Sonos Roam has to be factory reset when I change wifi networks

For several years I've been enjoying my Sonos system at home and my cottage. When going to the cottage, I pack my two Roams and oncr I set them up originally on my cottage wifi, they would  connect upon power up. Lately, the Roams are not found on the cottage wifi and I have had to factory reset them and set them up. Then I have to do the same when I return them home. This is getting tiresome and I think it should be easier than this. Any ideas?

Do you happen to have the same SSID and password setup in both places? Even if you changed ISPs at either location, yoiu can configure their device with the old credentials.

That would make it really simple for the speakers to reconnect in each place.

It should connect automatically, unless you’ve changed anything on the networks.

Thank you. It appeared to work like this before and then just stopped. I've reset the Roams while at home this week and will set them up again at the cottage later this week and will see how we make out.

Possibly an update pushed to one or both networks by your provider changed things?

A diagnostic, once setup, note but don't share the number, at both locations prior to calling Sonos support might help.

Thank you. That makes so much sense.
