What did Spotify say? Given that you’re using AirPlay 2 to send the podcast, that suggests that Sonos software, other than the part receiving a signal, isn’t involved. And it’s even odder if it is only podcasts, and not music, which suggests no issues with your network, or AirPlay 2, but instead a problem at the source of the stream, which is a server owned by Spotify.

What happens when you play Spotify podcasts via the Sonos app, rather than casting to the speakers?
Just as a further note, as far as I’m aware, the server that Spotify has given Sonos instructions to connect to is a completely different server than they connect to using Spotify’s own client. On the one they point the Sonos software to, they include Sonos’ connection API, on their own connection server, Spotify doesn’t. So when you’re connecting with your Sonos controller, you’re reaching out to a different server than when you’re using Spotify’s own software (and using either Bluetooth or AirPlay 2 to connect to the Sonos).

Unfortunately I can’t??? They’re just grayed out!
