Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I just bought the Arc Ultra, the Sub 4 and 2 Era 300. Then found out I don't have eARC on my tv. Will I be able to use all those channels with the optical adapter? I read the optical cable only support 7.1 and the Arc Ultra alone has 9.1.2 and I'm adding the dedicated sub and the 2 surrounds. Will I be very limited in my sound quality?

Am unable to connect the jiosavaan app or play on my Sonos Arc from my phone...

As far as I am aware I have set all the ‘pop up’ and ‘notification’ options to ‘off’ on my account but I am still occasionally seeing adverts from Sonos on my controller. Have I missed a setting hidden away somewhere or are Sonos just ignoring my request?    

The “add the playlist” option seems to have disappeared from the … menu of the songs. I still see “add to favorites”, “play next” etc… but no more proposal to add the song to a playlist.Does anyone know where that option has gone to?

I have a Sonos amp and Sonance outdoor speakers mounted on my house used mostly to stream music for listening on my deck. During the summer we do outdoor movies in the backyard. I planned to use an arc (recently upgraded to ultra so have the old one around) for the sound and would like use the Sonance speakers as surrounds. Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to modify my Sonos settings for my outdoor “room” in the app every time?

Everytime I try to use the Sonos Ace I have to spend 30 minutes trying to get sound to come out from them and get nothing. I’ve tried switching bluetooth on and off re-pairing, turning off TV swap and nothing works consistently.I don’t know how Sonos could have messed up simple bluetooth connections so much, and multipoint seems to be a complete joke.This morning I’ve tried repairing, switching on/off, everything, and still no sound. These will be getting sent back for a refund.

Is it normal behaviour for the Sub 4 to produce a soft thump after 10 seconds of pausing whatever is playing? Background: connected to arc gen 1 and happens whatever the input (eg hdmi, air play etc) No other thumps or pops during playback etc. Some threads seems to suggest it may be normal indicating going from active to idle, but other have said it’s not normal - so a little unsure if I should be returning or keeping. Thanks!

Considering Ace purchase and reading reviews - Seems like most issues reported could easily be addressed by Sonos. Any guesses on when an Ace Model 2 might be released? 

Sonos 1 app does not work anymore?!? My 4 sonos gen 1 products are useless now. So angry

I got my Sonos Ace headphones in August 2024.  I don’t use them much but they work very well when switching between my Headphones and Sonos Arc soundbar.  The headphones have always seemed uncomfortably hot but for the last month I experience severe itching and can only wear about 20 minutes.  I think the Ace may be causing an allergic reaction.  I have ordered replacement pads from Sonos.  I was wondering if any regular Sonos users have experienced this problem.  Has anyone found another solution?Thanks 

I have Sonos Beam gen 2 installed to my TV and have now installed 2 new Era100 as surround speakers. It works but every now and then the sound in the Era100 is interrupted for a few seconds and then it is fine again. The problem occurs both via sound from the TV or if I play music.

Update last week my Sonos Ace now have an issue battery won’t last even in off mode charge last night now try to use no battery at all. (Any tricks to resolve this issue? 

My living room is a bit awkward in my opinion. I have a wall right next to my couch and right behind my couch. But the other wall is off a little ways. I have the arc ultra and I’m adding the era 300’s my question is how high to mount them. Plus where they should be facing as well. I will include pictures  

I have a Mac Mini with two Moves in stereo. Took me forever to get them setup with multiple support calls. However, they still disconnect or have a massive delay before they ‘refresh’ themselves. Now I’ve moved and have a new WiFi setup. I’m practically about to commit suicide trying to get them to work again. Super annoying and not a product worth the money they cost me. I wish I could return them, because I’m really close to throwing them in the trash. One of the worst products I have ever purchased.

My SONOS system keeps failing to connect to various speakers even though i have Fibre to my house and good WIFI in the home. Why is this happening and it is very annoying.

Does anyone have an idea if Dolby atmos passthru can work through some of the cheaper LG nano tvs or not? Say, 75NANO82T6B? I have an Apple TV I use to watch most things that would supply the Dolby atmos, so I’m not needing the tv to natively handle it through its own apps, then passing via e-arc to Sonos arc (at present, hoping to upgrade to ultra).I asked lg but I think they misunderstood me asking if the tv itself could handle it. I’m thinking as long as e-arc it will pass the signal on?!ThanksChris 

Hola, I bought last week two Sonos Ace (black and white) thinking that it was possible to use them to watch tv together with my partner. But NO, is not the case. Unfortunately is not possible. Only one can use the Sonos Ace to enjoy theatre and films on TV.When it would be possible this option and when will have the new update with that?Thanks. Sincerely Jordi 

Hi, I’m writing to you from Poland. I have a problem with my Sonos Move 1 speaker. I’ve recently changed home router for a new one and now I cannot connect the speaker. I’ve tried many different things, suggested on sonos website. I even contacted the customer service and chatted with one guy, but he was unable to help me, suggesting that these thing needs further investigation and I should call their help line. Before I do, which is pricy, I want to ask you for help.  While trying to connect the speaker I’ve restarted the app, the speaker itself and it still doesn’t work.I’m sending you a screen recording of me, trying to somehow reconnect Sonos, helplessly failing to do so. There is a reported bug fix coming mid-June 2024. Hi everyone! I have an old Sony sound system that I would like to incorporate into my current Sonos set-up and I am not 100% sure of which components I would need, and how to set-up the connections.The Sony has two stereo speakers (impedance 6 Ohm & 70W of power handling capacity each) and an interconnected module CD player + cassette player + EQ. (pictures below)I already own two Sonos Era-100 that have been paired as stereo pair in a room group.As a minimum, I would like to add the Sony speakers to the Sonos Era-100 room group, so that I could use the SVC to control the music and have it play from both the Era-100 and the two Sony.To do this I am pretty sure I need to buy the Sonos Amp (can it hold both speakers?) and connect both speakers there, I will also need some adapters but I am not sure which ones yet.Ideally, I would also like to use the CDs and cassette player as a Line-in option  into my Sonos system.For that, which Son

My setup keeps stopping being able to play music from Yousee. I have to reauthorize 3-4 times a week. I guess this is not normal - at least it didn’t use to be like that.

HalloHabe seit dem Wochenende ein Problem mit meiner Arc. Sie macht im laufenden Betrieb, egal ob über TV-Box oder PS5, immer mal wieder Neustarts. Die Arc ist über HDMI am TV angeschlossen, sowie die TV-Box und die PS5. Ton auf einmal weg und die LED am Arc blinkt weiß, nach zirka 30-60 Sekunden ist der Ton wieder da. I tried pairing my Sonos Ace headphones with another device after having added them to my iphone and I couldnt pair them back in my phone. I had to factory reset them but it was super difficult to repair them back in my sonos app despite the headphones were appearing in my bluetooth settings. The app were not recognizing the headphones. This is innaceptable for headphones at this price point (500 USD)! 😡
