I have tried the suggested workarounds to add my LaCie external drive (contains my music library) as a networked device, but I cannot get it to work on my MAC desktop.
Has Sonos provided a release date when this error will be fixed?

Thank you, Smilja, the instructions you linked worked for me! I was able to re-add my external music drive back to Sonos.
