Hi All,

Long time listener…

I am having this issue in the Sonos App when I search on Spotify.  More prolific artists have lots of albums but it only adds so many.  I can’t seem to find this issue on the forum anywhere.

Can someone help me out?

Hi @The Usual Suspect

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Thanks for letting me know and for the screenshot. I had tried the same steps I gave you, but the artists I tried didn’t have enough entries to have this error. Testing again with Bob Dylan, I was able to replicate the same issue where the Artist page is limited to 50 entries and shows loading icons erroneously.

I’ve raised this with the team and they’re were also able to replicate this and are now looking into it, however I don’t have any ETA to provide on when this will be resolved, so the workarounds for now would be to search directly for the album you’d like to play or use search in the Spotify app and use Spotify Connect to play to your Sonos. If I hear anything regarding this, then I’ll update this thread.

I hope this information helps.

Hi @The Usual Suspect, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issue while searching with Spotify in the Sonos app.

I use Spotify myself and tested with my system: after trying with a few different artists, I noticed that the album tab in search had a hard limit of 50 entries. Since this is a keyword search, it’ll also populate the tab with entries from other albums, these two reasons are why you won't see everything from one specific artist. However, if you go into the artist page (i.e. search for the artist, tap the Spotify button at the top of the app, then tap the Artist icon), you should see all of their albums.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for the fast reply.  This community is fantastic.

Unfortunately, I get this when following your steps. It is like it is trying to load more but never does. And it only loads 50.
