Hi there, I wish to report a reproducible bug that has been affecting many other users of Sonos and Plex for at least half a year: Steps to ReproduceLaunch the Sonos App (iOS, v80.21.6) Search for a song within the Plex service.Expected ResultsSongs are visible and can be played.Observed ResultsSongs are greyed out and cannot be played.  Other types of Plex results (Artists, Albums, etc) are visible and selectable with no issues.  See screenshots.Important NotesSearch works as expected using the web controller at play.sonos.com - see screenshot Logically, therefore, this is an issue with Sonos and not with Plex. Have app loaded on Windows an Android. Using Amazon Unlimited and until last 7 days no problem. In My Music section of  Amazon Music Services if I chose Albums I get list of albums but when I click on individual album therein I only get image and not list of tracks to play. If i press on sub-menu and press play now I get error message. However all tracks are there if I access ‘Tracks’ rather thank ‘Albums’ I have not got over 500 tracks and have tried both delisting and readding Amazon to services. Any advice appreciated

Hi, I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered already but I can’t find anything apart from this old unresolved thread. Every playlist or album I start from spotify or from the Sonos app (using spotify) plays one track and then stops. Sonos Era 100Definitely not any kind of network issue.  Its driving me mad and I would appreciate any solution here so so much! Thanks!

Sometimes I just want Sonos to play random songs from my Apple playlist ‘Songs’ list rather than having to select playlist I’ve created. I tried adding the Songs list to my queue and to my sources but Sonos just runs the list saying the track isn’t available. I have to shut Sonos down completely to stop the loop. Is there a way to get Sonos to play my songs, I have a large number, randomly?

On the S1 app if you hadn’t played music in a while from the iOS app - and you went to play music it would ask you where you wanted to play the music.  It was a setting in the S1 app called “Confirm Location”.  Is this no longer available on the S2 / new Sonos app.  Was this feature removed, or is there a way to activate it?

I normally use the new Sonos App (Android) on either my Google Pixel 8 phone or my Apple iPad to control my system.  Over the last 2 weeks I have found that 25% of the time when I open the new Sonos App I get a message saying no products found? I also have an 8 year old iPad that still runs the old Sonos S2 App.  It can always find my Sonos speakers and control them. I suspect the new Sonos App is trying to log into the Sonos Cloud system to get some information for my account and when it doesn’t get what it needs, it defaults to displaying no products found.   Has anyone else experienced this and how did you resolve it? Thanks very much Dave

Just setting up my first Sonos, Comes up with error 913, cant find a solution

I use my Sonos speaker in my bedroom for white noise at night. I have a certain sound on repeat and the sound is an hour long. Every once in a blue moon at at a random time at night the Sonos speaker will start playing a random song and wake me out of my sleep instead of just continuing the playback on repeat

Why does Sonos SUCK!!!! speakers sound amazing!  However, they don’t connect to anything….  When they do they drop 30-seconds into song!   I would NEVER recommend people buy these very expensive pieces of JUNK!!!   So disappointed!!!   Horrible!!!!

I reverted to Android 16.1 after the May 2024 update disaster and have been quite content to stay there until recently when I purchased a Sonos Roam 2, when it recently went on sale.   However ttempting to add it to my system appeared to require a system upgrade (i’m assuming this means firmware *and* app)!I have 2 S1’s, a S3, a S5, a Port and a Beam.  I also have a Sonos Roam (version 1) which bricked due to battery issues. (I bought a replacement battery and may attempt to replace myself)  I also have a turntable, a CD player and a vintage Kenwood Ka-8300 amp hooked to some vintage FMI speakers.  I use Sono’s music library feature (stored on a NAS) alot, and also stream Spotify and mostly local radio stations.So here are my questions:What is the latest state of the app?   I see that the latest update was about 2 weeks ago (5/6/2025)  and it mentioned fixes to Music Library folders - which I use as my primary Music Library interface If I

I have an issue which was reported in another thread, where selecting a track in Deezer then selecting Start Radio causes a track to start, play silently for 4-5 seconds, then skip to the next track.  It loops that play/skip sequence continuously. The song titles look appropriate as they whiz by, I just would have expected each to play fully. It’s not a Deezer issue in itself, because this works fine in the actual Deezer app; it just fails when using Sonos to play Deezer.  I’m using a Sonos Port, with the Sonos ecosystem correctly linked to my Deezer account (I can play other content from Deezer). This seems to still be broken today, although a reference in the other thread to it being queued up for a fix.  The other thread is locked.  Is this a known issue still? 

Seems I still cannot use the Sonos app to find artist albums in full. Is this just me. I really miss the old app...

Hi All,Long time listener…I am having this issue in the Sonos App when I search on Spotify.  More prolific artists have lots of albums but it only adds so many.  I can’t seem to find this issue on the forum anywhere.  Can someone help me out? 

I have a daily alarm set on one of my Sonos speakers.  If I disable that alarm in the app, eg when on holiday, the alarm is successfully cancelled on the speaker, but on the phone app I still get a notification each day to say that the alarm has started.  Is this a bug - is there a fix?

Any info on this. Nothing in the release notes area. Can’t see any changes or new (aka returning old) features. 

Unable to set alarms. System fully updated. All existing alarms deleted but nothing new is saving. 

Once the Sonos app for Mac updates, I lose my Music Library. I then have to go through some weird way to get it connected again. This is the best way to get it reconnected that I have found: Once I get it connected and able to hear songs from my Apple Music library, it only plays the songs that I have previously added to a queue or playlist. If I look for another song in my Music Library to add to a playlist (or queue), it tells me there are “No selections available.” I’ve tried updating my music library (I do realize it takes a while), but it doesn’t seem to help. Any suggestions? 

Unable to activate anything on Sonos S1 app, new something was wrong this morning when alarm was Sonos chime and not the radio, and the unit wouldn't respond to voice command

Hi! I have the Sonos One speaker, and the Sonos Ikea speaker, and it’s always had a big issue playing podcasts from Spotify.  Playing music from audio (via Airplay, or the other option where it’s not airplay but I just choose the speaker in Spotify) works perfectly.  With podcasts it will just randomly stop for 5 seconds and start again.  This happens whether I use the Airplay option in Spotify, or the option where I choose the speaker in Spotify. Any solution??s

Hi, Just added a RAY to my system  (4 x S1) and installed the latest version of the app for windows (Sonos_85.0-64200).The controller is just blank and I cannot work out what to do to make it active.The app works fine on my mobilePhoto shows the app screen on my pc which is running win 10.Any help much appreciated. 

I'm fed up with Sonos products that can't stream music from my Apple Music service. I'm not even talking about the multiple bugs with speakers that lose connection to the network or the app that changes the name of the speakers as it pleases. I'm going to abandon this brand that is getting worse every year if all the problems aren't resolved quickly.

Hello community,Since yesterday I couldn't re-authorise Tidal since I did a reset of System on my Move 2.I´m 100% I´m using the correct email and password, for it does go thru the login… yet smapi.tidal.com keeps giving this:  

I have two Sonos system, one system with Sonos 2 app, and newer devices, and one system with Sonos 1 app and a connect device that does not funcion with Sonos 2 app.Since a couple of days Sonos is preventing me from using the Sonos 1 app. Instead they are showing a screen, instructing me to use the new Sonos app (which is impossible with the Connect device).Anyone else experincing this?

I know that Sonos speakers are limited to playback of 24/48 files.  I know that the Sonos system will convert 24/192, 24/96, 24/88.2 files to 24/48.  Does it also up convert 24/44.1. My real question is, is it better to allow the Sonos system to convert the files on the fly to the 24/48 resolution or would using a third party app to make the conversion to 24/48 prior to playback be a better option?  Would there be any gain/loss in performance and sound quality by converting those files prior to playback on Sonos equipment

Hi all, I’ve read a few comments where people have had similar experiences regarding loss of personally curated playlists, so assumed mine had disappeared into the Sonos ether for good, after  disastrous app update. I’d resigned I wouldn’t purchase Sonos again (6 speakers in!). However, just went to start over and when I went to add/save a song, all my previous playlists appear! I’m now hoping they’re still there somewhere but I just don’t know how I can access them? Any advice 🙏
