I’m using S1 app as I have mixed system play 5’s first gen, play 3’s and some second gen play 5, 1 sound bar,,,I recently unplugged my boost from the wifi hub and it’s hard to do anything with the system reliably, I plugged the play 1 in to see if it just needed to be conected, but no luck,,,, this is frustratingI rebooted my whole internet system, whole sonos system

Hello, I have recently needed to take my Apple Music App subscription direct with Apple rather than through my telecommunications carrier. I took up a personal membership. Ever since doing this I needed to reauthorize the access through the Sonos App on my Android phone (current Samsung model) as you cannot add in Apple on the PC version of the Sonos Software. But I cannot get it to work. I have looked through the Sonos community advise, reset everything in the system and even reloaded software. Nothing works and I get this error flow. So to add service and select apple music, the system goes to load up the previously remembered apple ID asks you to press continue asks for your password. you enter your password. Warning bang Javascript: We’ve run into a problem. Try again. OK. You click ok and it dumps you back to step 2. How can I get this to work?

If a guest is playing a song on my Sonos and I want to add that song to one of my playlists the S2 controller won't allow me to add it. Or even take me to the album or song info on the S2 controller so I can manually add it. However, I can see in the S2 controller what song is being played. I don't see why this connection couldn't be established so you can continue curating your playlist from songs guests are playing. When I click the (...) It doesn't give any options.  

Anyone else having issues with spotify on sonos. Working fine the last couple of days. My kids asked me to play smooth criminal by Alien Ant Farm (their cousin’s name is Annie).Tried with Alexa, she said playing smooth criminal by Alien Ant Farm from Paul’s spotify…..nothing. Tried again, same result.Went into the app on andriod (samsung galaxy s20 ultra), tried to search but no results came from spotify. I went to my spotify app and could play the song but when I attempted to connect to a sonos speaker it just timed out. I tried to re-authorize spotify which said successful but no change. I then dropped spotify from my services and attempted to re-add. Whilst re-adding, sonos reported: “(500) Sorry we are unable to set up your Spotify account at this time.”Just me, or anyone else having issues?Based in Sydney Australia, using spotify premium.

I continually have problems with my Sonos and Amazon Prime Music service.  I can play music from my Amazon Prime Music account through the ap and it will play one of my playlists for awhile, then all of a sudden the music will stop. I then get a notification that “…there is missing information with Amazon Music…”.There is nothing wrong with my Amazon Prime Music account, it will play fine off of my kitchen’s Alexa through Sonos while the ap will continue to tell me that there is an issue.  I can play music off of the Sirrius station through Sonos with no issues.  I can play music off of my computer using the Amazon Prime ap no problem. This issue started a few months back.  I have deleted and reinstalled the Amazon Music more than once and it does not help.I spoke with one of the Sonos help personnel earlier today and she told me that the Sonos techs “knew of the issue and that they were working on fixing it”.  I have not read that anywhere on the forum.  

Hi,I own a S2 system (3xFive + Port) with more than 12000 tracks in FLAC & MP3 on 4 folders of a Synology Nas. This year I found out at I couldn't alter my library, without unplugging al the Sonos components & performing the Update Library with just one active component. Also my Port lost, during the night, track of al the music I played the day before. The Fives hadn't had that problem.These BUGs seemed to be resolved with an update from Sonos this month. But yesterdat I noticed that one of my folders are empty, so I can play just 5000 or 6000 from the whole collection. I took me half an hour to get all folders back, because by adding one folder I lost 2 others.Today I found out I miss again a folder!Perhaps this problem is also due to the automatic Library Update during the night, which is, for me, not interesting. Because when I added the folder I lost again 2 others.I'll try to add my folders again & uncheck the autoUpdate function.

I have an m4a that won’t play, even though it seems to adhere to Sonos’ supported file formats. Here is some more information about the file:Codec: AAC LCSample rate: 32 kHzThe error message I am getting is: “The song is not encoded correctly”. It plays without any issues on other devices.Why doesn’t it work on Sonos?

Hi,I am encountering many problems since the last update 14.6. I use the Spotify service (Android + IOS) with the Sonos S2 app and since the 14.6 update the music cuts itself after a while. I also have trouble listening to music in several rooms and my Sonos ONE SL speakers disconnect themselves. I have to reboot them to reconnect them again. Do some of you have these kinds of problems? I hope that the next update will correct these concerns that are extremely disabling in the use of my SONOS system.

Created a few new Apple Music playlists today and they are not showing up in Sonos.  I had now problems with playlists I created a week ago.  I have turned library syncing on and off on all devices (as per previous closed thread suggestion) but still no luck.  When deleting playlists from Apple Music these changes show up in Sonos but nothing when I add them.  Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Just signed up the group.i have been trying for weeks to resolve a connection issue with my sonos S1 app.i have turned off my BT hub etc etc with no joy.the app won’t work on my mac or my iphone.the error message is :cannot connect to // name - imac /itunes because the server cannot be found. any help welcome.thanks

Our spotify is just loading when we choose the speaker (stue). Are on the same network, added spotify on google assist, but still won't stream through speaker (arc). Just say "connecting" See attached screenshot (in Norwegian) 

I have the proper Planet Rock plugin (or whatever it is called!) for Sonos and it seems to work every time on my Roam, but on the lounge speakers, if I don’t play it for a day or so, when I then press play on the Lounge it is never able to play - it comes back with “can’t find Planet Rock station” or something like that.I then have to re-select it from my radio stations on My Sonos and then it plays fine. It does the same thing no matter which app I use - I have it on an iPad Pro and on an Android phone. They both have the same issue. 

Latest update broke my system.  Totally unusable.  Any suggestions on how to recover?  I’m nearly ready to ditch Sonos permanently.  For the money spent on this kind of system, this kind of hassle should not be happening.

SiriusXM station 88 (NFL Radio) station on Sonos says it doesn’t exist when it does.  how to correct this?

Why does it say it's no longer available? 

Hi All,I see this was a problem a year ago. My system worked fine until yesterday. Today, unable to access apple music and get the ‘Apple Music full outage message’. Sonos system is otherwise working fine. All speakers etc connected to network and all updated to latest version. I have just moved house and set up my existing system in various rooms at new house. The problem seemed to arise after I added in my existing play 3 and tv playbar. Prior to that, other rooms with play 1 speakers, sonos arc etc all had access to apple music.Any help/advice on how to fix this?Many thanks in advance.

Sonos been working reliably for years. Update to 11.4 has result in the following problems:-On Windows controller (only one I use) Rooms appear and disappear in the left hand pane. Can’t group rooms (assuming they are even present). Spinning cursor appears and then nothing. Everything also seem sluggish (music search, adding songs to queue, etc). Frequent appearance of spinning cursor. Rarely if ever seen before this update.Have restarted router, wireless network, internet and all Sonos components but no improvement. Network is working properly for all other functions.Any help or guidance appreciated.

I’ve followed these instructions repeatedly:Open Sonos. From the Settings. ... Under Music & Content, tap Add a Service. Click on Add to Sonos, then select I already have an account. Click on Authorize, then enter the credentials of the Admin account.#4 does not fully exist...after I click Add to Sonos it doesn’t have an option to select I Already Have An Account.  It brings me to a list of streaming services.  I’ve already got my Spotify account connected to my Sonos app and now I’m trying to connect, invite, add (WTF ever you want to all it) my wife and/or my wife’s Spotify.  When I click on Settings, + Add a Service, then Spotify, it tells me I’m already connected to Spotify.

I've been dealing with this issue for about a year. I continually have to reauthorize Pandora to work with sonos. Sometimes re-authorizing works, sometimes it doesn't. Error messages vary but "can't connect to Pandora" is common. Sometimes there is no error message, but when I push play on a Pandora station, simply nothing happens. I've spoken to technical support three times so far. The only thing those people can tell me is that it's a Pandora "network issue." That's ***nonsense***. I can play Pandora from the app itself, I can play any other music service, including amazon, through the Sonos app. I can even play Pandora after we authorizing, or sometimes removing and re-adding the service. I talked to pandora, they stayed dead since it plays through my app, it's not their problem. That certainly makes sense. This is clearly an issue with Sonos and they are of no help whatsoever. Has anyone else run into this frustrating issue? *Modera

I listen to Deep Tracks almost daily, but for some reason it does not show up under Recent Channels. Anyone else notice this?

Hi all, Recently I had some playback issues with FitRadio and had to remove it from my services. When trying to add again, I click on "I already have an account” and it automatically errors out saying unable to authorize account. It won’t even let me enter username and password.I am not sure what I can do to reconnect. I am able to add other services like SiriusXM where it prompts you to enter your username and password. What can I do? 

I recently upgraded to a Mac Studio and now I am unable to connect to my music folders which are stored on an external drive. My old iMac didn't have any issues. The location of the folders was not showing up in Sonos correctly so I deleted them from the Sonos Music Library Settings and tried to add them back. When I try to add them, I get the following message:In the ‘Get info’ panel for the folder, Ive changed the permissions for SonosDMS from Custom to Read & Write, but when click ‘Next’ after entering the folder path, it gets changed back to Custom.I currently have the firewall turned off.Sonos is working as expected using streaming services.Apple Studio M1 MaxMacOS 12.3.1Sonos Controller 14.6

I can replay Pandora and Apple stations with no issues but SiriusXM stations display “Unable to play the  Radio station” message

Is there a fix? or @SONOS you need to get involved.
