Very recently bought an ERA 300. Signed up to YouTube music. Added the YT music app to Sonos. All was well until a few days ago. Then some YT music content became ‘greyed out’. Today no music available through YT music. Removed YT music from the Sonos app. Can’t re-add it via Add to Sonos through ‘Manage’. I’ve reinstalled the Sonos app on my mobile. Rebooted the mobile, wi-fi. Just keep getting Something went wrong. All help appreciated, please!

The delay (latency) with my SONOS app recently became very long, around 15 seconds to change volume and streaming services. I am a long time user(!) with numerous devices which include Play 3. I was not convinced it occurred as a result of a recent app update. Although it happened around that time.Slightly unwittingly, Tech support provided a key insight. I offer it for others in a similar position:SONOS now requires a rapid exchange of data to coordinate mobile Apps and speakers and unsurprisingly that is really sensitive to the quality of the connection between the controlling speaker and the house router. So if you build a “Group” around a speaker that has a weak connection (low bandwidth/high latency), control of that group crumbles into a disorganised mess which takes a long time for the system to sort out. Is the Sonos app. phone and/or desktop ever going to be improved in terms of usability?Using it feels like it was designed in like 1990 early computer days.  I can’t even change the order of my favorites, how they are viewed? There is no alphabetical, you can’t rearrange, you can’t group delete or remove playlists. On and on. I just don’t understand how this can be.  This great sound system, customized through out the phone, but I’m at the mercy of Sonos decided how a playlist should be organized?  There’s more.    Will it ever improve?I guess maybe there is some app that you can pay for with better features?Certainly not Spotify, because that is not compatible enough to control multiple speakers ( on a desktop). Wah. Complain, complain. 

I’m posting here out of sheer frustration with the current state of my Sonos system. Lately, every time I adjust the volume or change tracks via the Sonos app, there’s a noticeable delay – sometimes as long as 3-5 seconds! This might not sound like a huge issue on paper, but in practice, it makes the system feel completely unresponsive and, honestly, unusable.When I’m trying to enjoy music, a delay in volume control is a dealbreaker. Hello everybody, When will Sonos Voice Control work ok with Youtube Music? I want to speak to my Sonos Beam. Giving commands like “play something from music”, “play relaxing music”.  Thanks in advance, I believe it’s not a big deal :)

Songs in a Spotify library sometimes have different volume levels. Can Sonos somehow correct this difference in volume levels while playing a list ?

My original post was locked so starting new one.  Posted this 3 months ago, 3 months after the ‘upgrade’:Hi Folks,3+ months into the updated Sonos app debacle, here is a list of features that worked great on version 16 of the app but still do  not work on version 80 of the app.  I hope we can get fixes for these and check them off in less than 3 months:    1) Add/Edit tracks to a Sonos playlist.        I use playlists heavily from music in my local Library. Some of these playlists have thousands to tracks.  Since the upgrade, I cannot edit them at all.    2) Album art.        Album art no longer displays for tracks from my local Library.    3) When viewing the queue, the app should zoom to the currently playing or last played track.        When a playlist has more than dozen or so tracks I shouldn’t have to scroll to find the current track.    4) Touching the volume bar should allow me to adjust the volume for any of the devic

Hi I have 3 Sonos Port + 1 Sonos Arc, all working fine from the Sonos app (iOS). I normally stream Spotify from the Sonos app and all works as expected.I also use regularly Spotify Connect (from Spotify on iOS or Spotify on macOS) to stream music to my Sonos Ports or Sonos Arc. This worked well until the last firmware update (82.2-59204).After the firmware update:My Sonos Ports and Arc are shown as valid Spotify Connect destinations from the Spotify speaker menu (both on iOS and macOS) But when I click on any of the Sonos destinations, Spotify just shows “Connecting...” and nothing happens. Other non-Sonos Spotify Connect speakers work as expectedm both from Spotfy iOS and macOS. My wifi is exacly the same as before the Sonos firmware update, so the problem is not on my wifi.So I assume that the last Sonos firnware udpate broke something on the way Sonos gear responds to Spotify Connect requests? Sonos app not connecting on Apple iPhone tried everything on the book!!! Still no getter after 3 months or more 

It’s disappointing that after all this time, Sonos still hasn’t reinstated Last.fm integration, despite clear demand from dedicated users. Last.fm is a crucial tool for heavy music listeners and audiophiles who want to track their listening habits and discover new music. Given that Last.fm itself provides step-by-step integration guides, it’s hard to understand why Sonos has not taken the small steps needed to bring this feature back.Even more frustrating is the lack of clear communication from Sonos. The responses from community managers have been vague at best, and at worst, dismissive. There has been no real effort to investigate the issue or provide a concrete explanation as to why this hasn’t been implemented.At this point, Sonos needs to either:Clearly state whether they will bring back Last.fm integration, or Provide a legitimate technical or business reason why they refuse to do so.

My sonos phone app is not seeing or connecting to the any of my 8 sonos speakers.  How do I get the app to talk to the speakers?  

a quick question for those in the know, I am thinking of upgrading my Sonos system at the moment. I have several ZP 100 A around the house which have worked perfectly well for years but a remodel of the house and a wish to have more flexibility where to put speakers without wires, et cetera has made us trial some Sonos fives and era 300s. not impressed with the errors, but the fives would do the job. However, I have a lot of albums stored on a network storage device which at the moment streams to my current system through a ZP 80. Would a port replace this and allow me to stream those albums from the network storage device to other Sonos equipment. any advice would be appreciated. 

good morning, I have a collection of 210 tracks on the YouTube music account that I play on the sonos account. For a few days now, if I try to play it on Sonos, it loads me with 33,800 tracks from the same collection. How can I solve the problem? Thank you

If the app has been open for several hours whether music is playing or not,  it won’t respond or takes forever respond if I try to add a room to the active group or change the music.  Sometimes the music just stops and shows only one room that is in the group. It is always the same room whether or not that room was part of the group. I hope this is making sense. Thank for any help or advice you have. 

Two points, and I’m not the first one to discuss either, but I want to be sure that the issues stay flagged: A-Z scrolling in Local Music Library.  The app is almost unusable for moderate to large libraries without it. Ability to see “Contributing Artists”.  The Windows App still does it.  For Compilation Albums, we currently have to choose between having every song in the album show up as its own album, or combine them by tagging ALBUMARTIST as “Various Artists”, but then lose the ability to see the actual artist of each song.  All competitors, including older versions of yourself, have this working properly.The Trello board has gone stale, and release notes recently have been non-specific.  What is your plan these days?

Will you ever fix the poor Ui of the new app?  It’s still way to many steps to select a room and click forward click back to get to a room and it’s very inelegant.  Also, Will you ever add back alpha indexing to music library. Scrolling through 1,000 artists continues to frustrate me. I’m waiting for the app to be fully fixed before I consider buying any additional equipment. It’s been so long

I have no idea what the techs at Sonos have done to the software over last few years, but they have basically ruined a great system.when I try any basic control on Sonos these days, I am now pleasantly surprised if it works……but mostly it doesn’t.i am literally one step away from ditching the whole (10 unit) system for an old school hifi that I know will work.

Starting probable a few weeks ago, I could not sign in to Sonos from my iOS app anymore. When I tried to sign in, the app took me to login.sonos.com. But everytime I got the same “incorrect email or password” error message. I am 100% sure that my email and password combination is correct. In fact I can log in to sonos just fine with the same email and password from a laptop computer, so I am not sure what goes wrong with the iPhone.Right now I can only see my speekers from my iPhone and play music, but I can not add or remove any services. Does anyone have the same issue? Please help me. Thanks.

I am unable to play music from YouTube music app on my Sonos Arc. I am able to play music from Spotify though. YouTube music app does not show the Sonos speaker itself. I was able to play earlier on my iPhone. This issue seems specific to Google pixel. Can you please advise?

Volume slider control missing 

I had trouble connecting to both Play1 and Play 3 from my phone. Now that I have resolved that issue and am reconnected my playlists are missing from the Sonos App. How do I retrieve them?

How can I create a playlist on Sonos for iOS ?
