My sonos is running on an older update but thinks its up to date, is there an overide?

They apparently have begun to ‘roll out’ updates, and the stores that are used (Apple, Google) don’t offer overrides. You’re just going to need to wait, unfortunately.

In the meantime, it may not hurt to reboot your devices, the one that the controller is on, certainly, but the speakers, and router as well.

App or firmware? If the app try deleting it and installing a fresh copy. Make sure your controller is capable of using the latest version first.

Firmware? Try powering all Sonos down, reboot router and power Sonos up. Then try again.

Keep checking the app store regularly
