Question

Sonos Move not playing in a group

Sometimes when the Move is in a group and I press play, every speaker starts except the Move. It says that it is playing music and I can change volume and stop all speakers by pressing pause on the Move. If I remove the Move from the group and starts the music from the Move and adds all the speakers, everything works fine. I doubt it us the Wifi since it works when the Move is alone and the other added after.

How to fix this so that the Move can be added to a group without be the "first" speaker of the group?

Since all your speakers on Sonosnet work and tne issue is just the one on Wi-Fi you might reconsider where the issue is.

Try disabling SonosNet.  Put them all on WiFi if possible.

I was going to suggest the same as @MoPac.

Move's work on WiFi only and sometimes (my experience) WiFi/Sonosnet interfacing can cause operability oddities...

Also has the advantage that you can ditch the Boost 🤓

Will try this. Happy to ditch the Boost and get back a power outlet.

Aside from ditching tne Boost and gaining an outlet you also open up a Wi-Fi channel and move your Sonos to more modern Wi-Fi connection standards that provide better connections.

Well you do get better connections unless your router is really old, then you should update it too.
