The app is not improving. I may retire my speakers. Anyone else? It's unfortunate.
The app is improving but:
Not fast enough.
Not fixing issues in the order I'd prefer.
Still progress is being made.
I’m sticking, at least for now…
Not yet for me either. But this whole debacle has soured my opinion of Sonos.
Sonos has made messes before and eventually fixed them.
This mess is just bigger and harder to fix. It will eventually work right.
I'm just hoping there isn't someone in Sonos management saying "hold my beer."
I feel as though it's been since the summer the fix was in process. I'm a patient person but I really don't see progress. I'm unable to stop playing music on the app it's so slow. I have to walk to speaker to unplug it. I appreciate the CEO coming out and addressing concerns and ask for patience. But I'm not seeing improvements. For me it's been worse. I might as well get a Bose.

Yeah goal posts keep moving. Promises not kept.
They lied and said the new app has all the features of the new app in an email right before release.
But idon’t think Bose in the answer other options yes, but never Bose lol.
Most of the slowness has been fixed for most folks. Make sure all your Sonos are on the latest update. Power them ALL down, reboot the router and power the Sonos back up.
If that doesn't fix things play with the problem bits few times and submit a diagnostic which will send in a snapshot of what has been happening then call Support to have it looked at.
^Or delete and reinstall the app. This is the new “it’s your wifi.”
For me it’s missing features and response of app not as much about the unreliability of the system.
