I'm fed up with Sonos products that can't stream music from my Apple Music service. I'm not even talking about the multiple bugs with speakers that lose connection to the network or the app that changes the name of the speakers as it pleases. I'm going to abandon this brand that is getting worse every year if all the problems aren't resolved quickly.
I have seen a few posts about this issue this morning but the Sonos Services are all operational, so this may be something on Apple’s side:

But the other issues you are having like names of speakers changing, points to your Home Assistant settings. Change the name there also.
Speakers losing connection is primarily a network issue that can be resolved by following these guidelines:

No, Apple Music works perfectly with my kids' Amazon Echo Dot speakers.
Furthermore, there are no problems with my network. I have more than 20 connected devices that don't lose connection, unlike the Sonos speakers. And, I don't use the Home app.
The recurring problems do indeed come from Sonos.
Then I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of recreating this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
Same Problem, since 5 days, when I want to stream Apple Music from Alexa voice, it leads to an error in the Sonos App :
Impossible to read “the track”. The connexion to you play.itunes.apple.com has been lost.
it works fine with Alexa and Amazon music. Only AppleMusic has this issue on the sonos app.
It is an issue because you always need the phone to use the speakers.
If you have any idea of the cause (and solution )
regards,
Exactly the same. I dont know if it come from Sonos, Alexa or Apple Music.
Although the Sonos app indicates that the Apple Music service is connected, when I go to my Apple account settings, access the Apple Music account, Sonos does not appear in the list though Alexa is connected.
I don't have the solution.
I have the same problem as the post above- I can play Apple Music through the Sonos but when requested through Alexa voice control it just scrolls through about 6 songs saying connection lost on each one, until eventually it gives up and tells me it can’t do that right now. It has been like this at least 3 days.
I’ve restarted the Sonos system, and de and reauthorised Apple Music on both Alexa and Sonos. I’ve yet to do a full factory reset so if someone has the cure before I get totally fed up and try that I would be very grateful!
Thanks!
There is an issue at the moment. This isn’t the only thread to highlight this. Maybe someone from Sonos will respond as the complaints are getting more numerous…
Seems to have been solved! I can ask Alexa to play music from AppleMusic now!
No modification of any setting on my side but now it works fine.
they must have changed something.
good news.
regards
Same here. I can now play Apple Music with Alexa on my Sonos again. I hope it will work without any problems from now. Thank you guys for your support.
