Has there been any official word from Sonos that acknowledges that they removed the alphabet scrolling ability within the with the disaster update last year (that is, the ability to scroll through a large library by jumping to the letters of the alphabet)? And if so, has there been any indication on when (or even if) that previous functionality will return?

Uhhh, considering the scrolling by letter isn’t there anymore, I’m not sure what an “official” word that “acknowledges” it was removed is going to do for you. Of course it was removed. But no, there has not been any indication on when or if it will return.

I didn’t think to check the Trello board.
Desktop and third party apps can do it.
To my knowledge Apple Music is the only music service to support it, other than Local Library.
I’m still FURIOUS that A-Z quick was removed.
