I just spent a little over an hour with the sonos support team.  I can get every single band to work using the Relisten service through my sonos app. But it will not play any Widespread Panic.

The help desk told me to contact Relisten.  That it was a Relisten and Widespread Panic only issue. I found this to be,  once again, Sonos not taking responsibility for its actions.  Before the new Sonos App came out a year ago, I never once had an issue.

I just read the latest announcement from sonos management.  I guess that applies to everybody except Panic fans.  I'm very disappointed in being dismissed like that. Its a damn sonos problem and has been for a year now.

Sonos opens up its network to content services. How these services behave themselves on your system is largely up to the service. If you experience problems with anything the service supplies, chances are this is indeed caused by the music service or their connection to Sonos.

Well then I would expect sonos to contact said service.  I'm only a customer and a music lover.  I don't have the knowledge to even communicate properly the actual issue causing this problem.  All I know is before the new App, I had no issues. Now I do.

I don't know how this isn't a sonos issue. The Chief Tech Officer just communicated that this type of issue is a Sonos problem.

I've been patient.  I am just trying to listen to my tunes on all the sonos speakers I have purchased.  And if Relisten wasn't an option on sonos, then I would not care.  I might not own Sonos speakers though

To ad an analogy, you are complaining about the quality of reception of the last episode of Dallas to your TV manufacturer. You are entitled to your opinion, and of course there is a chance this is a Sonos problem, but since this is how it works if you really want a solution check with Relisten. It seems the new app also needs work to be done by content providers since it coincided with some content providers giving up on Sonos. Maybe Relisten did not do that properly.

I feel your frustration unable to stream WSP via Relisten for a long time on Sonos. The creator who maintains the Relisten app for Sonos is @switz213  - I have seen him check into this forum from time to time and perhaps will see this and assist with a resolution. Or add some color as to why it does not work. During the new Sonos app relaunch debacle a year ago i know he was having issues getting in touch with Sonos like all of us as Relisten was pretty much not usable for awhile. He is a volunteer.

Thanks for your contributions to the Panic community, Panicstream. I hope this can be resolved.

Thanks for the tag. Keep in mind Relisten is entirely volunteer driven and so is PanicStream.

If you join our discord (https://relisten.net/discord) and report an issue, we often can look into it. I don’t scour these forums - at some point you’ll have to come find us if you want a resolution. We do our best.
