dave Wilkinson

So I just switched to an ASUS Mesh Network.   The ASUS app shows which mesh node the Sonos devices are connected to, but for whatever reason a bulk on my Sonos Devices show offline (even though they aren’t).  The odd thing is some items are listed twice (offline and online) Some by the IP address and some by the MAC address and some are only listed by the IP address for instance my Sonos Arc Ultra,  my Beam Gen 2, the Move 2. From what I can sort of tell the main speaker show up correctly, but if I have it set to a surround (2 rears and a sub) those devices show up offline by their IP address and online by their mac address. Any idea what is going on here?
