Can you de-select songs or artists from these playlists?

I don’t want the sonos radio service - so how do I remove it?

I have 2 x Ikea Syfonisks and 1 x Beam (Gen 1). System has been working or for a few years. I usually Airplay from Music app on my iPhone. Now when I try to play to a speaker it connects momentarily (no sound) then just jumps back to the iPhone. All speaker are visible and I don’t get an error just it just won’t ‘stick’ on a speaker (or speakers). The systme works if I play from my Apple Music library within the Sonos app but I prefer to use the Music app directly (and have always done so in the past). I’ve reset the router, switched all the speakers off and on again. No luck, any suggestions?Edit: i just tested from my iMac using Music and I can connect – so presumably this is a Music app on the iPhone problem?

why can't i find sonos tube app on my new android phone?

I got an iPhone 13 pro recently and it won’t recognise or connect to the Sonos S1 app. I’ve tried everything including allowing location services, no VPN etc. Yet the app works fine on my iPad. Judging by previous chats on this, there is clearly a software fault, are you fixing this Sonos?

Hi All, my trusty pair of Sonos fives are playing up. one of the stereo pair of fives disappeared from the app. I factory reset and reconnected and tried anything I could find on the forum. dialogue says setup complete. however, it does not appear on the iOS app or the Mac app. however, It does appear on the the web app...... what to do? cheers, j.

Since a few weeks Sonos never manages to play Spotify. Sonos always loses connection to Spotify according to the error message. (Or rather, Sonos never manages to establish a connection to Spotify - there is never a sound from Spotify on the Sonos system.) I have tried starting music on both the Sonos and Spotify apps, but the same problem persists. I have also tried reinstalling the Sonos and Spotify apps (I run the Sonos 1 app due to the age of my Sonos products). I have also disconnected all Sonos products and unplugged the router and then restarted it all. Nothing helps. Most grateful for guidance on how to solve this problem

If I e.g. select a Spotify playlist from within the Sonos app, the resulting queue will be editable. I.e., I will be able to clear it or move things around.But if I start the same playlist from e.g. the Spotify application on my computer, the queue will just show one item saying “Spotify” and information about the current song that is playing. There is no way to edit the queue.When music is started in this way, I understand that I might not be able to do more advanced queue edits, but I am surprised that I cannot even clear the queue?

I’ve been pretty blessed that my system worked fine through most of the junk app release. Last week my parents asked me to come to their house and help with their system. Speakers (era 100) were all playing music but the app showed no content and volume control, etc acted like it worked but did nothing.  The buttons on the speakers all worked - would switch tracks and adjust volume as expected.  I left there without a solution blaming it on their WiFi.Tonight at my house, my wife’s phone is behaving the same way. Shows no content, volume control on the app changes but doesn’t change speakers. My phone still works fine, iPad won’t work.  is this some sort of bug in the latest update or did all our networks just break at the same time??!!

I have loved! No adored my Sonos setup from speakers to port device through to what was the slick app/controller.One day I woke up and the Sonos app was updated and now it’s the worse thing I’ve ever used, absolutely awful, slow, unresponsive, unable to seamlessly move control from one device to another, but worse of all unable to add new or update existing playlists?!?  Who in the hell approved this? Being able to create and amendment playlists was one of the fundamental basic uses of the Sonos app and now it’s gone.I recently cancelled my new speaker purchase as I am considering moving away from Sonos now as this has become unbearable. 

Trying to add my wife to our system. When she downloads S1 and goes to join existing system, it’s not found. She is on the same WiFi network as the system, has tried deleting and the reinstalling the app, to no avail. This shouldn’t be this difficult. 

I'm going to do some individual posts for each Sonos App feature I'd like to see.It would be nice to be able to rename all the icons, "top songs" isn't a big help. These from Amazon Music.  

I have a medium sized Sonos music library on a Windows server (\\servername\Music) that has worked well. Recently I added a few albums, tracks and artists but they don’t show up after “Update Music Library Now” on my PC desktop. I have removed and re-added the library, uninstalled and re-installed the controller, rebooted my Sonos 5, rebooted my desktop, and rebooted my server. I have double- and triple-checked the mounted network share, and all of those albums, artists, and tracks are definitely there.What’s up? 

Apologies for staring a new thread but the exitsing threads are i) dated and ii) tended to go in other directions. I am in the process of moving to a new MacBook and noticed that when I installed the SONOS Desktop application I had to install Rosetta. Is there an Apple Silicon native version of the SONOS Desktop application? Thank you.

I have an old set of Play:1’s in my living room that sound great but I am frustrated at the lack of AirPlay.  In my media room I have a Sonos Beam (1st Gen) and two Sonos Ones. AirPlay accesses that room just fine. It just occurred to me: if I swap the two speaker pairs and have the Play:1s paired with the Beam in my media room, would Airplay then work with all three speakers? Thanks so much.  

Our Sonos app takes about 20 seconds (!) to connect to our system. Simply trying to turn down the volume takes almost half a minute. Once connected it’s a little faster, but still takes several seconds to do anything, and by the time it catches up, you have already tried several controls, which means the whole thing just goes nuts.This has been the case for nearly a year. I’ve tried everything - rebooting/reinstalling everything, changing wifi channels, IP conflicts, removing all sources of interference, moving components closer to the router, one component at a time, alternative control apps. Nothing helps. I understand networking - it’s not my network.If this continues into 2025, I need to start looking into ditching Sonos. I really don’t want to do this, but this lack of control has seriously degraded the main benefit of Sonos. I followed the instructions for the 913 error and share my music folder in my OneDrive. I added it to my Music Library and I updated the music library. My Playlists are showing and playing. When I go to Music Library, there is nothing - nothing showing under artists, nothing showing under albums. This is so damn frustrating.

The app is not improving. I may retire my speakers. Anyone else?  It's unfortunate.

It’s Saturday morning.It’s raining in the UK 🤣So I sit down to listen to some music.At least I would if the App actually worked and my Sonos system did not keep stuttering and stopping.When Van Morrison sung “Mama told me there’d be days like this” I did not expect it to mean that my historically reliable Sonos system would refuse to play music on a wet Saturday morning in the UK.And that is why I hate the new App.

After receiving contact from some boss at Sonos about fixing all the new app problems- I am not surprised to find that nothing has changed. Random connecting- so slow when choosing radio station- locking- freezing- not recognising products- volume not working - just about all the things that were wrong ARE STILL HERE! When you see posh houses advertised in The Times with the added bonus of Sonos networked sound you thing poor sods- it must take £5K off the house!!!!

I think I’m getting close to finally connecting my main Sonos Music Library that resides on a 1TB Crucial X8 drive. After updating the speaker firmware and the Sonos S2 controller on our iMac (Sonoma OS), I was able to play music from the iMac controller but, when adding that library to the iOS app, I continually got the “Access Denied - Check User Name and Password.”With that being said, I’m assuming that I use the network path for that iMac and music folder, the user name for that iMac and, the password used to start up and access that iMac… correct? I’ve triple-checked those credentials and they seem correct. Unlike the links on a Sonos video link, I’m typing the network path thusly:  //Carols-iMac/Sonos Family Room   I’ve also seen “ \\ “ .  (As a point of clarification, Sonophone has no issue with this network path and I’m able to play my music via this method. I have just about had it with Sonos. In a world of smart people who do this for a living, how are they not able to fix the issues? My system is older (Playbar, Play 1) but that shouldn't matter as long as they are supporting them. Maybe someone here can help me. I start playing music using the Sonos app. I select my room(s) and off it goes. However, after a short time, if I go back into the app, it shows my queue is empty. I can't do anything with what is playing. Even worse, I couldn't answer a call because I had my music louder and I couldn't use the app to pause it. I know I can use the button on the decice but that isn't always the option if I'm in another room. The same thing happens using Spotify or Apple. I don't get it. Figure this out already. I've been a customer a long time but I am at my end point. Makes me not want to upgrade my stuff at all.

Since the May app upgrade I have almost abandoned my Sonos system . Th Sonos 1 app only sees 1 of my 5 units.  I have Sonos 2 app installed on another computer in my upstairs office and that sees 2 other units, but not the one seen by the Sonos1 app. I contacted support and then spent a long time rushing up and down stairs turning things off and on, all to no avail. Is there now a fix or is all this kit destined for the skip?I have 2 x Play 1’s as a pair in one room, 2 other Play 1’s in 2 different rooms and 1 Play 3 in another room.
