Wth this app keep asking me to sign in all the time, can not use any services at all, worst app ever

I often listen to podcasts on Sonos, and have done so for years without problems. However, two things happened that have led to enormous frustration in my ability to continue to do this. First, I used to listen to podcasts using Stitcher, was has now been discontinued. Second, Sonos updated their app, and as we all know, nothing has been the same since.I have tried Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, and Spotify, and each present problems. Because there is no direct link between Apple Podcasts and Sonos, I listen to Apple Podcasts through AirPlay on my Sonos Move and Roam speakers. However, it often drops the connection of one or more speakers, it’s difficult to connect to my other Sonos speakers, the volume control is even worse than when playing directly through the Sonos app, etc. I’ve asked Sonos support for help, but as of today, none of the problems have been resolved.I have also tried Pocket Casts and Spotify. I recently got a Sonos play 3 but for the life of me every time I go to connect it to the app to setup the app crashes what the heck do I do?? 

Hi, I have a new Mac mini M4 and I am unable to find a S1 controller for it. Apple Ap store says the S1 controller is not compatible with this device.What to do?

Hoping someone can help.I have 2 x Era 100's as a stereo pair coupled to Sub Mini, I currently subscribe to Spotify as my main streaming service, can any tell me would there be a noticeable difference if I were to a switch to a streaming service offering lossless - hi-res streaming? Spotify have been alluding to a hi res service for years but it still it hasn't materialised so considering the switch. 

How do I connect my pico to my existing Sonos System?

Hi all , I'm looking to get an old iPhone so I can True play my system , I know it has to support ios16 but does the cheapest ( bottom of pic ) iPhone on this list allow TP ? Thanks 

Other members of my household are finding there are certain features that they cannot use in the Sonos app on their phone unless I provide them my username and password to “Sign in as the System Owner to see this content”. Why must I do this? This is very frustrating. I hope this is a bug because it is poor design otherwise.  I want to mention that I am signed into the app on my devices.

Yesterday I could access Amazon Music Unlimited as well as TuneIn thru my Sonos speakers. Today all requests to Alexa get the response “sorry that device is offline”. I have checked my Amazon Acct which shows my subscription is current. Amazon can be played through the app on my Android phone. On the Sonos app Content Services show Rova, Sonos Radio, and TuneIn. I searched for Amazon Music on ‘Add Content Service’ but got result ‘No results for Amazon’  

Hi Sonos Devs. Thank you for your amazing products and app. I appreciate that I can link my Apple Music account to the Sonos App. A couple things I would love to see, which would elevate my home sound system experience are:adding a Sonos widget to my iPhone/iPad Lock Screens so I can control the music from the Sonos App without unlocking my devices. AirPlay compatibility to stream music in Dolby Atmos.Many thanks.

Since quite recently, when I load an album or a playlist in the app and hit the PLAY button or Track 1, the app instead selects some random track in the list to play. This is even though I have not pressed the SHUFFLE button in any way. I have to press Track 1 a second time to get it to actually play.Is this a known issue and is there a fix for this?

I’ve been a (mostly) happy Sonos S1 user for 20 years now. I recently decided to take the plunge by refreshing and expanding my system and moving to S2. Right now, I am thrilled with my new products and the quality of the sound that I have throughout my home.BUT I had no idea what I was getting into. The app, the app …That said, I get that Sonos is in a deep hole and I want to be patient and continue to have a happy relationship with my sound system.SO, here is my current topic/question: I usually use music services but I also appreciate my local music library. It is mostly FLAC and partly non-FLAC. I like having the Album Art, I wish I had Artist Art, and I want my compilation albums to be properly indexed by Album and Song Artist within album.From trying various things, this in my current understanding:iTunes is out for me because they do not support FLAC Artist Art is out because Sonos expects to get it from the iTunes server

Hi Anyone else having issues where BBC Sounds keeps going off and not coming back on? I only really use Sonos for the radio and the alarm. I've uninstalled BBC sounds, changed channels in the app, router, uninstalled everything else. Done everything as a standard and nothing is working. Funnily enough, it's been since the app updated on March 3rd and no matter how many times I tell them when I contact support, no one asks me about it..

Advice, anyone?  I’ve tried the solutions I’ve found online, but they only work for a few days tops and then I’m back to square one.I have 3 Sonos speakers.  The S1 app worked fine for a long time, and suddenly it doesn’t see any products when I open it.  So I uninstall, restart my phone, restart the speakers, restart the router, re-install the app, and MAYBE it will work.  SOMETIMES, if it wasn’t working before and I go into my mac and start the speakers there, the mobile app will suddenly see it.  the alarms aren’t working, the app isn’t working, I can’t manage the alarms, and after uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times and its still not working, I’m pissed.  I can’t connect my spotify or anything else to the speakers via bluetooth, which I used to be able to. Sound just doesn’t come out.  But if I just walk up to the speakers and press play, they’ll play the last thing I was listening to.  I’m so done.  I spent so much money on this system and less than 3 years later it

It has been almost a year and this new app is unusable. The other one worked great, but was forced to upgrade when I made the dire mistake of buying more. I’ve gotten rid of a few speakers because it wouldn’t be compatible with the new app which cost me money. I have nine speakers right now and two of them work all the time, the rest on and I’ve tried many times to hook them to the same network, etc. Been through it. When is anybody going to be accountable at Sonos. Firing people doesn’t help all of us. Fix it or pay people back. 

Is there a plan to restore indexing or an effective search to the personal library component?

When will we be able to playback just s single episode of a podcast within pocket cast.It adds the whole season every time .When will Sonos also mark it as played the next time you enter the cast?The above worked earlier in the good old app. 

Spotify will not group my Sonos speakers properly again. This is after a mandatory Sonos update to ver 80.17.14. Why why why? The Spotify Group Rooms does not work

At least once a week I am unable to use the search in the app. It appears as though it is going to search and then goes back to the Home Screen. So basically whenever I play Spotify on my Sonos speakers some features don’t work as intended.It will play the wrong songs and doesn’t let me disable the shuffle mode.I also can’t rewind or fast forward songs (the bar is greyed out)It’s as if it wouldn’t recognize I have Spotify Premium.This started happening only a few days ago when it had been working just fine before.Some help would be appreciated :)

all of a sudden i pick a playlist and it loads over and over.  the one on right now is 110 songs long but the queue shows about 43,000 songs.  i only have 13,000 songs in my entire library.  help?  and can anybody explain when these people are going to fix things like being able to use the alphabet to find items?

I have my alarm set to play a non-commercial, non-Sonos iHeart radio station (Classical KING FM Seattle 89.7), and it was working perfectly until recently. Now, instead of waking up to music, I’m forced to listen to a Sonos ad for the first minute before my station starts. This is completely unacceptable. I don’t want to start my day with a jarring Sonos commercial, especially since I’ve already purchased your speaker system. Isn’t that enough? Now you’re trying to push even more products or subscriptions on me through my alarm? Can’t a simple alarm function without corporate nonsense getting in the way? If this is the new norm, I’ll go back to an old-school radio and alarm clock instead.

i play Sonos thru the app on my iPhone and iPad using Apple Music.  Today we played one playlist for 5 hours.  Later when I tried to play an album off Apple Music, it came on and then stopped! Nothing I did would allow it to be heard.  On the app, it looked like it was playing but no sound.  I had changed nothing! When I brought up the system, all 5 speakers, they looked like they were playing but were grayed out sort of.  At the top, the system icon was yellow— I don’t remember if that is normally yellow.  I am so frustrated.  This happened on my phone, so I tried the app on my iPad.  Same! Ugh!!! And of course its710pm Saturday night!  I also tried to play Sonos Radio—same.  

Using YouTube Music, it has now been buggy for Sonos devices for several months, better than it was 3 months back, but not as good as it was 12 months ago.Today I notice that my queue grows by itself in increments of 200 &/or 300 till it gets to about 34400, then the system becomes even less responsive.Anyone else noticed or had this recently? 2nd issue, which has had some airtime by others, is the playlist length. Sonos will only show 100 songs in a 483 song playlist, and will then continue to repeat those 100 songs and never show the other 383. Any genuine technical/bug fix available?  2023 & before, these issues were non existent!
