As with many others, since last years software update I cannot use my music library properly. Album listings are all messed up and re- installing the library doesn’t change anything. I am also struggling to re add the library as Sonos insists on it being done as  local user, which I do not normally do. I log on with my microsoft account as I did before the update but all I get is error 913. I have logged on with a local account and get the same result. Folder sharing as a far as I can see is set up correctly. There is no sign of Sonos addressing this issue, they just appear to assume that everyone is streaming their music from the web. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi @TimB48

Thanks for your post!

Sorry to hear of these issues you are having with your Music Library.

Error 913 is produced when the Sonos system encounters an SMB (file sharing protocol) version that it does not support.

Additionally, your albums may need to have their Album Artist metadata updated if they are compilation albums.

I recommend you either get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to resolve all this for you, or follow the guide below and then update the metadata:

I hope this helps.
