Since a few weeks Sonos never manages to play Spotify. Sonos always loses connection to Spotify according to the error message. (Or rather, Sonos never manages to establish a connection to Spotify - there is never a sound from Spotify on the Sonos system.) I have tried starting music on both the Sonos and Spotify apps, but the same problem persists. I have also tried reinstalling the Sonos and Spotify apps (I run the Sonos 1 app due to the age of my Sonos products). I have also disconnected all Sonos products and unplugged the router and then restarted it all. Nothing helps. Most grateful for guidance on how to solve this problem

Not sure what’s going on there. I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
