The volume slider keeps disappearing from the app.  The SONOS app is garbage, but the inability to control volume now makes the speakers GARBAGE too. Wednesday I switched internet providers.  WiFi in new router was configured the same as previous router, including same name and password.  SONOS speakers would not reconnect, even after cycling power.  Create a new WiFi network and follow instructions to use app to change network settings.  Only 1 of 3 speakers come back.  Nothing would bring those speakers back.  Following other threads on this forum, did factory reset on speaker.  App could finally find the speaker, but stated I could not use the speaker until firmware update.  WTF.  Updated.  App still said I needed to update firmware to use speaker, but also told me the firmware was up to date.  WTF.  Following another thread on the forum, cleared app data and cache… no help… and uninstall / reinstall app.  Both non-functional speakers request update.  Perfoem update

I have purchased a synology Beestation and after some initial problems managed to connect it to my Sonos. It worked OK for about two weeks playing my music library through my Samsung tablet then lost connection. I have tried reconnection using original file path with no success,I get either " something went wrong " or " access denied " messages. I have tried all the usual remedies, Any Ideas?

Dear Forum,struggling with thus half my Sunday. Hopefully you can help out.  i do not know what the taxonomy in sonos is, to add a music library on the USB stick I insrted in the modem. I have now\\fritz.box\JeroenMusicthe usb stick is called ‘JeroenMusic’ with directly all my CD’s on it. But somehow this doesnt work. sonos gives feedback that the access is denied.assumed that all settings are correct in the fritzbox, I would like to know whether the syntax is ok.  thanks

Is there an option to block others from messing with the volume of the sonos app?

Old story by now but here it is: in the Sonos app (latest) on iOS (v18) was (finally) able to add my MacOS Music library hosted on a Mac Mini. However, I noticed that a new album I had added to the Music library was not appearing in the Sonos app. The default setting, I believe, is to update the library every night. Clearly not happening. I tried to manually update the library (“scan for new content”) but that did not help. I deleted the library but the app became stuck on scanning even though I had deleted the library. So I deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app and it still showed that that it was scanning (which is weird as deleting an app on the iPhone removes all of its files; maybe the Sonos app is pulling some setting from the Sonos servers?). Anyway, after much force-quiting and restarting the iPhone the scanning stopped. Now I cannot add my Music library back. I keep getting the “access denied” message. Nothing has changed on the Mac Mini in terms of sharing, etc.. I verifie

Ever since the app 'update' I have continued to experience problems with it crashing and having to restart it. This especially becomes a problem when trying to play any radio station. In recent, weeks it has gotten worst with 'currently unable to play' error message everything time I select a radio station. I have multiple sonos players, location throughout my home. I love the sonos system and have enjoyed playing music through it for many years. However, these constant issues are trying my patience and I have reached the point that if there is no real improvement to the app, I will be selling all my speakers. 

I just did an ‘update all’ in the app store on my ipad earlier today. I wasn’t paying attention, but perhaps there was a sonos update in the list.Now I see that all of my Sonos playlists have disappeared. The playlists remain in the app on my iphone, which I have not updated.Is this another chapter in the continuing Sonos screwup saga? Is there a way I can copy the playlists from my phone to my tablet? What the hell is going on NOW?

Hello, good afternoon. I have a question please. If I have two different Sonos accounts (i.e. two systems registered with two different emails), is it possible to manage the music from both accounts with a single Sonos App? That is, play music from a single device (for example a tablet) regardless of the location? Could I control the music from any internet connection without having to be physically at the location? Thank you in advance.

As far as I am aware I have set all the ‘pop up’ and ‘notification’ options to ‘off’ on my account but I am still occasionally seeing adverts from Sonos on my controller. Have I missed a setting hidden away somewhere or are Sonos just ignoring my request?    

The “add the playlist” option seems to have disappeared from the … menu of the songs. I still see “add to favorites”, “play next” etc… but no more proposal to add the song to a playlist.Does anyone know where that option has gone to?

Sonos 1 app does not work anymore?!? My 4 sonos gen 1 products are useless now. So angry

My SONOS system keeps failing to connect to various speakers even though i have Fibre to my house and good WIFI in the home. Why is this happening and it is very annoying.

There is a reported bug fix coming mid-June 2024. My setup keeps stopping being able to play music from Yousee. I have to reauthorize 3-4 times a week. I guess this is not normal - at least it didn’t use to be like that.

This morning, I went to play a podcast on my Sonos One via the Spotify app and upon connecting, it immediately began skipping to each podcast in my “My Podcasts” playlist, without playing any of them.I switched to my Sonos Arc via the same process and did not have this problem. I played that podcast successfully, without any lag or loading time, Meaning this is likely a device issue, not a network issue.I have tried unplugging and plugging back in my Sonos One, restarting my router, deleting the Spotify integration and reinstalling it, and deleting and reinstalling the Sonos app.Anyone else having this issue? How do I fix this?

Is there a way to see the Amazon Music Station Name on the Sonos App? Both currently being played and recently played.

Am I the only one who finds the volume sliders frustrating in the app while using your phone?They jump and it's hard to get the number or volume level you want. Can we not get arrows up and down that move quickly when you hold it down and moves the volume up or down by 1 when you touch an arrow once? 

    All the album photos in my Sonos Music Library are the same.In the music folder on my pc that is shared with my Sonos Music library on both S1 and S2 apps, there are JPG files for 15 of my 21 albums. But all 21 albums show cover art for an album photo that there is no jpg file for in the shared music folder. Possibly it was there at one time but the album and its related files were deleted.    Where is my Music Library getting this photo? Were is it stored? WHAT FIELD IN WHAT FILE INDICATES WHAT PHOTO TO USE AS THE ALBUM COVER?Why are the Albums that have jpg files not showing the correct album art?Is there a way to make the Sonos Music Library show the correct album cover by editing one of the files in the shared music folder on my Windows PC? Edit:I tried to give as much relevant information as I could, but if you need more info, just ask. How can I play music from my computer music files? I used to play them before the “ap” change. The old Sonos app offered the choice right there on the app. Now I have spent over an hour chasing down the so-called “instructions” to get it to “share” my files with the Sonos app with no luck at all. The instructions do not work. I can’t believe the app still hasn’t been updated to fix this. Why would this feature be taken away from us? It was one of the most convenient features for me and it is what sold me on the original Sonos system I bought 10 years ago.

I have about 9K downloaded songs from CDs and purchased from tuned only iTunes account.  I was hoping for instructions on how to access my iTunes library of songs through SONOS.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

I assume this is just something that Sonos has to fix in the app. I had muted my Arc earlier and eventually it turned off when the TV went to sleep. So later I have music playing in another room and try to group the Arc in and the group is formed but no sound is coming out of the Arc. I figure I just have to wait because I always have to wait with the new app…. But after several seconds I verify the Arc is grouped and it is but the volume slider is kind of grayed out. I can adjust the volume slider of the Arc but still no sound. There is no icon to show the Arc is muted so no way to un-mute the Arc while grouped. I had to remove the Arc from the group and once it was independent the mute icon was visible and I could un-mute and then form the group again and it works as expected.  Please add the ability to mute/unmute individual speakers that are a part of a group. I am running: 80.16.32release+20250123.d584035dbon iOS 18.3.1  

USB drive connected to a Netgear RAX30 keeps throwing ‘access denied’ error -  settings are  are for ‘all/no password’ Is this an issue from the past updates ?  Currently all hardware is updated an app is as well.  i connect to a windows share no issues, but would like to NOT have to keep running the PC Just to access my music.  Especially when the usb nas was working with no issues.
