I have 2 sonos Roam speakers. One of which will not connect. I have not used this one for several months. All I get when placed on charger is the orange light but this goes out for after a couple of minutes then nothing. I’ve tried a different charger same thing.
Hi all, I’m trying to set up a sonos roam sl but nothing seems to work. It doesn’t respond at all (even when pressing the power button for 15+ seconds) at all after disconnecting from the charger after charging for an hour (with the correct charger). When plugging in, the battery light quickly flashes red then the status light flickers white and then stays solid white. When opening the sonos app, to finalize the setup it says to update the speaker but whenever I try, I get a 1016 error. When clicking on how to fix, it says to disconnect the speaker and factory reset but then the previous problem comes up as nothing happens when I disconnect the charger. Also no noise comes out of the speaker at all when I press any buttons. What do I do?
I have a Sonos Roam 2, and for the past two days I haven’t been able to connect it to my Apple devices via AirPlay. The issue occurs both at my office and at home. I have already tried everything I can think of, but the speaker does not appear in the AirPlay device list. The Roam 2 is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as my Apple devices.Bluetooth works perfectly, and the Sonos app also works without any issues. The only problem is connecting the speaker via AirPlay. At home, I have other devices connected through AirPlay, and they work without any problems, so the issue seems to be specifically with the Roam 2.Could you please help me troubleshoot and resolve this issue
I have an issue with my Sonos Roam where the volume will drop from high to low when streaming Spotify. I've tried factory resetting the Sonos Roam. I've tried moving it closer to the router and it only happens on my Sonos Roam and not on my Sonos Move which is on the same network. It even happens when the two speakers are paired together and it only happens on the Roam. Submitted diagnostics Moderator Edit - Recorded and removed diagnostics.
Sonos app says Roam2 battery is depleted. I can not power up the Roam2
I recently set up Sonos save to my 5 cd changer . Worked wonderfully and was loving it . But now my cd system shows it’s playing the track on the cd but the music won’t play . The speaker is on and I have rebooted each. Still nothing !! Help ???
Hey guys, I’ve owned a Sonos Move 2 for about a year now. In my house there’s a system setup for an arc home theatre, and I had my Move 2 on its own separate system (these systems are 2 separate Sonos accounts as well). I realized last month that my Move 2 no longer showed up in the app, but it still worked over Bluetooth.I Finally set myself to fixing the setup, and did a factory reset on the move to reconnect it. However when I choose to setup a new system with it, it gets as far as having completed the WiFi connection and then fails to make a new system, causing my speaker to be lost.Specifically, it gets to the point where the app informs me that my Move has been added to the system, and that it will likely need to be reset in order to be seen. At this point the app fails to actually make a new system, I find myself connected to the existing home theater system. when my Move 2 finishes resetting it’s just non-existent in the app, with no new system created. I’ve tried re-installing
Maybe I'm missing something, so I'm asking before I drive myself crazy.I'm using my Sonos Move over Wi-Fi through the Sonos app. At some point it ends up flashing blue, disappears from the Sonos app, and I have to get it back onto Wi-Fi before I can use it the way I normally do.Is this really the intended behavior? If it is, I'd honestly like to understand the thinking behind it. I almost never use Bluetooth, so I find myself wondering why there isn't a simple option to disable Bluetooth mode for people who don't need it.What advantage does this design provide? Maybe there's a use case I'm not seeing. If this is intentional, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing why Sonos chose this approach. If I've overlooked a setting or there's an easier way to prevent this from happening accidentally, I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks.
My two move sonos are setted up as pair of stereo by themselves in a room . Im trying to turn on truplay on the app , and it ask me to turn on the microphones to be able to use trueplay , the issue is when I touch the microphone on each speaker finically nothing happens , they stay off, microphones don't light up , then im not able to use truplay. ( just as reference, before I was able to turn them on ) this issue is recent .
For several years I've been enjoying my Sonos system at home and my cottage. When going to the cottage, I pack my two Roams and oncr I set them up originally on my cottage wifi, they would connect upon power up. Lately, the Roams are not found on the cottage wifi and I have had to factory reset them and set them up. Then I have to do the same when I return them home. This is getting tiresome and I think it should be easier than this. Any ideas?
My Sonos move is missing from app, usually fix probs myself but unable today. Sonos te h tell me to interfere with my Sky router reducing 5 ghz to 2.5 GHz. I’m a not tech savvy woman aged 75 who is terrified of interfering with router. Sky says I shouldn’t, Sonos says I should. HELP! I’ve NEVER been ask by Sonos to change anything in router, they have ALWAYS managed to get my system up and running by having me running from room to room switching this on and off, you all know the procedure, exhausting. Extra exhausting today, still without my old beloved MOVE! Any help out there?
Volume keeps turning down on Bluetooth whilst using Spotify
Sometimes when the Move is in a group and I press play, every speaker starts except the Move. It says that it is playing music and I can change volume and stop all speakers by pressing pause on the Move. If I remove the Move from the group and starts the music from the Move and adds all the speakers, everything works fine. I doubt it us the Wifi since it works when the Move is alone and the other added after. How to fix this so that the Move can be added to a group without be the "first" speaker of the group?
Hi there,New Play, added SVC and Alexa. Worked fine at first, then the speaker would stop responding to “Hey Sonos” or “Alexa.”I tried removing Alexa and Sonos voice control and re-adding and that didn’t work. Restarting the Play worked before to get them to respond, but restarting the speaker doesn’t seem to work anymore either.Done everything short of a factory reset because that’s always a headache.any ideas?

Merci pour vos réponses Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:Hello,I have a Sonos Move speaker. The other day, I picked up my phone to disconnect it, but the speaker emitted several system sounds (likely from my phone); even though the process of turning it off via the phone is usually quick, the speaker made at least 8 or 10 of these system noises. My phone's ringer was on, and the keypad sounds were likely enabled. Also, I don't think I heard the little chime the spe
Relatively new sonos user. I have a home system with 2 zones of hardwired speakers driven by sonos amplifiers. Just added 3 x Move 2 speakers that I will place in various rooms for regular use and frequently use as a group of 3 for sound on a patio area that has good wifi reception (same network). The move speakers work well individually indoors and outside and also work fine when grouped with one of the amplifiers / hardwired speakers. When I try to group a Move 2 speaker with another Move 2 speaker, it works for a few seconds, then the audio only comes from one of the Move 2 speakers, even though the app shows additional move 2 speakers are still connected and playing audio. The entire use case for the Move 2 is based on using as a group of 3 outside, so I want this to work reliably.
I recently got the Sonos Move 2. I have had an Apple HomePod in the living room for years, which I absolutely love, the big downside of it is it’s not battery powered so can’t really take it around the house or outside so I got the Move 2 as it’s portable. It’s proved invaluable because the radio stations I listened to on my old DAB radios in the kitchen and bathroom now require DAB+ and being able to play these stations through Sonos is a big plus. However, the one issue I have is the alarm. I have it set every morning to go off with Greatest Hits Radio. Some mornings, it goes off with Greatest Hits Radio. Some mornings it goes off with the alarm tone and no matter what I say to Sonos, the reply is something like “I cannot do this as there are no timers set.” Please tell me what I have to do to (a) Ensure it goes off with the Radio every morning and (b) tell it to switch the chime off when it gets it wrong? Thank youModerator edit: combined posts
My Roam 2 indicates that it’s being charged when on the wireless charger, but the charge slowly drops, about 5% or so per hour, I’ve tried multiple USB chargers including some high wattage ones, and have tried a different Qi-compatible charging pad but so far the Roam just slowly loses charge despite showing up as charging (lightning bolt in the middle of the battery icon). When using the USB-C cable directly into the Roam, it charges up and stays charged.
All of a sudden no sound is some out of my Roam. Sonos app ‘sees’ it and shows audio coming from it, but I hear nothing. Factory Reset twice with no luck. During Reset I hear audio.Play/Sound controls on Roam don’t appear to do anything either.Controlling system via iPad OS27 app.
This product was from startpoor battery, bugs in firmware and now stone deadthis was the last sonos product i will buythere are better alternatives :-)
I had to restart/setup my Roam after changing WiFi network. I went through the factory reset process and everything was connected and set up and my password worked and I got Spotify pulled up in the app, but it won’t play the music.?
HI there!I just got a brand new ROAM SL from my uncle. But when tried to set up the speaker there are problems.First when put my charger on (the official charger),the charging indicator blinks red light ,no orange light and a white led next to the Sonos logo glowing, when I unplug the charger the led goes off and no matter how long I press the power button there’s nothing happen. I googled this problem it says there is something wrong with the battery.Should I just change a battery?Second, when I tired to connect to the app it said your speaker needs an update so that you can use it,but it keeps showing the error code 1016,I tried to change a different WiFi but the problem was still there.
Hi all/anyoneI have a Roam 2 with a Sonos wireless charger and plug.Unfortunately the lead is too short so I added a 1 metre usb extension lead. All worked well but on one occasion the battery discharged overnight, so I replaced the extension lead with another and all was fine but yesterday the wireless base started flashing red so I took the usb extension out and all it all works, but I cannot put the speaker where it needs to go.I’ve found out from the Sonos bot that I need a cable capable of delivering 5v/2a (10w) of power. Has anyone had any luck with this? Thanks for any help.
