I have a music library on a laptop that plays through Sonos.  Every track that I play from the music library has a 10 second dropout around 80 - 90% into each track but only in one room. Here’s what I’ve got:

Room 1

Sonos Connect Amp, connected to:

2 non-sonos speaker (wired connection to Amp)

1 cd player (wired connection to Amp)

1 laptop containing music library (wireless connection to Amp)

Music played from cd player & all apps (bandcamp, soundcloud, etc) - no dropouts

Music played from music library - 10 second dropouts

Room 2

1 sonos speaker (wireless connection to Amp)

Music played from cd player & all apps (bandcamp, soundcloud, etc) - no dropouts

Music played from music library - no dropouts

Room 3

1 sonos/ikea speaker ( wireless connection to Amp)

Music played from cd player & all apps (bandcamp, soundcloud, etc) - no dropouts

Music played from music library - no dropouts

Here’s what I’ve tried so far with no success:

Reboot router

Uninstall & reinstall all sonos software

Uninstall & reinstall all hardware

Move laptop to another location

Connect laptop to sonos amp by ethernet cable

In addition, moving speakers from rooms 2&3 to room 1 & playing music library via Amp through them - no dropouts.  And playing the same track from the music library through speakers in two rooms - dropouts only in room 1

Diagnostic is: 711997769.

Hi @2david6

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports - they should be able to see the cause of the interruptions and be able to advise on how to reduce/eliminate them.

I hope this helps.
