Bonjour,L’ancienne version de Sonos S2 a été mise hors service du jour au lendemain pour les anciens Mac tournant sous macos El Capitan.L’application exige d’être mise à jour, sauf qu’une fois la mise à jour installée l’application refuse de s’ouvrir car elle n’est pas compatible avec macos 10.11.6Je peux comprendre que l’application ne soit plus mise à jour sur les anciens appareils mais la rendre incompatible du jour au lendemain sans motif ni explication c’est assez lamentable...D’autres personnes sont-elles dans le même cas?

As of today 24th February the Sonos app on my iPhone and iPad prompt that an app update is available. However when I go to the App store I am running the latest available version of the app. I am running S2 version of the app on version 15.1 which is the version available on the App store. All my Sonos devices are running 14.20.2 Build 70437250I tried removing the app completely and then downloading it reconnecting and logging in but it prompts again that an app update is required but it is running the latest version already.Finally on my wife’s android tablet the same thing happens.

I see that the latest Controller app for MacOS is 15.3.  The download page gives me 15.2.  Is the updated controller available for download?

 The  album “The Dark Side of the Moon” (2011 remastered) is in Dolby Atmos on Amazon Music unlimited. But it is only in HD via Sonos App on my Sonos Era 300. Other titles are in Dolby Atmos, Dire Straits etc… I have the Dolby Atmos badge. Never for The  album The Dark Side of the Moon I have only HD badge. 

Anyone using the Sonos app on a Lenovo Chromebook running Chrome OS? All the postings related to the topic are years old....any current Chromebook users out there in 2023?

Not sure if this has already been asked for, but it would be nice if the Sonos App showed which tunes were in Atmos for the new Era 300 speaker. Currently my work around is to find an Atmos album in Amazon via my Amazon Music app, then search again in the Sonos App to play it. It’s a bit of a faff!

Are there any plans to add rewind/pause for live radio in BBC Sounds on Sonos? These features are available in the native app and also in the plugin for Logitech Media Server so they must be available to the API

I’m not able to connect to my Sonos system. I travel from from one place to another Both has worked. I did reset the router, I connect directly to the router via cable. I de-install and installed the software again. It is on a private network. Any ideas people Moderator edit: combined posts so topic is still “in need of reply”.

I switched my internet provider and have a new router now. My Sonos speaker worked find with the old router, but my new provider provided a Fritz!Box 7530 AX, which only work with my Sonos speaker if I wire them together using a ethernet cable. I suspect that the Fritz!Box has a setting or something that prevents the speaker from using the wifi, but I fail to find a reason why. Other hardware like laptops, phones, the TV and even my body scale can connect to the network.I already checked the settings “Allow all new wireless devices” and “Active wireless devices may communicate with each other” as suggested in https://en.community.sonos.com/old-troubleshooting-229136/wifi-connection-issue-with-fritz-box-6836814. Both options are checked but the system still fails to setup wifi for the Sonos Play:5.I have tried

I can’t connect to either Sonic Play 1 speakers from the iPhone App.  The speaker resumes the Spotify playlist last requested, but I can’t choose any other music.  The “Let’s Fix This” troubleshooter says to make sure I’m signed in, but I don’t see a way to sign into the app since Account is grayed out.Account, System, Services & Voice settings all grayed out. 

Error: “There is not enough room to update your music library. Please remove unused queues or saved playlists and try again.” That is the error message I get when I try to add my Apple/iTunes Music Library to Sonos on my new laptop (MacBook Pro) running Ventura, which is my music server.  I read the previous posts dealing with this issue, but have not found answers. My music library has less than 30,000 songs and about 300 playlists, some of which are organized under folders and some have 100+ songs in them. I have 2 Sonos systems in 2 homes.  A legacy system (on an S1 controller) in one and a newer system in a 2nd home (on an S2 controller).  Both systems work very well with multiple zones. I have never had any issues updating my music library on either system, and haven’t made significant changes to my library other than adding a handful or playlists and songs since I go this new MacBook.  But the problem started since I have this new mach

I bought a Sonos Era 100 to use in conjunction with a 2019 Macbook Air running Venture 13.3.1. It became clear that the Sonos speaker was not suitable for me and I took it back. But now after I deleted the Sonos app almost all of my audio files cannot be opened by any of the applications I use for audio (Quicktime Player, VLC, the Amazing Slow Downer, or the infuriating Music). I thought it might be something to do with permissions as it seemed for a while that if I copied a file to the desktop and deleted the “SonosDM” from the permission list on the Info panel it would open. But then that seemed to stop working. I tried various things: disk first aid in recovery mode, deleting some Sonos folders that were still in ~/Library, abundant restarts. Oh how weird. I seem to have fixed the problem (at least for now!): I attempted to change the default open-with of one mp3 file from Quicktime player to VLC. It wouldn’t take but now it seems that file

Is it possible to use the ERA speakers (or other speakers for that matter) as radio without using the app. Meaning you can turn on a favorite radio station from the top of the speaker and not have to start it from your phone. 

I’d like to request that “Music Choice” be added as a service so I can listen with the Sonos devices.

I’m using Apple Music and find using the service through Sonos App to be frustrating, as it doesn’t function as the Standalone Apple Music app would. I can’t add tracks to my library and I can’t even shuffle tracks, there’s just no function for it?  I ha just added Amazon music because I’m thinking of ditching Apple Music. However, after adding the Amazon app there’s no function to shuffle?  Also, can someone tell me if I can just use the standalone Amazon app to play Lossless and High resolution music? I hate the fact that I’m forced to use the Sonos/Apple app to play hi res and lossless audio.  I note I can add new tracks albums ect, but this is added to “my Sonos”. So, in effect it won’t be available in the my Apple Music account? This is all very confusing and very disjointed.

Hi all. When I try to click on a recently played playlist from Spotify via the Sonos app, I get the following error message: Your request can’t be processed at this time. If the problem persists, please check our Service Status page. I have checked the page and there’s no issue there, so it must be at my end. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi.In the 'My Sonos' screen in the app I would normally select one of my playlists that is linked to Amazon Music Unlimited. Now when I want to play a song from my list I get a message 'unable to add songs to the queue'.I have turned off the speakers for a about half a minute, uninstalled and reinstalled the app (it is up to date) and also rebooted my phone, but this hasn't worked. I can use the cast function in the Amazon Music app which does work, although it is not as quickly 'responsive' as using the Sonos app when changing songs or fast forwarding etc. However, for other playlists that are available on Amazon (but none of my own) they play OK. So not sure why my list doesn't play?(Is using Cast the same audio quality as streaming directly in the Sonos app? I have Amazon Music Unlimited so stream HD/Ultra HD).Any help appreciated!Thanks. 

Sonos iOS app 15.2 is unusable. It will not connect to music services or system updates. I have a spare Android device and downloaded v15.2. No issues. Can connect fine on same network. Updated my system that way. Sonos support had me reset network and Sonos devices. It’s the app. The app is flawed. If you’re experiencing similar issues please provide feedback to Sonos. This has to be fixed asap. 

The other night, I updated my system to 15.2.1.  Immediately afterwards, songs that had been playing right beforehand returned the message “Unable to play ‘SONG NAME’ - the song is not encoded correctly.  The source is Apple Music singed onto Sonos, from my Apple Music library, containing all of my songs uploaded through Apple Match.  In every case so far, the songs that error out are songs that I originally ripped from CD years ago.  They are all mp3, sample rate 192 kbps.  Playing them directly from my phone through airplay works fine (but is a major loss of functionality)Does the new Sonos system not like mp3’s?!  Any ideas other than going through and converting them all to Apple Lossless?Thanks,Scott

I have spent 48 hours doing research about this issue. I’ve reset my network and turned everything on in sequence. I removed my Amazon account and added it back to Sonos, but no luck.  I can play songs from any station via Amazon, but cannot play anything from my play list. 

(S1)  Playing a SONOS radio station & it just stopped.  Went to App to restart, but it wouldn't.  Each time it responded with "Unable to play the radio station".  Could not get other SONOS favorites to play, either.  Went to support, clicked on Chat (Bot) in case there's an easy answer, nothing happened, not even a place to enter the problem.  Closed & re-started app.  No different.  Is SONOS down or is there something else I need to do? 

Out of the blue my S1 (Sonos 11.7) system stopped connecting to my music files stored on my 3TB My Cloud Home Service.The drive is functioning, I can access and play files from my iPhoneBefore it stopped connecting completely, I noticed it was becoming quite slow to search files using the App. Now all I get is the ‘Unable to browse music’ message.Is this another prompt to get me to ‘upgrade’ to S2? 

Hi,My Sonos system has fixed IP’s due to speakers missing from some apps (e.g. Spotify/S2)However, when I try and play from the Android S2 App and the Windows Controller app I get error messages saying the following:I have reset my router etc…  

Is there a way to display the name we gave to a Service in the ‘Select a Music Source’ section?I have 2 Spotify accounts linked in my Sonos Controllers, but I never know which one to select. It would be nice if next to the service type, you could have the option to display the name you provided as well.This is an example on the Mac controller, but it is the same for iiPhone app
