Sonos app not working properly. Having problem loading my system and cannot see my products. Tried deleting the app and reinstall. Still no progress. Please help. Enough of this app not working stuff. thanks 

Why still after 4 months Sonos didn't sort out problem playing Internet Radio stations through MyTuner Radio???Especially foreign internet radio stations. Any current update on it , please??Good I haven't wasted money in buying more speakers from Sonos, yet..

It keeps showing no selection is available, anyone still having this issue?

Since sonos refuses to fix this crappy Android app has anyone found an alternative app that works with all speakers. Thousands of dollars in speakers and nothing to resolve my issues.

I have several Sonos devices around my house, all already grouped by area, my problem is that in the Sonos app I select a different volume in each area according to the volume I want in each area and it looks good, when it comes to uploading the volume with the “general” volume, the app does not move the rooms symmetrically, it changes the volumes of the rooms and that causes the volumes to change differently in each room and it already sounds louder or weaker than the “balance” that I give it had givenThe same thing happens to me if I do it from my IOS phoneDoes anyone know how to solve it?thank you

This is terrible. It’s already November and basically I have 27 speakers that are barely worth their weight.  The volume is completely unresponsive. It can take up to 30 seconds for it to change if at all. If you can’t change the volume to your music, what is the purpose of this entire set up? This is the most basic functionality.Music shown as now playing is often wrong and it takes about 30 seconds or so before the current song information is displayed in the app   Speakers take about 30 seconds or more to group together drop in and out. It is horrible. When displaying a playlist and touch the first item in the list that item does not play. It seems to pick some random song it decides to play. I have no control over it. I had none of these problems prior to this app update at the first quarter of the year and it is baffling as to why this is not fixed yet   Is there any hope out there or does anyone have a

After numerous updates and apologies it is still clumsy to use. The response delay is appalling. Quite often I have to reboot the app for a response. Is this as good its going to get? I can't believe I've just upgraded my system with 3 new 2nd generation speakers on the back of empty promises. 

When I open my Sonos App on my Android Phone many of the tiles do not form correctly. It can take several minutes for them to form. Sometimes they form but when you press them the App changes to a screen "System not Connected". When the App is reset it finds the system again. Then when the tile is pressed I get the message "Something went Wrong". It often takes a couple.od.attempts to make it work. This was working a few months ago but is getting worst with time. I have rebooted my router and restarted the connected Sonos devices.  

I have tried the suggested workarounds to add my LaCie external drive (contains my music library) as a networked device, but I cannot get it to work on my MAC desktop. Has Sonos provided a release date when this error will be fixed? Thank you.

Hi there, When searching on Sonos app for YouTube music playlist/artist or songs then selecting YouTube Music to view more search results, the app crashes.  This happens on iOS 16.1.1. and iPadOS 15.6.1. I have tried another iOS device running same versions as above with same results.  I’m using Sonos 14.20 anyone else experiencing the same?

Yesterday I was suddenly unable to play my music as seemingly could not be found. The only thing that has happened is for first time I allowed Onedrive to sync all my laptop files, and now I cannot see them on my C drive, just Onedrive. However, my C Drive seems still very full as though all my files are still there but I (and SONOS) cannot see them. I am at a loss as I’m not that technical.  Thanks for any help with thisBrian

Keeps saying I have no system...hard to get to my music

Well, I’m at my wits end and never before have I regretted dropping over £1000 on what I thought was a well researched purchase. You know the score, Sonos pushes out probably the worst app update in the history of app development (seriously, if there’s been anything worse I’d be curious to hear about it) and my local music library, one of the things I bought all these speakers for has not worked since.I’ve read and tried everything that the guides suggest to no avail. I can get the app to recognise and add my music library but no content ever appears. Checked all the Smbv2 settings and Windows 11 seems convinced that nothing is wrong. Out of desperation I did a full windows re-install from scratch and of course that didn’t help.Can anyone who’s managed to achieve the seemingly impossible tell me what they did to finally get it working?

The new Sonos app shows no more than 50 items in the album list. This means that it is no longer possible to browse typically older albums of artists who have many, For example David Bowie and Frank Zappa. But there are many many more of course.Will this be solved soon? Is this a known issue?

I have removed sonos app, siriusxm app, removed siriusxm from sonos app and added it back as well as rebooted router and still get ‘something went wrong’ when trying to play anything from siriusxm. streaming works in siriusxm app. 

Why in the world was volume control removed from the iphone app????  This is very frustrating.

The App Volume menu closes within seconds  of opening.  Is there a way to keep the menu open for more than 3 seconds before making a choice?  it constantly closes as I am looking at the different volumes - very frustrating to keep reopening  it appears the only menu with a rapid/ quick dwell time - others remain open until closed 

Have had issue with the indexing of my Nas based Music Library I decided to try an tidy it up at file level.   First I must state that some of the library was impoirted from an iTunes library on my laptop an some was ripped directly into the destination without being “doctored” by iTunes.  Consequently, at Windows file level the shared folder on my NAS contains a variety of entries as follows:Some subfolders are named after the title of the album and contain all the album tracks Some are named after the artist with a subfolder for each album and the individual album tracks in those sub-folders Some have the artist name, with an album sub-folder containing just one track - these are from compilation albums.Before I start re-arranging these files my question is - does Sonos have a “preferred” structure, or do they all have to follow the same standard, or id it totally agnostic to this?   My preference will be to have each album in its own fol

 A few months ago (post the big app update) I followed some advice here to get Swiss Jazz radio working again.This was basically to add a custom URL to TuneIn for the station, favourite it, then browse to TuneIn →  Favourites in the Sonos app and add it to Sonos Favourites. This worked and all was well. Now, this doesn’t work, I can click the link for the station in the Sonos app and it will not play. Other (predefined) stations work on tuneIn so I know the authorisation is okay. I’ve gone back through the steps I followed previously and can’t get it to work, two issues:Attempting to Favourite the station in the TuneIn app whilst its playing does not work, it asks for the name but does not save it - if I go Library the count against Favourites is 0. If I enter that section, there’s nothing there. Even if that did work, I can’t browse TuneIn favourites in the Sonos app, the section is not there under the TuneIn provider.

Well, this is not a first.... is it. The latest sonos app does now not work for Adroid "Says there is a bug" and won't load. Wait for the app to be updated. ????…Also, the NAS drive , in either IOS or Android has not been fixed..... still no access !!!!!An email to say all is well....... unfortunately it is NOT. I despair... it really is a joke. 😡SONOS… you really need to get a grip. !!!

Cannot use SONOS APP in my new iphone. Tried login SONOS APP with my acount , with my partner acount, tried create new acount… reset  the speakers, update the app, unpluge and plug again ….still  CAN NOT find my SONOS speakers. But my old phone still working. Any idea or sugestions, please?

I have read enough recent Community posts about library indexing issues to know I am not alone in continuing to experience NAS drive synching problems following the app update debacle in May.  The Sonos bug fix techs published a simple Trello based planning tool in August.  Is a consolidated list available of how these bugs are materializing in detail?  I ask because I spent over an hour today with a member of the Sonos first line support team who seemed confident that basic steps we took in a screen-sharing session to fix one of my issues would solve a problem.  Specifically, I am intentionally deleting albums from my NAS music database but they are still available in my Sonos Library long after re-indexing.  The support session failed to fix the problem so both I and Sonos’s amiable support staffer wasted time on an issue that I now presume is still listed on a detailed bug fix to-do list somewhere?    I ask this because if my specific bug “symptoms” had been listed

I am deeply relieved to see Search for local Music library return to the mobile Sonos app for Android, since i have a large-ish music library on a NAS.Additionally, I am intrigued after this latest update to see a playlist show up in the mobile app that was never there before. It was created in Windows Media player.This is...interesting...to me, since one of the reasons I invested in Sonos was a feature that never came to fruition: the *advertised* ability to import playlists from iTunes. This feature *never* worked for iTunes on Windows. Perhaps it did for iTunes on Mac, but I don’t own a Mac. Suddenly, importing a playlist from Windows Media works, without me even trying? Odd, but I’ll take it.Anyhow - over the years, I have created 10+ Playlists in the Sonos S2 Desktop app (Version 16.2, Build 79153290), but these are no longer visible after the Android updates of the Summer of 2024.The playlists still display in the Desktop S2 app. Does anyone know ho

My sonos is running on an older update but thinks its up to date, is there an overide? 

I am sure this must have been done to death but is there a reason — that is, we do it this way because “x” — why Sonos doesn’t have a soft power cycle option in its apps? We all know for myriad wifi issues on any networked device power cycling is a go-to, but speaking for anyone who has more than a couple of bookshelf-type speakers, this is a real pain for Sonos. For those where the wall plug is concealed, the power cables are really jammed in. (And to the Reddit guy: no, I do not want to flip breakers for half the house.)I am thinking of exactly the same implementation as Eero has, and Apple’s AirPort range also had.This seems so obvious I am wondering what I am missing? Is it a kind of communist thing that putting the option there would reveal that Sonos knew there was a use-case?
