RTE Stopped working via sonos app. Works fine via Alexa on Sonos 1 

A strange one - perhaps?I bought a used CD from Ebay recently - but when downloaded on iTunes and transferred to Sonos system the audio playback was poor quality.So I cleaned the disc with Isopropyl alcohol and tried again - same poor sound.I then acquired a second copy of the same CD from a different seller and repeated the download etc. - same result.The chances of both discs being iffy must be slim I would have thought ?When played on my “boom box” retreived from a cupboard the album reproduction was fine.Any thoughts ? 

All I have ever wanted to do was get our 3000 uploaded and downloaded songs out of ITunes and in a format where my wife could simply create a playlist and play it on one app. I bought Sonos to do that. Sonos has some great qualities but it is only a controller. I bought My Cloud by Western Digital which got my music out of iTunes but, lacks some things to make smooth transition. I bought Sonos Roam for on vacation playing and couldn’t access Sonos playlist. We bought a new car with Apple Car Play, can’t access playlist because Sonos doesn’t interact with it. She really hasn’t made the switch to just streaming she wants to be able to use our existing library plus add a few downloads here and there. Anybody else having these issues or found solutions?

So satellite service provider has forced us to update our receivers, Arris 830s, and we have had various problems one that I find really strange, no sound on the Golf channel.Every other channel is just fine and the Golf channel was fine on our previous Arris 630 boxes.Setup is a Sony XBR65X800H, Sonos Beam and 2 Play 1s fed by HDMI and all ethernet connected.I would appreciate any suggestions on how the solve the problem.thanks

I have an S1 Sonos Speaker and have bought & downloaded 22 albums to my iPhone and cannot play them through my speaker. I am an EE customer.what do I need to do to be able to play my music? 

I have tried out both iOS phone and PC to add on Spotify playing on SONOS app. Its not work and unable to find the services as community provide the way how to add on.Tried restart both spotify and SONOS apps, it does not help and solve the issue. Please help and advise on this issue how to resolve it.Appreciate all members and kind advice.

i recently subscribed to Apple Music and added it to Sonos. When I wanted to play the tracks that I saved in my library, i noticed that all tracks are sorted alphabetically instead of by date added like in the Apple Music app. this is really annoying, since I usually listen to my favorite tracks from new to old.  is this a bug or a missing feature? Perhaps I don’t know how enable it? id appreciate some help.  best regards 

Hi community!I have a Smartthings hub and I can control my Sonos from my Smartthings app. The wife would like a button/control on the wall to turn Sonos on/off. Any suggestions on this? Thanks so much :-)Kasper

At work my boss has his own Spotify account on his iphone.I have my own Spotify account with an android phone. We each added our Spotify accounts to Sonos app with different names.But my account will not display. It defaults to his account. We have my name checked on the Sonos app. How do we get both accounts to work on the Sonos app?

I am using an iPad with iOS version 10.3.4 and wondering if there is an earlier version of S2 that will still work on my iPad thx

This issue is similar to “Sonos no longer finds NAS network path” but is S1, the library is very small and the ping to the router where the NAS is seems to be fast. Router (Nighthawk R7000) has a small USB-HD connected as a network folder. All accesses with NO password.My desktop (Windows 10) is able to connect as network location but Sonos S1 (from desktop or Android App) is not, that means, S1 is not able to add a music library as a network device.The error is related to "Server stack" (error 900).Like the other question, this was working fine for years and for months now Sonos no longer accesses the music library. No idea what could be changed in my system.Think I have tried all net-basic things but no luck. Need help. Any advise ?

Hi, I recently updated my Sonos, (all seemed normal) I then came to play my playlist from Amazon and I keep getting the error message ‘cannot add songs to the queue’. It only does this to my playlist, (my husbands, kids etc all play fine!) with no other information. My playlist isn’t particularly long (500ish songs) and if I can’t resolve this my Sonos is pretty much useless for what I want to use it for! Can anyone help? Thanks so much.

I have had my Sonos setup for quite a while, but over the past week the sound randomly dissappears when listening to Spotify. When listening to radio the problem doesn't occur. How do I fix this? 

The Tidal app for PC doesnt seem to find my Sonos products. Must I use the Sonos app when playing from a PC? The Tidal app finds my chromecast and I think Spoitfy also used to find my Sonos speakers.. Not the end of the world, but i prefer the Tidal app (esp for searching). (this has probably been asked a thousand times but I cant find any answers here or on reddit)

Hello,Does anyone know if it's possible to add all the results from a search "on this mobile device" to the queue at once? I assumed maybe it would load all the tracks if i just started to play one but it doesn't. It only adds that one track and starts playing it. I'm problaby just looking in the wrong place or missing something because it most be possible right? Looks like a basic function to me. Adding all the tracks one by one is not very user-friendly. I'm on android and have the S2 app. 

When i enter the password on the Sonos website it allows me access to my account however when i use the same log in details and password on the App it says i have entered the wrong details. Can you please help?

I have acquired a Sub Mini to add to my Beam. I have to update my app on my Android Phone. App refused to update. Remove app from phone, as recommended by Sonos chat. Now I can’t even reload it, so all Sonos products now helpless. Phone software up to date, so not that.

I have three Sonos speakers and I love them. But I guess my soundbar is technically “S1” and when I installed the Sonos app on my desktop everything broke. Then I called support and the guy basically told me to give up on my soundbar and that the phone app can only help me with S2 compatible tech. His other solutions wanted me to connect directly to the router with wires I don’t have. This is nuts. I bought hardware from Sonos, it’s THEIR job to make the app work, not mine. So, rather than rely on Support (that used to be helpful) or massively complicated support docs about downgrading my system, I figured I’d ask others who live IRL.

All of a sudden my Apple Essentials Playlist is come up not encoded correctly , whats that about?Is there anyway to correct this issue.Thanks 

Hi,I have an original Sonos amp linked to Alexa which works fine via voice control. My problem is when I try to use the S1 app. Every new day that I try to use the app it won’t connect to my amp, I have to turn the amp off at the wall and then when it reboots I can use the app, for a day, then it won’t connect again. I am using the app on Apple if that makes any difference.Needless to say, it is very frustrating so would appreciate any advice please.  Thank youMatt

Hi, Is there any chance of looking at the sequence of options when browsing in music services so that the ‘Add to end of queue’ and ‘Replace Queue’ are not beside each other? Very easy to hit wrong option and end up losing list without any warning. Other option would be to put an ‘are you sure’ step in the process if you choose the ‘Replace Queue’ option.  Thanks, David

Purchased Sonos Arc last night and I keep getting the error message Unable to connect to Sonos. Let's fix it. It connects and drops all the time. I have an iPhone 14 and also tried using my iPad as the controller and same issue.  Sonos tech support really couldn’t help me via online chat and to call Monday. Can some shed some light on this issue? Love the sound and don’t want to return. 

I purchased a new Era 100, and I hit on skip on the promo when setting up the device. Now I cannot find the promo in the Sonos app. How do I get this promo?

what is the best approach to transferrring existing sonos system from dying mac to new windows pc 

Had Sonos since 2015. Great product. We used to play Spotify a lot. No issues until few weeks ago. No matter the category after few songs adverts appear, especially Metallica, and - nothing - system goes on pause. Have cleared cache, rebooted router, no difference. Yes we've always had adverts, including "listen to these and get 30 min advert free", which has disappeared. Don't have this issue if we play music via Sonos Radio. It's only started since Metallica appeared.
