Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

So I just switched to an ASUS Mesh Network.   The ASUS app shows which mesh node the Sonos devices are connected to, but for whatever reason a bulk on my Sonos Devices show offline (even though they aren’t).  The odd thing is some items are listed twice (offline and online) Some by the IP address and some by the MAC address and some are only listed by the IP address for instance my Sonos Arc Ultra,  my Beam Gen 2, the Move 2. From what I can sort of tell the main speaker show up correctly, but if I have it set to a surround (2 rears and a sub) those devices show up offline by their IP address and online by their mac address. Any idea what is going on here?   

Question for those that have switched to running ceiling speakers or are familiar with these options - I currently have a Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub, and two Sonos Ones as surround sound speakers. Due to my layout, the rear right Sonos One is positioned about 10 feet behind the right side of the couch, and the  rear left Sonos One is positioned about 5 feet behind and 4 feet more left than the left side of the couch. If I get a Sonos Amp and a pair of high quality 3-way ceiling speakers directly above the couch, will I get an improved home theater sound than my current setup?

Sonos strikes again. i now need to reconnect to my network even though i didn't make any changes.

I noticed this appeared on my network after installing a Sonos Ray.What is it for?It appears to be a upnp server of some sort.I would like to disable it if possible?I tried support but they didn’t know surprisingly.

When I play music from a Pandora station, Sonos shows the song title “on Napster” instead of “on Pandora”.  What has changed? 

I'm wondering why I'm no longer able to play my Mixcloud content on my Sonos speakers. Adding my uploads to the queue, at first there's nothing (error 1002), but soon after the queue does appear. However, when I try to play the queue, nothing will play. If I try to play an individual song-mix "show" from the list of uploads, I get the error again, and nothing happens. I can play my bought content an Bandcamp okay in shuffle mode. I tried playing a Featured Playlist from Tidal, but got the error again and nothing. I'm not able to clear the Mixcloud queue that's still showing. When I try to play a radio station, after some spinning of the circle I get "Unable to play the radio station".Is this a known problem with Sonos? If so, is it something that will ever be remedied?Further investigation leads me to believe that Sonos is rendering my speaker relegated to the S1 Controller obsolete. Offering me a 30% discount on an upgrade is not something I want or should need to do.

Hi,I just noticed that songs from Youtube Music service are repeated infinitely! If I scroll down a playlist or album, the same songs of the list are loaded again and again (Ex. if I open a playlist with 50 songs and scroll down that list, it does not stop on the 50th song, the app just loads these 50 songs again and again). This happens on some playlist and/or albums, but “unforunately” not on all (some playlists/albums work normally. If I try to load such a playlist/album the queue is filled up with thousands of songs, sometimes over 20’000 songs are loaded into the queue.This leads to heavy performance issues! (Queue flickering, songs are not playing, skipping/selecting songs not working, etc.)It happens in the Android and web app. Not sure if it is a problem of Sonos, or the Youtube service plugin.Anybody else facing this problem?

Impossible to connect to local streaming radios like One FM, LFM, Rouge FM in Switzerland.it looks like connections works from time to time but always though it is not true with RTS Première and Spotify.What is the issue with these radios?

I have connected my Sonos ace to Sonos beam gen 2 through the app but the sound does not swap. No message on the app to say there's a problem - it appears to think there is a connection but the sound is still coming from the beam and not the ace. I have followed the instructions on the Sonos site but am I missing something?

My system is never found.  I have multiple rooms with Speakers, soundbar, sub and receiver.  It’s so unstable it’s shocking.  Wifi is strong.  There are no issues with connection and proximity to the router.  What can i do???    

I’ve seen similar problems in other topics but not this exact problem. My Roam is blinking white, I hold the power button down and it goes to solid orange then after a few seconds right back to blinking white. Honestly this thing has been a piece of crap right out of the box, problems connecting it as a bluetooth speaker as well. It’s past warranty now and Sonos will give me a 40% discount on a new one, whoopie. Maybe someone else has been able to troubleshoot this same problem. Sonos support wasn’t able to. If I can’t get it to work it’s going to get the sledgehammer treatment which at least will feel good for a few minutes but I’d like to save the speaker if anyone can help!

Am facing error 30 on an update to Sonos sub mini.i tried all steps mentioned( getting close to router , restarted my device and router , connected mini with cable to router ) . But still facing error .I reset my sub mini, now unable to add - as the last step it is checking for update and going for error 30.how can I overcome this issue.   

Well I see SONOS promoting the ace headphones with £100 off.So I go to buy them then up pops a 30% discount trading in an old bit of kit which takes it to £314I then find on line retailers are selling without discount them at £299. I immediately cancel the order citing misleading discounts and trade ins,Nope doesn't get cancelled arrives via UPS, three attempts to get the proper label and collection a the carrier is forty miles away for drop off. Booked collection for last Tuesday of course no showOh and then the return isn't even  this country Poland so I get a customs declaration for value of £62 that's how much you are being ripped off, I had just about had it with them after months of problems with the disaster software upgrade.Dragging on for weeks and all the time have my money

Hi.  I normally kept my One SL volume pretty low, about 10 or 11 on the slider scale.  Now I have to turn up to 30 or 40 for the same sound level.  Was there a change to the software volume levels?  I’m worried the volume will return to previous levels and the sound will be really loud.Thanks,JK

Este funciona con la app sonos 2.  Entonces no consigo de tener todo el sistema conectado con una sola app. Realmente es una lástima, porque he invertido en sonos por su flexibilidad… además desde que he cargado la app sonos 2, no consigo tener el control de mis altavoces y 1, 5, y sub)… en síntesis he perdido en com¡trol de mis sonos. I have an Arc and I am logged in, but the app is still asking me to log in as system manager.How to do that?

I raised a similar issue before but no response from sonos at all. Are you guys listening? Teams calling is horrible. All the background noise is passend through to the People in my calls and I am regularly muted because of thuis. Please fix or explain how I can fix thuis with my settings or at least reply that you acknowlegde thuis issue and can reproduce the observation. Have some decency to value the feedback. Thank you

I’m so sick of this, but how in the world is the Volume Control still so laggy????  Volume control has a total mind of it’s own.  I just blew my in-laws out of the room because all the sudden my volume went to 11 (yes - Spinal Tap reference).  COME ON, fix the basics. Volume Control = SUCKS! Speaker Selection = SUCKS!This is what I paid for, simple home audio.  It used to be simple when I started purchasing Sonos 10+ years ago.  Now, a decade later (and me investing thousands and thousands of dollars of hardware), I have a system that works about as well as what you would expect a $19.99 speaker from the local drug store to work.  COME ON SONOS - FIX THIS ALREADY.

I added a projector in my living room where I have a TV and Arc Ultra setup.  When using my projector I want to get sound to my arc and the only thing I can get to work is through an AV Receiver.  I have my projector to AV unit along with media devices and then using Bluetooth to connect to my Arc.  The issue I am having is volume limitations.  I have looked and searched for any answers as to why it is so quiet. Any help is greatly appreciated! 

One of my three Play1 speakers has started to misbehave. It only wants to be solo.All efforts to group it with another Sonos speaker gives me “unable to connect to device. try again later".The system is several years old.  Other than a recent Roam2 addition. Why has one speaker gone weird?Tried so far: -Power off & on.System updates treble checked.Most recently I switched the troublesome speaker from Sonosnet Wireless to Wired

Approximately once a day, the app prompts me to sign in.With the old apps/controllers, I stayed signed in for 15 years... Am I missing something?

Can I hard wire connect two audio sources simultaneously, such as a turntable and a CD or other audio player, to Amp? Amp only has one line in option and I hate the idea of plugging and unplugging every time. And I'm too cheap to buy two amps. Or even an amp and Port.My first thought would be to use amp for one input and use one of my Era100s for another, which would then stream to all of my aero 100s and move simultaneously. Would this be the best avenue or is there another? An audio input switcher or splitter? Would prefer not to use Bluetooth.
